Thank you for notifying me of regarding Mr. [redacted]’s concern
regarding Revdex.com’s number [redacted].
 
As I explained in my response dated July 3, 2017 the Limited Factory Warranty
on Mr. [redacted]’s 2014 FXDC103, Vehicle Identification Number [redacted], expired on April 1, 2016.
 
His concern is not
related to a Limited Warranty situation. Therefore, our position remains
unchanged.

February 2, 2017 Thank you for notifying me of Mr. [redacted]’s complaint, Revdex.com number [redacted]. As explained in my original response on January 30th, 2017 his concern is not related to a Limited Warranty situation. Mr.
[redacted]’s motorcycle was inspected by a Harley-Davidson Remote Technical Lead
on December 18, 2016 and February 21, 2017 at Hot Metal Harley-Davidson. It was
determined that his 2014 Street Glide Special Vehicle Identification Number
[redacted] is operating as designed and is a proper representation of a
Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
 
For this
reason Mr. [redacted]’s request for assistance to trade his motorcycle for a new
model is denied.

Thank you for providing the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).  I talked to [redacted], the Service Manager, at the dealership and he informed me that they have not found any issues with Mr. [redacted] motorcycle and it is a proper representation of a 2017 FLSTC.  [redacted] also informed me that they rode with Mr. [redacted] and provided feedback to him regarding the proper shifting operation of the motorcycle.

Thank you for your inquiry.  When Mr. [redacted] refers to a "Customer Service Manager", please ask him to provide the phone number to which he called and the reference number he was given so we can investigate his complaint further.  Thank you.

Thank you for your response.  We have directed Mr. A[redacted] to the dealership as that is where he bought the motorcycle.  We are the manufacturer that sells motorcycles to our authorized Dealerships.  The dealership is the only one that can work with Mr. A[redacted] on a replacement motorcycle.  Harry at the dealership has made repeated attempts to resolve this matter with Mr. A[redacted], but he has not received a return phone call.  Please have Mr. A[redacted] call Harry at the dealership today.  If Mr. A[redacted] wants to replacement motorcycle, he needs to make that request to Harry.  Thank you.

Thank you for the inquiry.  The part that the dealership needed to complete the repair was expedited and shipped to them earlier this week.  We apologize for the delay that was a result of a supplier situation.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.The Harley Davidson Co as a respected business should make sure the dealers representing their products are held accountable for their lack of professionalism.  They tricked me into buying a 3 year maintenence service plan telling me that if I didnt I would have to pay over $1000 a year to maintain a BRAND NEW bike and if didnt perform any of "required" service the manufacturer's warranty would be voided.I spoke to different dealers and they either refund that if you change your mind or they dont even offer that service becuse they said it is not worth it to the customer.And they snuck in the price of the parts to the base price of the bike but it was supposed to be free of charge and now they dont want to honor that.Thats really unprofessional to lie and deceive customers.

refers to a “warranty” he purchased through and independent authorized dealer.  This is most likely an Extended Service Plan with optional coverage for tires and wheels should they fail due to contact with a road hazard.  The dealership purchases this plan through a company named CNA National Warranty Corporation.  We would recommend Mr. [redacted] contact their service center at 800-527-7665 for further explanation on the coverage or denial of coverage.Thank you for your time, [redacted]

I investigated this issue and found that Mr. [redacted]
contacted our Customer Service Department on October 13, 2016 regarding a
concern with his...

handlebars. Mr. [redacted] stated his handlebars loosened after
they were adjusted by Williams Harley-Davidson. Mr. [redacted]’s complaint is
related to his experience with an independently owned
and operated authorized Harley-Davidson dealership.
 
Since
the concern is not related to a Limited Warranty situation, this issue needs to
be addressed with the Williams Harley-Davidson located in Lebanon, NJ.
 
Any questions related to his Extended Service Plan should
be directed to CNA National Warranty Corporation at ###-###-####.

I received a response back from our [redacted] for that market and he said that since this motorcycle is over six years past the expiration of the warranty, we would not be able to provide any assistance with the repair.

I have investigated this issue and found that Mr. [redacted] contacted
our eCommerce Store on April 5, 2017 stating he ordered an air filter (part
number 29331-96) through the website. Mr. [redacted]...

stated he did not check his
email for an order confirmation, and assumed the order did not process
completely so he had ordered the part a second time.
 
We cancelled his duplicate order number 12025740.  We have issued a refund in the amount of
$36.90. The refund processed in our system on April 11, 2017, Mr. [redacted] was
informed that the process may take 5 to 7 days.
