If you can possibly avoid it, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They make it as difficult as possible for the consumer. You CANNOT set up an automatic payment--as is possible with every other credit account I have--in order not to lose the promotion by accidentally paying late or not at all. Then they can hit you with a fee, which will cancel out any financial advantage you may have gleaned from the six-month, interest-free promotion. (This is what just happened to me.) They dangle the promotion like a juicy piece of meat in order to make their money on fees and exorbitant credit percentages. Then they cut customer service to a minimum in order to increase profits. For example, I just attempted to call them (online chat is NOT available on their website) but was never given an option to speak to a representative. I pushed zero anyway, and was transferred to wait in line for a rep. Then I received a recording that they were experiencing heavy call volume (probably always because of their unfair practices and low functionality of their website) and that I could push "2" to receive a call back, otherwise my wait time was unknown. I'm still waiting for that call. When I reach them some day in the vague future, I will ask them to waive a $27 fee I incurred because they are the only debtor that does not offer auto pay. I don't expect a wonderful response.

CFNA is the financial institution that covers [redacted] accountsI have been taking my cars to [redacted] for the past years or moreVery happy with their serviceTheir credit department, on the other hand, is poorly setup [redacted] prefers that you use their credit card to pay for your car repairsI have no problem with that - they want to save money, it's understoodHowever, THEIR SITE DOES NOT ALLOW FOR AUTOMATIC PAYMENTSYou must remember to pay the bill on the due dateIf you forget and are late, your credit score gets affectedYou, basically, are punished for being human - it's human to forgetThat's why automatic payments were inventedAll online credit institutions allow auto-pay setup, except CFNAThey either try to make a few extra bucks in late fees (which is a dirty way of making revenue) or they simply don't care about their customer experience

To Whom it May Concern,
I am writing in regards to late payments marked on my credit report from December to April for my closed account
I understand how important it is to make timely payments, and that failure to do so creates an inconvenience for youHowever, I missed my payments because I was unemployed due to a job layoff and no longer had income that would allow me to make timely payments Prior to this happening, I had great payment historyI am confident that this won’t happen again and I have taken steps to ensure my financial responsibility moving forward
As a courtesy, I am requesting that you make a goodwill adjustment and remove the late payments from my recordThis will help improve my credit worthiness and give me renewed confidence in being a customer in the future
Thank you for your consideration

Credit First has placed negative reportings on my credit report even though I paid off my credit account a long time ago

I'm a credit card holder of FirestoneMy payment is due on the 3rd of every monthafter reviewing some of my bills I noticed that I've been charged a late fee three timesThese payments were not late They were made on the 3rd at a Firestone Retail storeI was told by Firestone representatives that I could make my payment there and that as long as I made it by the 3rd it would not be considered late however Credit First National Association (CFNA) claims my payment is still late if they don't receive the payment by the 3rdI...disagree
I applied at Firestone for my credit cardFirestone is who works on my truck Firestone is the name on my credit cardFirestone is the name on my bill so if CFNA does not receive my payment by the 3rd --that's between them and FirestoneCFNA is not affiliated with me --I've had no personal contact with CFNA I made my agreements with Firestone If I make my payment on time to Firestone and they accept that payment as such--I'v

I think there's a scam happening at Credit First NA My payments arrive at their offices up to days before they post of my account, just after my due date Then the $late fee is applied......and eventually interest is charged Spoke to people in the call center after holding for minutes, got disconnected & redialed Ended up with a $credit - but I was charged late fees = $and $in interest You should look into this There are hundreds of complaints on the web I'll add mine....will take it to FB & Twitter while I'm at it I won't get my money back but I'll let folks know that something isn't right Tires Plus just lost a customer because they do business with Credit First

I have had a *** *** *** *** for about yearsI have always made my payments on the due date or before For the last months (June and July), *** has been charging my account late feesOn my June statement, I was charged a late fee and my minimum payment was increased to even though I made my payment on the due date On my July statement, I was charged a $late fee and once again I made my payment on the due dateMy minimum payment has increased to To make matters worse, I called and spoke with a rep on the due date of my July payment and express a concern that I was making a payment at 4:00pm, but it was scheduling my payment for the next date overI suspected that this is the same thing that happened with my June paymentI asked for a refund of the June late fee and I was only given a partial This is unacceptable and predatory lending I am an excellent customer with a great account and pay historyI also, make my payments on the

There has got to be something , someone can do aboht this business not answering their CLIENTS call for helpHorrible horrible service, do not use this company

I have an account with CFNA and I have been paying more than the minimum and on time I was using my debit account which has a routing and account number and can be used as a checking accountThe account was on file on the CFNA website and I have been using this form of payment since the account was opened In March I logged into my account, and the website refused to accept my payment It was advising the routing number was wrong When I called they said they will no longer accept this method of payment from my debit account They never emailed or sent paper correspondence to advise me of this The customer service is appalling Absolutely no regard for their customers They won't let you pay and then blame it on you

I recently recieved a letter in the mail from your company related to my accountI have for the past several.months been trying to make payments to my account and cannot because every time I call or even go online it is lockedEach time it gets unlocked, I cannot access my account to do a payment
I understand about the back pay that I owe of that would have been paid months ago if your online system and customer service representative would have assisted me properly, in which they did notI am doing the best I can to resolve this matter and everytime I do, nothing gets resolved
I am doing the best that I am able toI will have to do some kind of payment arrangement to take care of this matter

