If you can possibly avoid it, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY They make it as difficult as possible for the consumer You CANNOT set up an automatic payment--as is possible with every other credit account I have--in order not to lose the promotion by accidentally paying late or not at all Then they can hit you with a fee, which will cancel out any financial advantage you may have gleaned from the six-month, interest-free promotion (This is what just happened to me.) They dangle the promotion like a juicy piece of meat in order to make their money on fees and exorbitant credit percentages Then they cut customer service to a minimum in order to increase profitsFor example, I just attempted to call them (online chat is NOT available on their website) but was never given an option to speak to a representative I pushed zero anyway, and was transferred to wait in line for a rep Then I received a recording that they were experiencing heavy call volume (probably always because of their unfair practices and low functionality of their website) and that I could push "2" to receive a call back, otherwise my wait time was unknown I'm still waiting for that call When I reach them some day in the vague future, I will ask them to waive a $fee I incurred because they are the only debtor that does not offer auto pay I don't expect a wonderful response

SCAMMERSSent Me an 'opt out' form for the state of Caso that my personal information won't be passed on to affiliates or used for marketingAs soon as I called the number to opt out they ask me for my "card number"Well, first of all - there is NO credit card named on this - no account number that is MINE that I"m dealing withHOW DO I KNOW which credit card(s) they handle? What is my account number? So then I try to go to the "customer service number" online - EVERY SINGLE NUMBER did not get me a person - calling within their business hours ALL DAY LONG, they say they are closedThen I called back and tried every single number for help on their menu - every single one answered that they are closedSCAMSCAMSCAM But - hey - they sent me an "opt out" form for california - its not MY fault that I have no idea what account they are talking about - this way they can use all my info for their own benefit and not be hit with class action lawsuit(s)

I cannot get a VALoan because CFNA is putting this horrendous, horrifying, and horrific miscarriage of justice on my credit fileThis is 100% identity theft and Credit First N.Ais pushing this negative narrativePlease protect me from these banditsIt is all about their BOTTOM LINE

I had my car serviced at *** * *** located on *** *** in Louisville, KY on 9/5/and they offered financing through CFNA The first payment wasn't due until 10/08/ However, I was warned by individuals present at the time that the interest rate was outrageous and it is important to pay it off within the limited time and to make sure not to miss a payment
With this in mind I started making payments on 9/19/that always exceeded the amount due, thinking that I was covering all of my bases, as you can see in my records below

I never received a statement form this credit card company that operates for Firestone they say that they sent it electronically but I don't recall signing up electronicallyThe only reason I noticed it was late is that I checked my credit reportThey never called or mailed me anythingI paid the account in full and now they are refusing to work with me on the derogatory credit reportingI de-enrolled in electronic statements and now every time I log in online it reminds me to sign up in a way that it seems like you cannot move forward

I received a call from Desiree at Credit First on 9/19/saying I needed to make my payment that was due 9/13/ I told her I had an emergency and would pay it I was so upset that I ask her why she was calling me with it being just a few days She accused me of being late paying August I told her that she did get her money I told her not to call me again Then her supervisor called and said that she was told to call me I didn't need to talk to her but Desiree told her that I didnt need her help I paid my July payment on the 20th and they charged me and August payment was made on the 11th I will pay Septon the 20th with another charge I am deaf because of Meniere's disease with sudden hearing loss and on disability I get my check about the 3rd week of the month and sometimes I am going to have to pay them after I get my disabilityShe was very rude and hateful This company is harassing me with calls and charges

I received a bill for my Firestone account that does not belong to me I contacted Credit First on Mayand spoke to Joshua at customer service He gave me phone number for the store where the bill originated and gave me a phone number to call them I spoke to Adam at that location on the same date He is in Dartmouth, MA He told me I would have to call customer service back and ask them to start a fraud investigation On 5/I finally reached customer service again and spoke to Laurel She told me she would enter my statement of refuted charge and it would be forwarded to the refute department who would contact me This is May and I have not heard from anyone I again contacted customer service and spoke to Shannon and was told he sees no updates and transferred me to the refute department The refute department was answered with an auto message saying the party was not available and they terminated the call

CFNA place in my credit report delinquency and fail to pay my bill I never received from CFNA an email or a letter that my bill past due I ended up knowing about the issues through the State of Colorado Credit Consumer Protection Bureau As soon as I was aware of the past due, it took me three days for a customer service personal to answer my call; once they answer I payed the bill with interest and late fees; I then asked why didn't I received an email like my other banks that I have where they send a reminders of a payment due There no satisfied responds from CFNA I then sent a formal letter to customer service to have those delinquent and late payments remove from my credit report, the request was denied

For the last three months I have been charged a late fee I go to company website and schedule a payment, for some reason they do not take it out I have emails from them when I make the payment but there is no confirmation number on them I have tried to explain this to the customer service, they will not even consider looking at the emails they sent me saying I have made a payment

I inadvertently paid this account in my bill pay which has a zero balance and hasn't been used in months and upon realizing I paid the wrong creditor reached out to my bank to see if the funds could be stopped or pulled back, my bank was very helpful and reached out to CFNA who requested a letter from my bank that the funds cleared my account and would not be returned, my bank obliged and sent letterI called CFNA days later and they said the letter wasn't signed, I called my bank back and they sent something else, I was told by CFNA that this time is wasn't what they neededSo I called a 3rd time and he pulled the 1st letter that was sent, signed and faxed it back and again being told this isn't sufficientThis was electronically paid from my account so if the funds weren't in my account my bank wouldn't have paid them and there is no way it can be returned as it isn't a checkCFNA is giving me the run around and will not return my funds until after 30-days which is totally unacceptable since this account has no balance and hasn't been used and they have been verbally told by my bank as well as the fax that the funds cleared electronicallyI also will add I held minutes to get a live person on the phone with CFNAThey obviously don't care about providing good customer experience!

I was offered Credit Card form the First Credit National Association, at the local ***, and was not given an acknowledgment form, then I found out that they had complete a hard core inquiry against my consent, which has impacted my Credit score

Went for years without any late payments on the account on my credit, all of a sudden it hit my creditI asked the lender if they could remove the negative trade line, they said it was accurateI might have had or late payments but they said I know I sent out payments online that were received as late, I sent the payments the same day or a day before the due date onlineI am not the only one who has had the same issue it's on the company's review

For a period of the last months, I have been using *** to pay my CFNA account with, along with my *** *** credit cards, my *** Credit account *** Financial and several other accts CFNA informed me when I tried to pay my bill, that they no longer accept *** and I would have to find another way to pay my account
I do not feel that they should be able to tell me who to bank with As long as they are getting their money, what business is it of theirs WHO I choose to do business with? They have threatened to turn my account over to collections, even though the payment isn't late, nor has it EVER been late! Just because I won't switch to another bank that'll charge me dollar overdraft fees and dollar per day fees if I can't cover it until my direct deposit posts I'll NOT be BULLIED into changing banks by CFNA or anybody else!
