I'm sorry that you have experienced issues with the vehicle that you just purchased As you know with any vehicle, anything can happen at any time When the safety inspection was complete, the items you say were faulty after purchase were seemingly o.k., however, after sitting on the lot
for an undetermined amount of time and after test drives things can change It is the customers responsibility to look the vehicle over or take it for a third party inspection to make sure they are purchasing a vehicle that they will be happy with If there was anything mechanically wrong with the vehicle while it was under a factory warranty, the vehicle would have to be taken to a Hyundai dealer If you take it to a non-Hyundai dealership they would charge you for any and all repairs needed The aftermarket warranty depending on the one you purchased may or may not cover your issues You should have received a brochure indicating what is a covered part and what is not If you feel that you don't want the warranty that you purchased, there is a free day look period, wherein 100% of the purchase price will be refunded.Please let me know how you would like to proceed.*** ***, Corporate Paralegal

I have reviewed your complaint with the Service Manager and he stated the following:Mr*** was last in for service on May 21st at 17,miles. I received a phone call from adealer in Madison sometime in august calming that his car was towed in and thedrain plug fell out of the oil pan,
causing the engine to be run for a periodof time without oilIn most circumstances vehicles with a drain plug thatisn’t put in all the way will leak immediately, or will come out fairlyquicklyIt has been nearly miles since his oil was last changedWe don’tbelieve it had anything to do with the service we provided based on time andthe mileage driven.I would be happy to obtain an estimate for replacement of the engine, however, without diagnosing the vehicle personally I would be unable to provide a detailed estimate. I'm sorry that you feel we sold you a vehicle that did not meet your standards You as the customer do have the right to take any vehicle you intend on purchasing to a third party mechanic for an inspection We do put each vehicle through a lengthy safety inspection, however, we do not
have a service history on most vehicles, so if the issue does not present itself during the inspection, we are not obligated to look further into a potential problem that the vehicle may experience The lemon law is only for brand new vehicles that have never been titled in any state The vehicle that you purchased was a used vehicle with no implied or stated warranty there are aftermarket warranties that you can purchase to help you with any future repairs.Nicole ***, *** ***

*** *** I have read the response given by the paralegal and it appears that she doesn't have all that factsI have enclosed a copy of the email in jpeg form so she should be able to view itFirst point: The email clearing state that the vehicle trim level in question is a Honda Pilot Touring AWD, not an EliteI made no mention of an Elite modelSecond point: The email from *** clearly that it would need to be a "Special Order" and that was what I expectedLast point: The email states that I would be given a discountClearing Russ Darrow Honda personnel will use any means necessary to get customers into their showroom including deceitI don't suspect that they are going to honor their word which at this point is findI just want others to know the kind of business practices are being use At Russ DarrowI'm not interested in purchasing a car their anymore

I would be unable to answer why the pads and rotors go so quickly on your vehicle. It may be the way your using the brakes, if your riding the brakes, if your driving with both feet and hovering the brake pedal. The products that we are using or original manufacturer parts, not aftermarket parts. I would call the manufacturer and open up a consumer affairs case and have their engineers answer your questions. *** ***, Corporate Paralegal

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]once again, I paid a total of $for these tires and was only credited back the EVEN RETURN of two of the tires for $Your company cost for the tires (per the invoice you provided me) is only $dollars which you got back a significantly higher percentage then the 50% cost of tires that was returned to meDespite multiple reassurances from the service department that I would be getting back 75% back for the first two tires in ADDITION TO THE EVEN RETURN of the two tiresI have paid full price for tires that lasted only a few months and have not received any refund or credit for themYou have also NOT provided me with the contact information for the warranty people of the tire company.

I have found the record and spoke with the selling dealership and ***. The vehicle was brought in over one year and 20,miles later. Time, miles and weather conditions absolutely played a roll in the issue. If there is any type of warranty, it would be through the
manufacturer. We sold the vehicle as is with no implied or stated warranty. If this would have been noticed or was a concern immediately after purchasing the vehicle, we would be having a different conversation.*** ***Corporate Paralegal
