Aconsumercredit did not fulfill their contract by getting rid of my timeshare.
On June 26 2018 I contacted Aconsumercredit and entered into an agreement to have them rid me of my timeshare. I paid them up front to do this in the amount of 2300.00. I was told by their rep that it would be 90 days before this would be done, I tried to call them today 9/26/2018 and cannot get in touch with them. The phone number that I have is no longer in service and the 800 number is full. I would like my money back so that I can go to someone else, as they guaranteed.
I would like for them to fulfill their contract or return my money!!!
I hired AConsumerCredit to represent me in getting me out of my timeshare. I've sent all paperwork on time and have had little follow up with them.
In March of 2018, I hired Micheal S via AConsumerCredit to represent me in getting out my timeshare with***. I was assured that my timeshare would be cancelled within a specific timeframe; under a year. They also informed me that they would assist me in recouping some funds already paid to*** as well as assist in repairing my credit should this process impact my score negatively. I have submitted all documentation I received from***. The individuals at AConsumerCredit rarely contacted me to give me updates. I mainly had to reach out to them. It is now late September 2018 and I learn that they have filed bankruptcy and their website appears to be down. The phone number(s) I have all go to a voicemail that is full. After paying over $2500 for their services, I'm very disheartened to learn about this company and they're less then stellar reputation. I fully intend on filing further complaints with the attorney general as well as with the florida bar association.
Since the desired outcome was not achieved, I would like a full refund from Micheal S and/or AConsumerCredit.com.
We contracted with American Consumer Credit to investigate and get us out of a fraudulent timeshare contract. They did nothing. They have now closed.
We contracted with American Consumer Credit to work to get us out of our timeshare contract which we determined was fraudulent. We paid them $2750 on July 14, 2017 knowing it was a money back contract if they could not get us out of the timeshare. Last year, they answered phones and seemed to be helping. But this year, the phone answering became more sporadic. About 50 days ago my wife called them and they said our timeshare company would sign papers to get out of timeshare completely and we should get paperwork from them. I've been calling American Consumer Credit now and no one answers phone. Website is now shut down so we think they are closed down. We want our money back. They did not perform on anything promised in contract.
We want full refund of $2750.00 we paid.
Like everyone else now, I am in a pickle with my Credit Bureaus since they filed for bankruptcy and my timeshare foreclosed on me. I left messages that I was due a refund since the contract was broken. I have received no answers from my calls and emails. All web links are broken.
I would like to be refunded all the funds I sent them when I signed up.
We entered into a contract with ACC in December 2016 and now almost 2 years later, we still have no resolution and all phones are disconnected.
In December 2016 we entered into a contract with ACC in which they agreed to get us out of our *** timeshare contract. While communication with the business was great throughout the 1st year, since January 2018, communication is scarce. I would regularly call to get updates on the status and would have to leave voicemails. I would not receive call backs and would have to keep calling to get in touch with a person. I was told on 3/28/2018 that ACC send *** the 'final paperwork release'. I called back in July, after not receiving any more forms of communication, and was told that they were going to court for all customers of *** that they were representing - the court date was to be August 14, 2018. I have been calling repeatedly since and have only been directed to voicemails. As of 9/10/2018, the main customer service number had a 'full mailbox'. I called Madeline's # directly and was able to leave a voicemail. I left numerous voicemails over the course of a week. I just tried calling both #s again today, 9/25/2018, and receive an automated message on both lines. One stating the wireless customer you're calling is not available and the other has a voicemail box that is full. I just want to be out of this *** contract once and for all. and to be done with ACC and their deceptive practices. At this point, it appears they've closed their doors and are taking the money and running.
They need to get us out of the *** Timeshare that they are obligated to. We paid a great sum of $$, signed a contract
I pay this guys 1500 dollars to get my timeshare fix and they just desapears they send me contracts and everything working normal for a few days and now they just desapear making thing wors for my credit . I just want my money back.
Product_Or_Service: Contact to dissolve my time share
Billing Adjustment Payment back
I been calling and faxing everything come no answer and calling a voice message come on stating bankrupty
I been calling, faxing and no response regarding a claim dealing with timeshare. It been over a six months the time it was said it was stated that we should have updated information from the timeshare regarding the relief.
If the claim cannot be resolved I will like my refund that was paid at the beginning to the attorney that was handling the timeshare claim
the company was contracted to provide legal guidance to get me out of my timeshare commitment with a 100% written guarantee. They did nothing
In April of 2017, I contracted the company to provide legal services
In April of 2017, I contracted the company to provide legal services to eliminate my contract with a timeshare company (Shell Vacations). The company provided a 100% written guarantee (in writing) if they were not successful. They asked me to provide them any communication from the timeshare company. I did and it is the only way I would have known that they were filing bankruptcy as I received an automated message that they were going of business. They never updated me on my case 1 over the preceding 6 months.
