Charges for service she they do not deliver on, poor customer service and no follow through. Paid for services not appropriately rendered.
Paid for assistance getting rid of timeshares bought through Marriott, both are going to foreclosure when they have been paid to help keep this from occurring. No communications from this company, they don't answer emails or phone calls, they take your money and run as far as I'm concerned. Horrible practices and not even the courtesy to pick the phone up.

Desired Outcome

Full refund or delivery of services as they were spelled out.

Aconsumercredit™ Response

Our office has spoken with Ms. and we have had a very productive conversation regarding how her file will be handled moving forward. We have assured her that we are working very diligently to obtain the completion of her contract with our office. Both parties are in agreement that we are back in good communication and that American Consumer Credit, LLC will continue to advocate on her behalf and secure her final release from Marriott. We are thankful for her understanding and look forward to obtaining her final release.

Customer Response

I agree somewhat with what's being said, they are back to communicating and are putting efforts in. However my biggest concern is that whenever the subject of the foreclosure is brought up, it still sounds 80-90% likely that Marriott will forclose on one or both properties. Being told that, isn't how things were spelled out at the beginning of the process. I paid to avoid foreclosure, not just clean the mess up after.

I am very unhappy with the "30 day" cancellation policy!
I recently signed a contract with this company on 8/25/17 and decided to cancel less than a week later. The representative Jennifer I was speaking with assured me that I had 30 days to think over my decision and if I decided to cancel I would be issued a full refund for my deposit. I couldn't go a whole week without feeling like a made a bad decision with this company so I quickly called them on 9/1/17 to cancel and was asked to put my cancellation request in writing. After tracking the letter I sent, I realized my cancellation letter arrived on 9/6/17. I immediately called the office and was told I had to wait 30 days for them to make a final decision on how much they would be refunding me. Now I'm confused. I was told that I would be given a full refund is I canceled within the 30 day period. Today is 9/29/17 and I received an email from Madelin A that I would only be receiving $250 back. The email did not summarize the work that was done on my account in which I am sure was not much since I canceled within the first week. This company is preying on vulnerable people! They are very nice and helpful before they get you to sign the contract but once you cancel they throw you to the wolves. I feel like they are just as deceiving as the resort company I was trying to get away from. Such a disappointment!

Desired Outcome

I would like this company to give me full refund of my deposit

Aconsumercredit™ Response

American Consumer Credit and Mr. and Mrs. have had proper communication over what was basically a clerical error. We have satisfied their request and both parties are satisfied with the outcome. we would also like to add that we never throw anyone to the wolves so to speak and that we addressed this as soon as it was brought to our attention. We wish The ***'s the best in their future endeavors.

The company contacted me stating there was a clerical error on my previous refund agreement. The error has been corrected and a full refund has been issued.

My husband and I had a great experience with American Credit Consumer. We were already involved in a legal dispute with a timeshare company and we turned to them for help. Kristen was amazing! She answered all of my questions from start to finish. They were honest and were always available to talk to. You never feel like a problem for them! We ended up getting the release through our previous attorney, and even then ACC took the time to review the document to make sure it was what we needed. Kristen was very understanding and made sure our refund was processed in a timely manner since we got released through another entity. I would recommend ACC to anyone in need of legal assistance with a timeshare!

Aconsumercredit™ Response

I highly recommend this company!!!
My husband and I were in over our heads once we bought our timeshare and were not able to afford such an expensive mortgage. This company gave us the confidence to trust in people again. They were very honest with us from start to finish so we knew what to expect. Thank you so much to Maria and all of the staff at ACC for the helping us through this process.

Poor Customer Service; no communication from company; we request a refund of money paid ;
We want a full refund of $2,375.00 paid to American Consumer Credit, LLC. Our Contract #:*** began on May 6, 2016 and to-date our time share ownership with WorldMark has not been released except by "Involuntary Repossession" by them.
Our credit has not been corrected despite two attempts with Equifax. This makes us think that American Consumer Credit has not been in contact with WorldMark at all on our behalf.
Every time Penny called for an update, she was told the attorney is working on it. Calls that David made have literally gone unanswered. We have requested written status updates several times - nothing.
American Consumer Credit gave us a 100% guarantee that they would get us out of our timehsare and maintain our credit. This has not happened.

We sent Certified, Return Receipt letters on 8/16/17 to the owner, compliance officer, COO and attorney with no response.

Desired Outcome

Seeking a full refund of $2,375.00 paid to company. Correct our credit report.

The Teeters signed up with our company in may of 2016. They entered into a contractual agreement in which they were guaranteed one of two things: a release from their timeshare obligation or contract; or a refund of the money paid to ACC. On or before December 31, 2017 the Teeters were released from their contractual obligation to Worldmark by Wyndham due to the efforts and proven program enacted by ACC. Since that time ACC has worked with the customer and been in constant contact regarding the disputes to Equifax and ensuring that any and all negative credit reporting would be remedied.

ACC has fully complied and fully performed the guaranteed service in the contractual agreement between the parties and stands by its program and proven process. ACC has been in contact with the Teeters on more than 20 occasions and has reached out since this dispute, only to not have any phone calls returned. ACC will continue to work toward removing the negative remark by equifax, but has already completed the guaranteed portion of the agreement.

I hired these people to help me get out from under this Time Share Contract I have had for several years and was not able to use. I paid half of the fees up front to ACC and paid the other half in 4 installments. They took all my info, I was told that I would be contacted by the lawyer at some point to go over things. Contract was signed and copies sent to me. I was sent a copy of a cease and desist letter that was sent to the company . After a lengthy wait period of no change and many phone calls I was asked to send in the contract info and sign the paperwork for final release. I waited the 60 to 90 days and was told that a letter would arrive from the Time Share Place and to let them know. That was a month ago. I called a few weeks later for ample time to receive the letter, still no letter, I spoke with a lady a couple weeks ago and I was told that a new letter would be drafted and sent. When I called today I was told that it would be sent within the hour.. I am being given the run around and feel that there has been a substancial amount of time to get this resolved. I find it ridiculous that it is taking as long as it is.
Product_Or_Service: Time share contract release

Desired Outcome

Other (requires explanation) I want this matter wrapped up like I was guaranteed that it would be. If it cant be I want my money back

Aconsumercredit™ Response

We have had a very productive conversation with Mr, *** and assured him that we are near the end of completion on his current contract with us. Both parties are in agreement that we are back in good communication and that American Consumer Credit LLC will continue to advocate and secure his final release. We are thankful for our clients understanding and look forward to getting him released from his contract with the resort.

Customer Response • Sep 11, 2018

ACC has a 100% money back guarantee, They have been unable to release me from contract or give me a refund.
In Oct 2016 I hired American Consumer Credit to help me get out of a time share contract that I was unable to use. I paid them $2500.00 I waited a year no one could give me any information about my case. Repeated calls. I contacted the Revdex.com then and reported this. Mr. Michael S is their attorney. He contacted me and asked how to resolve the issue. I stated that I wanted out of the contract or my money back. He worked the issue and to this day 2 years later I am still under contract with the time share, I am constantly called about this from them, and nothing has been accomplished. Mr. S ignores my calls, text and emails for a refund. I am very dissatisfied with this whole process.
