We are sorry that Mr*** does not accept our explanation of the sound that he hears

Mr***,We have contacted your dealership. They have advised us that the repairs to your motorcycle have been completed as of January 13, and they are waiting for your pick up. It appears that when we were made aware if you initial complaint we made arrangements to expedite a part to the dealer for them to complete the repairs. We do apologize if there were any delays on our end that caused you inconvenience.Your recent statement contains a request to repurchase your motorcycle. We will not be be participating in purchasing your motorcycle. Please make arrangements with your dealer to pick the motorcycle up at your earliest convenience

They did not extend my warrantyThey did not offer anything to
give me peace of mind on my charging system issue I have had with my motorcycleI talked to *** Harley Davidson and Richmond harley Davidson and they both told me that they have had problems with and cruiser models voltage regulatorsThe least harely could have done is given me extended covarage on my charging system

Harley recalled the brake fluid in the motorcycle knowing the fluid causes problems with the ABS systemI have had my service done on my motorcycle and have receiptsHow can Harley hold the current owner responsible for not having the receipts of the previous owner?This is Harley’s way of not owning up to the problems they have with their motorcycles

that the tires were replaced through the Dunlop Limited Tire WarrantyAs a gesture of customer satisfaction we offered to pay for the installation of her tires through an authorized Harley-Davidson dealership, not an independent shop If Ms*** would like to take advantage of the opportunity she is welcome to contact the service department at H***um’s Harley-Davidson for details. This is unacceptable response, I don't care about the part anymore, I need the damages to be refunded, Months of Finance paid, insurance and the cost of driving my car instead of the motorcycle and being dragged multiple times from San Diego to Morgan Hill.This is not a resolution, its insult to my intelligence and treating me like an it!Buy back the vehicle at original cost and refund my paid portion or refund me everything that cost me during this period or will take further action

As designed? There is an obvious design requirement flaw thenNot one of my vehicles has this poor of reception or that short of a buffer in itEvery bridge that I pass under with the motorcycle the Sirius is interruptedPut the motorcycle in the exact same place, drive the exact same route as the my Ford F150, Ford Explorer, or my sons Toyota Tacoma that has had Sirius added to it and the motorcycle drops out constantly where the vehicles do not. I called my dealer right after the bike was purchased to ask about the poor reception and lack of buffer and I was told to contact your customer service departmentI was told engineering was aware of the issue and addressing itAll I want to know is what the time line is for this issue is to be resolved and to get it resolved since I paid for it.Thank You

I have investigated this file and found that Harley-Davidson’s
Customer Service was contacted on March 1, regarding corrosion on multiple
areas of his FLTRXS, Vehicle
Identification Number 1HD1KTM10GB
Mr*** submitted photos of the affected
areas on March 2, A Customer Service Specialist replied to Mr***’
emails, explaining that corrosion is not a
defect in materials or workmanshipMr*** was referred to an authorized Harley-Davidson
dealer to determine which maintenance product is best suited for his needs
Mr*** contacted us on March 15, and spoke with a
different Customer Service Specialist who reiterated this information
The Touring Owner’s Manual has a section beginning on
page which explains Cleaning and General Care of the motorcyclesThis
section includes a listing of all tested and approved Harley-Davidson Cleaning
and Care Products
If Mr*** has any questions regarding the use of these
products any authorized Harley-Davidson dealership would be happy to assist
Mr*** referenced a brake fluid leak on the motorcycleThis
issue should also be addressed at any authorized Harley-Davidson dealer

found that on May 15, 2017, Harley-Davidson Technical Service was contacted by
Fort Thunder Harley-Davidson regarding Mr
***’s Passenger PillionIt was
explained to Fort Thunder that glue used on the passenger pillion is for
upholstery purposesIt is it not meant to keep the base attached to the form
over a period of time, and the condition described is not considered a
manufacturing defect
Mr*** contacted
Harley-Davidson Customer Service on June 13, regarding the passenger
pillion part number which is installed on his FXSE Vehicle
Identification Number ***Mr*** was concerned that the foam
on the backrest was separating from the leatherIt was explained to Mr***
that this a proper representation of the product and this is not a defect in
manufacturing or production
Because this is not a limited
warranty situation Mr***’s request for a replacement passenger pillion has
been denied

*** ***i purchased a Dyna Fat Bob in Which had rims better quality then I got on a Road King which is to be a upgrade model not to mention you sell these so call rims for about a piece and the rims are not covered under warranty not acceptable.I did nothing to rims to be in this conditionThis is poor quality aluminum rims ,they should not be difficult to maintain and corroded like thatA certified letter is going out today to the CEO of this company let him know the kind of service you get from Harley Davidsonthank you for not supporting this matter. regards *** ***

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]All concerned, Per the respondents request I called the number listed in their website under customer service at ###-###-####There was no mention of a reference number and I ended the call after experiencing the blatant disrespect and unprofessionalism by the service representative that identified himself as a manager when I asked to speak to one.As you can see from the prior correspondence I guess it’s for Harley representatives not to identify themselves even when responding to the Revdex.com.Although, the representative should be reprimanded in some form due to his action and lack thereof, that is not my focusThe attention should be focused on the issue of me receiving a defective product and not on where/how proper resolution has failed