Credit report repair still in progress and I have been unable to reach this company to confirm receipt of sensitive ID documents + get next steps
ACC has always been good about answering phone calls (emails tend to take 3 days for reply but that's in the contract). However lately I cannot reach them despite several attempts. Many of those attempts I get a message indicating "this number has a voice mail box which is full." The couple of times I could leave a message, the call has not been returned. I also left a voice message with the attorney with whom they work (who has worked on my case), also no response.
My questions are outlined in the "Bilsland email 10Sep" - essentially did they get my sensitive documents sent via USPS, what's going on with the one account in which the collections are still accruing - are they able to fix that as promised? - what are next steps / timing, and what do they need from me.
If the contract terms can't be fulfilled we need to talk partial refund as I'll need to head to another attorney to complete this process. My credit report looks pretty bad right now and I am going through background checks for job applications.
I'd be happy to continue working with them if I could just get a response & update, and a guarantee of future responses. I don't think I've done anything unreasonable on my end.
Attached are a log of contact attempts, only the 8/17 interaction was a two-way conversation. Also the individual with whom I was supposed to be working does not seem to be there anymore ("Jackie in Credit" - the email is not working as of a week or so ago).
Please finish the cleanup of my credit reports for the two "dings" (one per each condo company, and on each of the bureau reports on which the "dings" appear), help stop the accrual of the collections account, and let's wrap this up.
On August 27,2018 I contacted a company online that would handle legal process to a timeshare that was paid in full for services not rendered.
August 27 , 2018 I paid Aconsumer credit $3250 with my debit card to get out of a timeshare with ***. The lady I spoke with was Michelle 1-386-256-1283 is her number . She gave me a 1-800-611-0631 which was a case manager that I would be in touch with. After not hearing anything else from them my husband said I needed to touch base with them because the creditors were calling from ***. Every number or email I send is out of order. I have all of the documents I signed. I also read that they went bankrupt after I tried to pull them up online and it saying no page found.
All I want is my money refunded form whomever has taken it.
American Consumer Credit stated that upon receipt of final payment that I'd receive notifications about TimeShare Exit
I have yet to communicate with anyone regarding my Time Share exit. I've given them ample enough time to correspond, but they have yet to do so. The only time they'd contact me is when it was time for a payment. I just today sent an email to them, and I see that they've filed a Chapter 11. No one will return an email, nor answer a call. I've, as well as many others, have invested 2200.00 into this company and they've disappeared without giving any type of formal notice. This seems to be fraudulent and not professional at all.
I'd like them to FINISH THE SERVICES they promised, or provide a FULL REFUND. I was told not to make ANY MORE payments nor speak to the Time Share Organization, and as of 4-5 months ago I haven't, and I've constantly been getting behind on my payments, and have received numerous letters and calls from that company. I'd like a full refund, as well as all payments and late fees incurred under their guidance not to pay if they cant finish the job.
Contract with AConsumer Credit to sell two timeshares, which are now in collection.
File #***
Paid $3,230 with their guarantee to release timeshar
I paid $3,230, 7/7/17,to sell timeshares at Orange Lake Resorts, *** Beach, RI. File #***. I have faxed all invoices, liens, collections to AConsumer Credit. The contract states a full refund is guaranteed if timeshares are not sold.
I am a Senior Citizen living on social Security and cannot afford maintenance fees or taxes on these properties.
I would like to be released from both timeshares. I cannot afford the annual maintenance fees or taxes. ***, 8 Crandall Ave, Westerly, RI 02891 401-348-0920 ***, 8505 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy, Kissimmee, FL 34747 1-800-298-3706
Aconsumercredit didnt comply with my contract. The website is now down and calls go directly to voicemail. Im owed a full refund per the contract.
My contract with Aconsumercredit began on 22 August 2018. I was guaranteed to be freed from my timeshare or I would receive my deposit back. The contract also said that I could cancel within 30 days and receive my full deposit back. I chose to cancel after I received a voicemail from another company a week late telling me aconsumercredit is a fraud and the representative that originally had my case had quit. I was told that the prior representative had a family emergency and the new rep would take over. The call was from an attorney at another company that said he received my number from the original rep after he quit when he found out the company was a fraud. I did not call the new company back but I wrote he new rep and let her know that I had received a voicemail and let bet know what was said. Becauae I no longer trusted aconsumercredit, I followed the contract and sent a request to cancel the contract and receive my $2200 deposit back before the 30 day deadline. I got the notification that the mail was received since I sent it first class with tracking but I didn't get a response and both my phonecalls and emails have gone unanswered.
A refund owed to me per the contract
We signed a contract with American Consumer Credit to obtain a release from our timeshare.
We signed a contract jan 2017 for this company to obtain a release from our timeshare. The term of the contract is for1 yr. If not completed by then we are to have our money refunded. THe contract date 1/2017. It also states in the contract that they may continue for another year and not contact us and let us know. I have been trying to contact the company recently and have not been able to speak to anyone either my phone or email. TO date I have no information of the status. It is now on my credit and I need to speak to them. I even called the attorney of record and had to leave a voice mail and I have not hear from him either. THe voice message on there answering service still has a date of Aug 31 in their message that they will be closed thru 9/4 for the holiday. No when I call it just says voice mail full. I am very frustrated and it is hindering my credit.
