ADT failed to refund $canadin dolars from prepaid service I received a credit invoice from ADT Security Services Canada , INC XXX-XXth [redacted] 6** The invoice gives details about Contract Changes Refund fee from Jan to Feb The credit invoice total $ Invoice date Januray Invoice # XXXXXXXX Two calls were made to ADT head and I was told the value was to be credited to the credit card listed in the contrat weeks after the call was placed The due date for the refund was Feb and no amount was refunded

My father was visiting from out of town His alarm went off at 3am ADT called him and stated they would contact the local county sheriff's dept to check out the place The representative stated they will call him back and let him know if everything is alright I thought that was what the commercial said "Peace of Mind." Three hours later, no call no confirmation if there was a problem Finally my dad called, representative told him if he doesn't get a call back, all is good He wanted the phone number for the sheriff's department because he felt like no one calling him back is a bad sign They refused to give him the phone number for the local county sheriff's department Had he received a call stating the police went out and found nothing, he would have been fineHe asked to speak to a manager just to explain if the alarm goes off, he expects a call with a status good or bad The manager started interrupting him talking over him and stated that if they don't call back then nothing happened I got on the phone and stated I was his daughter she started talking loudly over meI told her to let me just say one sentence She kept talking and not listening to my statement I finally told her to pass [redacted] word to upper management that it would have been nice to get a good confirmation Just like when they get their check for services, they want to make sure the money is cleared We expect the same respect and courtesy I looked up the phone number for the county sheriff and hey were able to confirm they checked out the place and there was no disturbanceWhich ended well, but we had to confirm that ourselvesADT didn't seem to care we just needed to know after three hours

im relocating my job and customer service agent is stating that i'm still responsible for a contract when services isn't available in my area I been a customer with adt since I have recently got a promotion so my job is relocating and I called to see what I need to do to cancel the account due to services isn't available where im moving to all the agents where very rude so I asked for a manager from relocation department her name was Raquel customer service number XXXXXX she came on the line and never even verified who I was so I asked her why is a customer responsible for a etf when the services isnt avaible where the customer is moving, I proceeded to ask her how much will it be she told me and stated that I would have to speak with the billing department on the bill to see if they can work out anything and she placed me on hold again n asked me to verifiy my password that went on for mins I said ma'am I know my password is right come to find out she called me anothe

Their contract should be able to be voided You sign a contract that states 24/service and tech support and equip When you call saying equipment is malfuntioning, they tell you a tech can't come out to your home for days advertisement, they don't come out and service at a acceptable amount of time Customer sevice people are not very accomadating and have attitudes toward you the paying customer who they need to keep their jobs Rate ADT, I would give them a out of Don't sign a contract with them, you don't get the service you pay for

ADT is charging us a fee for discontinued services that we were put in "contract" that they merely updated and not upgraded We started with BRINKS SECURITY with contract that we have satisfiedThe company was bought by broadview then ADTAll the features of the original security remained the same (wireless, basic, doors chime, no window sensors)An agent came to our door and we were told that they just needed to UPDATE our systemThey changed the panels but still the basic manual operation, just different styleWe've been told that we are not under contract because nothing was UPGRADEDWe remained with this type of security system for yearsIt is when we decided to change company that we found out we were put under contract after that UPDATEWe decided to change because our system shut down but we didn't received any calls from them that we were disconnectedWe were dissatisfied with the service and answers we got when we inquired why there were no calls made to warn

Went with ADT for my business, I had my sales visit from reps prior to installSales people told me that the camera wires could be installed inside the walls and I would be able to have a camera for the exterior of my business Upon the arrival of the install tech I was surprised to find that the wires could NOT be installed through the walls and I could NOT have an exterior cameraas they were already installed upon my returnAfter months of phone calls and back and forth with corporate I just gave up on getting the item fixed because I don't have hours to spend on the phone every couple of days I recently sold the business and now they hit me with a $cancellation billI called yet again to explain that the business is sold and explained the trouble I had upon install and they refused to do anything more than reduce my final bill by $ Shady business, lying sales people and poor customer service

I have been satisfied with my service, however, response time when an alarm goes off is lacking! My daughter was visiting and had the alarm in "instant" mode while sleepingWhen I came home fromwork early one morning, she didn't disarm it timely so the alarm went off and I attempted to disarm it with the key FOB while my daughter put in the codeADT took approx minutes to call back to see if everything was OK! This is unacceptable! If it were a true emergency my daughter or I could have been robbed or killed!

I have been a loyal ADT customer for 10+ years (years current residence and 5+ years former residence) On multiple occassions, I contacted ADT to trouble shoot a problem I was having with my system, and requested a technician come out A tech showed up outside of the arranged window Last Saturday, I contacted ADT to cancel my service with the company After speaking with ***, a customer service rep, and [redacted] a customer service supervisor, I was told I'd have to pay $to cancel the contract because it renewed in May when I added a camera to my service after ADT sent me a free camera offer I ALREADY HAD SERVICE WITH ADT! WHY WOULD ADDING A TOOL TO EXISTING SERVICE RENEW THE CONTRACT? After 10+ years as a customer, I must pay $770? This is a SCAM, as well as poor customer service It's preposterous to think it's okay to charge this amount of money to cancel a contract I never requested be renewed, especially when I was not informed of this feeI AM INCREDIBLY DISAPPOINTED AND DONE WITH ADT!!!!!!!
