Billed for a product I did not know I was going to be billed for on an ongoing basis. Nowhere did it expalin this

Purchased a face cream trail product on Nov. 14,2017 for $4.99 and on Nov. 27, 2017 I was charged $89.00 for some reason? I have never ordered anything further from this company, and to be best of my knowledge never agreed to ANY monthly subscription. We have filed a dispute with our credit card company and when I called their customer service line at 888.312.5212 they asked a ton of questions and said they could not find my account and could I give them my credit card number to look it up. I refused to give my number and she said there was no way to assist me further without it. This is when I contacted the Revdex.com.

Desired Outcome

Full refund and remove me from any further communication with this company

Thank you for the swift reply, full refund and canceling my auto ship/re-occurring order.

Cancelled service in November, received no refund for Nov. and am now being charged for Dec. 2017.
I called in November to cancel my service due to the cream causing breakouts and itching. I was told that they would cancel the service and issue a refund. I have not received that refund and called again today as they have now charged me for Dec. She said they have no record of my calling (not my fault) and so could not refund Nov. charges and would only give me a 50% refund for Dec. The representative, Tianna, refused to let me talk to anyone else about the issue.

Desired Outcome

I would like a full refund of Nov. and Dec. charges.

Amabella Allure advertises a free trial of their skin cream and eye serum but fraudulently charges you monthly for their product.
On 9/7/17, I signed up for a "free" trial of skin cream and eye serum as advertised on their website. The first dishonestly came when I signed up I had to pay shipping : $9.96 for shipping and I used my credit card for this. On the same night I received an email with a receipt for $ 9.96 from the company. it said my order number was ***. on my credit card statement I was charged on 9/7/17 $4.97 and on 9/10 17 $4.99. In approximately 3 weeks, I received a box with skin cream and eye serum in the mail. On 9/22/17 I was charged 89.92 and 89.95. I received no email receipt. Nor was there a receipt in the original box. Why was I charged? This was supposed to be a free trial. A month later I received a second box with the same eye cream and serum. I look back and see that I was charged for this second box on 10/22/17 for $94.91 and $94.92. I then received a 3rd box on and on November 22 I was charged again $94.91 and $94.21. I received no receipts by email for these charges . There were no receipts or explanation in the boxes. I called my credit card who asked me to call the company. They gave me the company number to call. I called them on November 30th saying that I would return all the items and I want my money back, that I did not sign up for this. They claim I clicked a box on the website that agreed to terms that state if I do not cancel in 14 days I am automatically signed up for a monthly subscription. This is not true. I did not agree to these terms. I have returned to the website and no where on the website can I see these terms. However you can see clearly that they offer a "free" trial. Please refer to http://amabellaskincare.com/
When I told the customer service rep that I disagreed, that I did not sign up for this and I want my money back, she said she would give me money back for the November 22nd billing. She said she would cancel my subscription today but that I am not able to send the cream back because they cannot resell it.She said I would not receive the rest of the money charged. I would like all but the shipping fee of $9.96 back. This is false advertising.

Desired Outcome

I would like a refund for the charges on my credit card of: 9/22/17 89.92 and 89.95, 10/22/17 94.91 and 94.92 and 11/22/17 94.91 and 94.92.I did not agree to these charges.

As previously stated, before customers commit to our 14 day free trial, our customers have to affirm and acknowledge the terms & conditions for our autoship program by marking the T&C check-boxes. We also provide our terms and conditions on each page of the ordering process for customer convenience.

We make it easy for our customers to contact us to cancel their subscription by providing our contact information on their order receipt, on our website and on the label of our products. Please let us know if you have any other questions, thank you.

We contacted them by phone to cancel subscription after trial period. Was charged a second time after cancelling.
We received the product for the trial period while we were away from home for 10 days. The next day, I noticed two charges of over $90.00 from Amabella Allure. I called the phone number which appeared on the bank charge for the two $90.00+ charges. I talked to a woman who finally told me that she would cancel the account going forward, but she couldn't refund me the Two charges. I reluctantly agreed with her IF she would cancel the account. She agreed to do so.

However, yesterday I noticed two more charges of over $90.00 in my bank account. I called them again and was transferred around about three times before I had to go to an appointment. I tried again today, and was transferred once and that person hung up on me. I called back twice more, and was hung up on each time. My husband (***) cancelled his card and received a new card with a different number.

