A refund was completed and $was returned to you on 1/15/18.*** ***, Corporate Paralegal

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
It's not even about a receipt at this pointIt's the fact your entire business is unprofessional and unable to complete one small simple request without having to be called, emailed and finally taken to the Revdex.comFirst, if you do not do mail receipts than the lady in billing should of never stated that they doI wasn't the one to bring it upShe said she would mail me a receipt and never didAlso it's the fact I am still paying for a car I already paid for because you company not only "messed" up on my paperwork once but TWICE to the point they had to come to my work to have me sign papersI work with people all day long in the medical field and every time any conversation about cars comes up I am sure to tell people to stay as far away from Russ Darrow as possible

I'm sorry that you are having problems with your vehicle, however, you purchased a used vehicle with no implied or stated warranty by
the dealership. You opted to purchase the extended warranty on the vehicle. Not all items are covered under an extended warranty and thus Russ Darrow cannot be held liable for any issues relating to the vehicle that you purchased almost six months ago.Nicole P***, Corporate Paralegal

By you calling *** and cancelling the warranty, doesn't actually do anything for Russ Darrow. *** doesn't notify us of the cancellation. The 6-week time frame started from the time of cancellation, as you stated in your complaint. This is simply an estimate of time. With that being said, the check was mailed to you on yesterday's date. As a courtesy, we did not charge you a cancellation fee, which we are entitled to do.Nicole ***, *** ***

I'm sorry that you feel we used an illegal tactic to get you to the dealership. However, when we take a vehicle in on trade or buy a vehicle it is automatically entered into our inventory and dispersed to all of the online outlets, i.eour website, craigslist etc. The vehicle is
inspected and sometimes unbeknownst to our sales team, there is too much that is found wrong with the vehicle and it is sent to the auction. However, our auction units are still listed in our inventory until they are sold. So, again I apologize that you made an unnecessary trip to our dealership.*** ***, Corporate Paralegal

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 11913945, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
Your response, as vanilla as it is, is not acceptableIn this day and age of computers, you mean to tell me that the people who set up the appointments DO NOT have access to any information about the car other than it's available? You would think that they would at least be able to tell me if it was at least DRIVEABLEAnd this response would also be a bit more acceptable if, while reading through countless complaints against your dealership, I am not the only one who has had this issueYou would think that, since this seems to be a common complaint, you would do something to keep this from happening again, like giving your sales people at least the info of whether the car is functionalUnacceptablePlease try again

I am sorry that you feel we should give you another credit. We gave you more off of the new tires than we received from the warranty process. You have received all of the credits based on the last bill you were given that you paid.I gave you all of the information and am unsure how to explain it to you any differently. As stated, you can appeal the decision with the company directly and I also gave you all of that information as well.*** ***, Corporate Paralegal

Were you trying to use the original manufacturer warranty or the certified warranty for the repairs? Also, what was repaired? Please scan the invoice showing what Napelton did and what information they have from Kia showing that the claim was denied.Thank you,*** ***, Corporate
Paralegal

After reviewing your complaint and speaking with service personnel, we would like for you to bring the vehicle in for an inspection. While I understand we already gave you an estimate to fix the head gasket issue, I want to make sure that it was diagnosed as having a head gasket issue and not
that an estimate was just provided. Normally when a head gasket issues presents itself, there is a catastrophic failure that occurs as well. Because the system is so highly pressurized, there is either an internal or external problem that you would see residual effects from. Also, if there was a head gasket issue, you wouldn't have been able to drive the vehicle for months and 4k miles and continuously driving the vehicle. Please let me know when a convenient date would be for you to bring the vehicle in for a free of charge diagnosis. Please provide me with dates, just in case.Thank you, *** ***, Corporate Paralegal

I have reviewed this matter with all applicable parties along with the DOT Investigator that you filed a separate complaint with and respond as follows:At this point, I would like to extend an appointment at the Appleton Direct location at a time mutually convenient to all. Please ask her for
a date next week that she would be available to drop the vehicle off so that we may look at the following issues: Check to see where the grinding is coming from on the left front of the vehicle;Install the Simonez/Glass Coating on the vehicle (this is a front end product which is non-cancellable);Will have the “scratch guy” look at the scratch in question…if it is a simple fix that does not entail the body shop we will take care of. There is no indication in the file that there were any issues presented at the time of test drive or delivery that there were scratches that were concerning. We will install a set of floor mats. (With a used vehicle purchase, there may or may not be floor mats in the vehicles. We do not normally buy floor mats for vehicles that don’t have them.)*** ***, Corporate Paralegal