I would like them to finish the job or refund my money so I can move forward.
On March 29, 2018
We signed a contract with AConsumer Credit
to eliminate time share. I was just informed that they have file chapter 11 bankruptcy.
Every month I have sent statements to the email address with case number. I would usually get a responses to confirm that the email was received. I have tried to call, every number says the voice mail is full.
I have emailed with no response.
I'm now getting foreclosure notices.
I went into my contract and called the Staff Attorney that signed the Authorization and release form. He informed that he is no longer on staff. He says that the AConsumerCredit has filed a chapter 11.
I have received no communication from any one . They were quick to tell me that they have helped many people. Gave me a all kinds of information telling me that they could eliminate my Timeshare. They told me to make no payment and to not communicate with the company. What am I suppose to do now?

I would like to get a full refund of my money and get the debt remove from my credit report.
American Consumer Credit has failed to provide the timeshare release service that I paid $2200 for in 2015-2016. My refund request has been ignored.
On Nov 3, 2016, I entered into a contract with ACC to secure a release of my timeshare obligation with *** Resort of Lake Havasu City AZ. I signed all authorizations including one to charge my Capital One credit card a total of $2199.98 over the course of 7 months to secure this release. I forwarded any and all copies of resort correspondence to your company, as required by the contract. Since your company provided no updates on the status of my release, I was consistently calling your office for updated over the past 20 months. The majority of the time, my call went to voicemail and calls were not returned. When I was able to speak to a representative, I was always told that the negotiations were in progress and were taking longer than expected. When asked to provide written proof and/or documentation of actions taken on my behalf, your office informed me that your actions and documentation were "proprietary" and I could not receive any copies. On 04/23/18, I was advised that your office was in still in negotiations with LBR and there was no final resolution and I should call back next month for updates.
On June 29, 2018, I received a letter from *** of Asheville NC that my Maintenance fee debt had been sent to them from *** Resort for collections. I immediately called ACC, again no answer. I left 5 voicemails for a callback on that day alone. Again, no return calls. On 07/02/18, I called 3 more times without response. I then called the original contact number for the ACC sales representative. The rep gave me the 800 611 0631 number. I called and spoke to Heather. She was very apologetic about the non returned calls. She then had me scan and email the MFS letter to ACC immediately so she could review it with her supervisor. She promised a return call on 07/03/18. To date no call has been received. I have called daily since then, leaving messages. No return call was received.
After repeated phone calls during July, I finally spoke to Heather on 07/20/2018. I was referred to her manager, "Dana" who began berating me for the way I was talking to Heather instead of informing me of my case status. When advised I wanted a refund, he said, " Go ahead, request the refund in writing.
On Aug 2 , 2018, I sent a certified letter to ACC requesting a full refund of my charges of $2199.98, either as a credit back to my card or a check, within 30 days. The letter was received by ACC on Aug 6, 2018. To date, no correspondence or refund has been received
Full refund of $2199.98
I was told I could be out of my timeshare if I gave them $2300 and they would do the rest. The only notice I got was a bill from bill collectors.
I was sold a very convincing line that they could get me out of my timeshare if I paid $2300. Never heard from them again and the last time I called their mailboxes were full. By that time I had a bill from a collection agency as well. 13 years in business defrauding customers. Then I found the "F" rating
The business web-site is down and I would hope it won't be able to open under another name. I have no hopes of getting my money back, thanks
Paid American Consumer Credit to get out of a time share. When paid in full the company stop returning phone calls and emails.
My husband and I hired American Consumer Credit to get us out of our *** time share. They promised that they could do it or our money would be refunded 100%. We made one payment on our credit card at the time of signing up then four smaller payments. Once the total amount was paid in April of 2018 this company stopped returning our phone calls, their voicemail box was full, and they would not return emails. We have sent them everything that they have ever asked for and we can not get in contact with anyone to get our money back.
I would like a total refund of my money because American Consumer Credit has failed to complete the job we hired them to do. Not to mention the lack of communication on their part.
No longer able to contact this company for status of my service per contract. Worried that I was scammed.
I purchased a service contract from AConsumer Credit to Exit my Timeshare with *** on March 5, 2018. I was promised monthly status updates after the first 90 days.
June 12, 2018: Contacted them via phone, Status: Working with *** who agreed to release 700 clients and looking to finalize in Aug 2018
August 15, 2018: Contacted them via phone, Status: Still going back and forth with paperwork finalizing the deal. *** has 30-45 to respond.
September 13&14, 2018: Phone calls did not go through, automated message 'queue is full'. Filled out website Contact Us form both days asking for a reply via phone or email. Nothing.
September 17, 2018: Their website is no longer working. Receive Error 404 - Page not found.
Either provide status update with proof there is progress on Exiting my Timeshare with *** Or, provide a full refund of $2,300.00