We have never received a statement so we don't know what the account number is. The same for their address. The phone number I called was 888-312-9445 and they said it was a call center. That phone number appears on the labels of the product.

Desired Outcome

Refund for last charges in the amount of $94.91 and $94.92 + $40.00 in overdraft fees because of monies taken out of our account for a total of $229.83. Also a shutdown of the business because of fraudulent charges to consumers.

They charged $176.87 for a trial product that was offered for shipping and handling cost of $9.96. They canceled the website I ordered the product from and it does not provide any return shipping address. When I called the number the representative would not give me a return address. I should have read your reviews prior to purchasing my " free trial" which now has resulted in a $90 recurring charge which I am now disputing. Customer service is extremely rude and I give them an F-. This is total theft.

Returned product. Continue to mail additional products and charge my account.

Unauthorized charge of $19.93 from my checking account for a magazine that I did not order.
Refusing to refund my money. I did not receive the magazin
I ordered two face creams from Amabella. On 8/28/17 $19.93 was withdrawn from my checking account for an Amabella health magazine. I did not order that magazine. On 9/1/17 I cancelled the two face cream orders and demanded a full refund for the creams and the magazine - totaling $29.90. On 9/29/17 I called Amabella and was told I would be refunded $9.96 for the creams but I had to telephone a different number for the magazine refund. I eventually received the $9.96 refund but no refund for the magazine. When I contacted the magazine number XXX-XXX-XXXX on I was given the refund *** and was told the check for $19.93 was processed on 10/23 and would be mailed to me. On 11/22/17 I again called the 888-312-9445 number and was told that I needed to call the XXX-XXX-XXXX number. I have called this company on 8/28/17, 9/1/17, 9/29/17, 11/6/17, 11/22/17. Each time I called I was told the check for $19.93 was in the mail. I feel that this is a scam as I never ordered the magazine, nor did I ever receive the magazine. This company has stalled and stalled by promising the check is being processed, the check is in the mail, the $19.93 is being refunded to my bank, etc. I am no longer willing to try to deal with this company. I'm hoping you can help. I'm a single 75 year old woman on fixed income and can't afford this magazine cost of $19.93. Can you help me?

Desired Outcome

I want my refund of $19.93.

Customer Response

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This fraudulent magazine subscription was offered on the AmaBella ordered page when I ordered the two face creams. The magazine subscription offer was on the page where I filled in my Visa card info to pay for the face creams. I saw the subscription there but did not order it. The three charges showed up on my bank account statement all in a row as:
8/28/17 purchase authorized on 8/25 Kings-Strength Cam XXX-XXXXXXX CA SXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX $19.93
8/28/17 Purchase authorized on 8/25 8888686305 Serum 888-8686305 NC SXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX $4.97
8/28/17 Purchase authorized on 8/25 Piskin Cream 877-982-5253 CO SXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX $4.99

I called the AmaBella phone number to cancel order on 9/1/17. I received a refund for both creams of $4.97 and $4.99. I did not receive a refund for the magazine of $19.93. I called the AmaBella number and was told that they were not authorized to refund the magazine but that I should call XXX-XXX-XXXX. I have called that number numerous times. They can never find my order until I ask to speak to a supervisor. Then surprise, surprise they can find the order all of a sudden. They tell me the refund has been submitted and then nothing happens. Tonight I called that number again and they couldn't find the number. I asked to speak to a supervisor and they hung up on me.
If you call the AmaBella phone number 888-868-6305 or XXX-XXX-they will tell you they can't authorize the $19.93 magazine refund but they will give you the magazine number for refund XXX-XXX-XXXX. When you call that number they give you a hard time and tell you that the refund has been ordered or has gone out or they hang up on you. This is a magazine scam.
Please help me.
Thank you.

Please note our company only sells skin care products and will not be able to assist with any magazines the customer has been charged for. We encourage the customer to contact the company they are requesting refunds from as we are unable to provide refunds for charges we did not place against their card. Thank you for understanding.

I placed an order for what I thought was a sample of their Amabella Allure moisturizer for $5.00 and was forced to also order their eye serum for another $5.00 since it was impossible to complete the order otherwise. Today, almost a month later, my account is being charged for $89.92!!!!! When I called and spoke with someone at the company, they informed me that the $5.00 was only for shipping and handling although there was nothing anywhere that mentioned that I would be charged later for the $89.92. When I told her that the items were unopened and that I would just ship them back, she informed me that I would still be charged the full amount. Today is Saturday, so on Monday I plan on contacting my bank and disputing the charges. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!