I'm sorry that you have been having issues with your vehicle. Russ Darrow has a policy that when a customer brings in a vehicle and would like anything looked at, they must sign a work order and agree to a diagnosis fee. If the customer refuses, we cannot look at the vehicle. Even
if the customer has had previous work done to the vehicle, we always get authorization for a diagnosis fee. The reason for this is simple, if the failure was not caused by a previously warrantied or worked on component, the customer is liable for this fee. If the diagnosis finds that the previous repair failed, then the diagnostic fee is routinely waived in many instances. While I know the service writer and the service manager were sympathetic to your situation, and we know mechanical issues are frustrating, there is a degree of professionalism that needs to be reciprocated by all involved. It is my understanding that you chose to take your vehicle and not return that day. Also, in reviewing the matter, we do not show that your wife came in for service on her wheels or tires.*** *** Corporate Paralegal

Good Morning,It is my understanding that you came into the dealership looking to finance a vehicle. You stated that you and your husband gave authorization for Russ Darrow to pull your credit by filling out and signing a credit application. Once that form is signed, Russ Darrow pulls the
credit resulting in a hard inquiry. Any bank that the application is submitted to is then notated on the credit report under the initial pull by Russ Darrow. Some banks then pull their own instead of utilizing the information that is sent along with your application, however, Russ Darrow has no authority to have those inquires removed. We can only remove our inquiry if there was not a permissible purpose for us to pull your credit. However, in your case, you gave authorization, so we cannot remove this from your record. The application is good for days, so if you are interested in purchasing a vehicle, I would suggest you purchase inside of that window so there is no other hard inquires needed in the near future*** ***, Corporate Paralegal

Thank you for taking the time and speaking with me last week on this matter. I will not need to send you any cancellation forms. I will cancel all policies at 100% with no cancellation charges being assessed. I will be sending the proceeds directly to you however, once you provide
me with the proof that the original loan was paid in full. You can respond to this complaint with the attachment or fax it to me at ###-###-####. Once I am in receipt of that information, you will receive the proceeds within 10-business days.*** ***, Corporate Paralegal

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint It's my understanding at all work has a 12-month warranty on it from Russ Darrow and, although I am outside of it, I wasn't far from it when I brought it to your attention

I'm sorry that you feel Russ Darrow did anything other than not provide a detail to your vehicle. I have already agreed to have your vehicle detailed at a third party and I will pay the bill. As for the windshield, we replaced the windshield with a standard windshield which is an
industry standard practice when the customer feels the dealership did something to the vehicle. As stated in previous forums, we do not take liability for the scratch that you say was in the windshield, but as a goodwill gesture I agreed to pay for the windshields replacement. No used vehicle would have a OEM windshield put in due to the costs. If the vehicle was brand new and something happened to it while it was still the property of the dealership, the insurance company would pay to have an OEM windshield put in because the vehicle has to be in new condition. Outside of that scenario, no dealership would pay times the cost to put in the same windshield. At this point, I will no longer be responding to any complaints based upon the social media schemer campaign that you have instituted against Russ Darrow. You have taken my words and skewed them in such away as to make it look like I am not an honest person and that I never tried to help you.I still stand behind paying for a detail on the vehicle to match what we should have done on the vehicle. Please send me the invoice for the same and I will promptly pay it.*** ***, Corporate Paralegal

I have forwarded your concern onto my service manager. I will have him look for the record, if there is one. With this type of a scenario there may not be a hard copy of the code at the time the vehicle was hooked to the machine. Even if a code came up it is not always
documented if we are unable to fix or resolve the issue. We would explain that you need to take the vehicle to a service station that services that make.*** ***, Corporate Paralegal

I will be unable to provide any relief for your situation. I understand that is not something that you want to hear, but the reality is we disclosed the vehicle within the law of the State of Wisconsin. *** ***, Corporate Paralegal

I have reviewed your complaint and the service records from your vehicle and do not see where Russ Darrow would be liable to provide any maintenance on your vehicle after the sale. You had an issue with the engine that the warranty paid for. All of the issues that have surfaced after
purchasing the vehicle would be your responsibility as this is maintenance on a used vehicle. The vehicle was sold as is with no implied or stated warranty. Nicole P***, Corporate Paralegal

Thank you for contacting us. I spoke with both individuals you mentioned and have been told that they did speak with you regarding the cancellation. The warranty had expired with coupons left unused a year and a half prior to the total loss of your vehicle. We will be unable to
cancel the warranty since it had already expired. As for giving you the oil and filters, we cannot do that as it would fall outside of our warranty policy. As a concession, I will extend one free oil change on any vehicle that you currently have. Please have the dealership contact me when you set the appointment and I will let them know that we will be providing this to you free of charge.*** ***, Corporate Paralegal###-###-####/direct