My credit card bill is due today 12/18/I went online to pay my bill and could not log in earlier in the dayI tried to log in again when I got off of work, and when I got in, the system did not offer today's date for me to pay my billThe earliest date that it would let me select is 12/I called on 12/at 5:pm and was on hold for more than minutesWhen I was finally able to speak to a customer service rep to try to pay the bill, I was told that it was too late for the payment to be accepted for today and I would be assessed a late feeI asked if the fee could possibly be waived, since I am still attempting to pay the bill on the day that it is dueI was told that it is not their policy to waive feesI have been a customer of *** for years, in spite of the fact that I am currently having my car fixed somewhere else because my oil filter housing was cracked during my last oil change at ***I feel that the least that could be done is to have the late fe

Consumer has had a credit card with the above company for monthsThere is a discrepancy of compounded interest and accrual of interestThe consumer had an original Line of Credit for $In June the credit line was increased to $The consumer states that he was charged excessive interest% was the bi-annual interest amountThe consumer was also charged 1.9% interest per month in addition to the bi-annual amountThe consumer was never informed about the 1.9% additional monthly interest chargeThe consumer has been charged 32% interest over the course of the months, when he adds it all upThe consumer was charged $According to the consumer's calculations he should have only been charged $249.32, which is a difference of $He has borrowed against the credit line and paid large portions of it backOver the course of these months the consumer calculated that he has been overcharged by $He would like his funds returned to him

I paid this credit card in full by the date due, emailed them to have the account closed and the card cancelled on Nov 2nd I received a reply that they had closed my account and then days later I received another statement with amounts due No one is returning my emails or phone calls No one answers the phone in customer service This company IMO, is shady I got this credit card which was for months no interest for tires I purchased at Firestone in Colorado It appears that now this is a revolving line of credit, which I did not sign up for I am not paying the interest for the revolving line, ,as the full amount was paid within months

I have had an account with them since 2012, I had no problems with them till I lost my whole wallet somewhere between Utah and California, no idea whereWhen I returned home back to Washington, I called after business hours and selected the option to report my card lostWithin 7- days I got my new card so I thought, until I went to use it and the merchant had to call in for authorizationI didn't think anything of it, because I had just lost my last cardThen I was looking on my account online, and realized it was the same numberBack in April 2017, I called customer service, wanting to know why they sent me the same number, the customer service guy I talked to that afternoon, told me they don't issue out new account numbersI was shocked, but the rep said if I sent information to validate who I was they could remove the blockWhy would I want that, the card was lostAfter to minutes on hold, they agreed to give me a new account numberThe first time I went to use the new card, the merchant had to call inWhen I got home I called them again and asked why a fraud block? That was the point of a new account numberA HUGH inconvienence to the cardmember and merchant Really you are a store card? My point is I should not have to be the one to ask for a new account number for a lost cardThis is company policy I get told today by customer serviceMy advice is don't loose your card

I've been giving them the correct address now for 3-months, I've even tried other addressesMy credit card never shows upResulting in my credit score going down because they are reporting that I'm not making any paymentsI was told specifically by them that if the card gets lost or here was a shipping issue, that it would not be reported on my credit score, nor would I be charged a late feeAlso I'm trying to call credit firstAnd the only number on their page for who I need to reach is a automatic answering machineI need to speak to a real human being not some robotWhen it answers it is asking for my digit account numberwell geez I still haven't even recieved my card yet, so therefore I don't have my digit account numberThat's the only option it gives youIt doesn't allow you to talk to a representative This is getting ridiculousI just want to make a payment on my tiresThat's itAnd for them to take the reports off of my credit score! I will file a compla

There was a mix up online and it showed a balance of zero We thought we were paid off back in October Everything was okay up until one of my credit report alerts was triggered and it showed up on my credit report for delinquent paymentWe have never missed a payment and made all of our payments online through their websiteImmediately after I found this out, I logged on and it showed that payment was delinquentI called the next business day, Monday November 20th and was transferred to the RECOVERY DEPTand spoke to GIAVANA in Cleveland OHShe saw I accessed my account and made the payment I asked her why I was never contacted I never got one email, one letter, one phone call stating I was delinquentShe told me someone tried to call me the week before I never got the call She looked into further and saw that no voice mail was leftShe apologized and waived the fees $and interest$from my accountI asked her what to do about the reporting to the credit a

I set up auto payments and changed the account it drew from mid way through the payments They continued to try to pull money from the previous account which was closed and then charged me cancelled check fees Then, I got on to make my last payment and pay the thing off and the website is down and the customer service hours are only til I work underground hours a day so I have to send a check in which I'm assuming they're going to charge me a late fee and jack my credit score Sorry excuse for a company

I am being harassed by Credit First for automotive repairs that were charged to a *** card that Credit First manages Earlier this year, I was encouraged to do preventive maintenance at ***, when I brought it in for an oil change I returned to have a belt replaced and a flush of the coolant When I left the garage, the car sounded worse than when I brought it in I recorded the awful engine noise on my phone immediately after the repair
I called ***, who said I should bring it back in I said that they better not tell me that it's a separate issue....At first they heard nothing ???? Until I drove it with them in the car and pointed it out - and they immediately identified it as the exhaust manifold - and then looked to see that it was leaking slightly It wasn't before I brought it in
I paid the first $on the charge (***, through Credit First) as a demonstration of good faith for the other work done on the car But now I have another repair th

I have been a customer with CFNA for over years with proof of great history (credit report)Recently, I forgot to make two monthly minimum payments due to signing up for online billingThat was a big mistakeCFNA’s emails went directly to spamInstead of calling me and notifying me of a late payment, they reported me to the credit bureau and ruined my creditA simple phone call or letter would have got the whole thing paid off along with fees I was willing to pay and a continued customerNo bank has ever treated me in such a terrible mannerI would highly suggest to stay away from this company!!!
