BAD SERVICE AND REQUESTED CANCELLATION OF OLD ADDRESS AT TIME SERVICE INSTALLED FOR NEW ADDRESS; WAS NOT CANCELLED UNTIL MONTHS LATER, BUT NO REFUND AT THE END OF 2015, HAD TECHNICIAN COME OUT TO INSTALL SENSOR ON FRONT DOOR BECAUSE WE HAD REPLACED DOOR AND FRAMETECHNICIAN OFFERED TO PUT SENSORS ON MASTER BEDROOM WINDOWS FOR FREECOULD NOT ARM ALARM WITHOUT BYPASSING BECAUSE TECHNICIAN ONLY PUT OF PART SENSOR ON WINDOWSCALLED ADT CUSTOMER SUPPORT AND TOLD THAT THEY COULD NOT SCHEDULE TO HAVE TECHNICIAN COME OUT AND THAT SOMEONE WILL CALL IN WEEKS TO SET APPOINTMENTAPPARENTLY, CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS AN OVERPAID ANSWERING SERVICESOMEONE CALLED AFTER WEEKS, BUT I DID NOT SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENTABOUT TO SELL HOME AND ADVISED BY REALTOR TO LET NEW HOMEOWNER DEAL WITH ISSUE MOVED ON 3/29/WORKED WITH TORI TOSSES AT SAFE HAVEN SECURITIES WHO ASSISTS MY REALTOR'S CLIENTS TO SET UP ADT SERVICE AT NEW ADDRESSWAS TOLD THAT I COULD NOT CANCEL SERVICE AT MY OLD ADDRESS UNT

We are not the owners of the apartment which makes it illegal They said they would disconnected free of charge, they lied(We spoke to them late November 3) The contract was written in pencil Sales person pushing to (illegible)

PSA - "ADT" is the pretty face of the companyThey literally do NONE of the workHow is this possible? Let me explain ADT is the popular, widely known name of home security and monitoringWhat they DO NOT tell you is that a company called DEFENDER is actually the company supplying your products, your warranties and completing your installationThe number on ADT's website directs you to Defender, however, they do not tell the customer this, so you think you are talking to ADT the entire timeThe most unfortunate part of this duo company is that neither take responsibility or attempt to help customers in the leastThey constantly point fingers at the other companyIn total, I've spent hours, ELEVEN HOURS, over the last days, on the phone being transferred from one company to another, "disconnected", thrown into queue lines that end in voice mails - you name it, I've experienced it The sales agents who sell you the initial package will tell you anything you want to hear, as long as they get their money(Come to find out, they work on commission and get paid when you complete the sale.) I had an agent tell me that "all equipment necessary to protect your home and your family is FREE OF CHARGE" with the promotion they were running the day I calledThen, when the installer got to my house, he was directed by Defender to only install windows and I had to pay for the rest of them (This totaled over $worth of product)It took me DAYS to iron this situation out and in the end, it still isn't fully correctedI don't want to bother calling because I just don't have any more time to waste on this company In short, if I could rip this alarm system out of my walls and go with another company, ANY OTHER COMPANY would be betterLiterally any other companyI am kicking myself for choosing their year plan because all that means is that I am stuck dealing with these bs for another months Sadly, this came after doing an entire week of research and talking to different call agentsI put the time behind choosing this company and I still got screwedDon't make the same mistake I did - go with any security system besides ADTYou will be happy you did

Experience has been unprofessional I called ADT for an appointment for an alarm system, and was given a 6pm appointment for a sales person to come out and give me a quote on June 18th At 6:I was texted a picture of the high way by the sales person He then called me minutes later and said he needed to reschedule to Sunday Needless to say he quoted me as a monthly payment for the alarm system I declined I called back a the following month, and asked if they would honor the price and they stated they would However when I got the proposal they stated I didn't notice that it was higher Product_Or_Service: Alarm service

rep advised me bill would be when I called back it was I called at appx110pm central time on 5/to get an upgrade to my equipmenti was on the phone with the agent for almost minsshe offered me an equipment upgrade for which I did because we needed it but I know that was a rip offduring this time she quoted me a price of I had to call back and she assured me everything would be notated because it was a "pending" offerwhen I called back on 6/at around 1215pm the agent advised me that she did not see anything notated and the lowest she could do is this is more than we pay nowi know the calls are recorded and I need that first call listened toif I can not get the price the rep offered then I will have the ability to cancel with no cancellation fee due to information

ADT is no longer providing services listed in service agreement but is still charging me the same rate Services commenced with ADT 5/13/Shortly after, ADT made changes to their security and prevented certain aspects of their services unusable (ADT pulse app, and effectively the security cameras.) I have been a loyal customer of ADT for over years I have been paying quarterly services for a long time and the service hasn't been working properly This morning, I called again to report the problem and I was informed that I needed to upgrade system The rep told me that there was a promotion to upgrade the system and the all the old equipment will be replace for the whole house including smoke detectors The rep didn't explain to me how the new system will be install and work with the new upgrade system I just finished renovated my house and I don't any damage to my new wallsFurthermore, there was a mistake in the order due to rep only wrote one smoke detector and one sensor I called the headquarters and I spoke with another rep-lady in order to try to explain the problem and try to work with me but she was rude, didn't wat to work with me or grant me a discount for the smoke detectors I can't pay per smoke detector after paying service for over twenty years It is very unfair and bad business practice My house always been protected with ADT for so many years; now I don't feel that ADT cares a bout my well being and satisfaction as a loyal customer I will be filling a complaint to Revdex.com Sincerely, [redacted] Accountant

Failure to correct a problem created by ADT I have had ADT monitoring for many years In October, I discovered, by accident, that my alarm service had been discontinued In calling ADT, I eventually learned that a person named Patrica (I don't know who that is) cancelled my contract in July When my contract was cancelled, and my monitoring was discontinued, ADT gave me no notice of this change I thus went without monitoring, while away from home, for several months When, in October, I learned of the cancellation, I was told that they could reinstate the service I was not told, however, that I would have to commit to a new, long term contract I did, however, receive a confirmation of my order by e-mail Fortunately, I read the entire confirmation, including the small print From that, I learned that I would be commitying to a month contract, all for the sake of correcting ADT's own error When I called to object, they offered a month contract I cannot agr

The new ADT app Pulse is a complete failureIt hasn't been operational for over hours leaving many security systems only operable in person - stranding vacationers and mobile operators from their systems This has to be one of the worst roll outs of a new app ever ADT has to get it right before they put out an update especially with a security service appPeople rely on this and it can leave thousands of homes and businesses vulnerable Very poor implementation Customer in Los Angeles