BEWARE! This is a total SCAM! I placed an order for a trial to pay only S&H. Next thing I know, there are two charges on my CC for $89.95 and $89.92. Do not fall for their 14-day trial SCAM. Their customer service people are worthless, and hang up when you press them for a refund. They don't even have an address to return product.

Like many others, I fell for this as well. I went to their website that gives no information about the company and ordered the Trial Samples and was charged the reoccuring monthly fees that I did not authorize for $94.91 and $94.92 for the last 3 months. Found their contact number from here. Little did I know that I was also charged $19.93 for an e-book that I've never heard of, "Conviction Workout" Tel: 888-587-5701. I was only able to figure out that this charge was related to Amabella Allure because I had called to cancel the "Conviction Workout" ebook and the customer service person asked if I was cancelling Amabella. So, three charges that I had not authorized. I had already called my credit card company to cancel my card and process it as a lost card and send a new number.

This company is a scam. you don't have 2 weeks to try the product, you have two weeks from the date you order it. Do not buy from this company -they are not ethical.

I ordered and paid for a SAMPLE of their product, I emailed them to say I was dissatisfied and wanted to cancel. Today I was charged $89+ on my card
I ordered and paid for a trial sample, I was not happy with my trial so I emailed the company, so that I would have written proof of cancelling with them on 11/12/17 approx 4 days after I received my order. Today is 11/20/17 and I found a charge of $89.92 on my credit card. I called Amabella's customer service and stated that I had sent an email cancelling my order, they said they responded to my email and I was told to call them so that they could get my review on their product. What a bunch of ***, why do I have to call them? I have not received any other product from them and have written proof that I cancelled my order within the time frame (14 days). I want them to refund my full amount.

Desired Outcome

I want the $89.92 refunded back on my credit card that they took out that I did not authorize. I want nothing further from this company other than that.

This company lies about what they will do and are out to bilk the public. Talked to rep Jessica and she gave a 50% off and would send two free months and then start billing $22.48. This would be for the moisturizer only since I told her I did not need the eye serum. I then received two boxes of both the eye serum and the moisturizer and a charge on my credit card of over $89. When I called I was told by Mike that Jessica had cancelled my account, but sent out the two orders. I was so angry...lied to and now being patronized and lied to. I told them I would send brackets the product but they said that I could not. Now I made a point of looking at the point of sale for any mention of membership and would not have ordered if I had, must have been in very, very small print. Do not deal with this company, they are crooks and liars!

This is a complete scam and I am extremely irate! No where on my original order did it state that I was enrolling into a monthly subscription for this product. I was offered to pay shipping and handling to TRY the product, which is the only thing I wanted to do! I received 1 skin cream and 1 eye serum and now I have been enrolled in something that is charging me $94.91 on my credit card each month. I should have never been charged anything more than the shipping and handling of $9.96 for the 2 products I received. I don't even know how this is acceptable business. How can my credit card be charged continuously for trial products and then receive nothing more from the company? I will be sure to make others aware of this scam and advise not to TRY this product! As of today, I have cancelled this twice and hope that I do not have to cancel this again.

It was horrible that this ended up being a money scam. I actually loved the product and would have ordered more, if I hadn't found out they were taking money from my account twice a month. By the time I caught on, I was out more than $400. Buyer beware!! Read the ultra fine print, I had to close my checking account so they would stop withdrawing money from it.

Scam and they charge your card before the 14 day trial is up with no warning.
Ordered product 10/31/17 received the product Nov 7th supposed to be 14 day trial period. Two charges hit my card November 15th, when I called they said that the trail period was up. I have only had the product for 8 days how can this be a 14 day trial when you have the product yet. When I called they were adamant about not giving a refund I finally persisted and they gave me a 35% refund. This is bologna it should be a 100% refund. I am not satisfied with the product I was quite clear about it. They said the 14 day trial starts the day of the order, which again how can it be a 14 day trial then. They need to be fined and put out of business. I am going to contact my financial institution and tell them I dispute the charges. I kept all the paperwork so I can prove everything. Bunch of scam artists, do NOT order this ***.

Desired Outcome

Full refund, I do not want any free anything from them their product is horrible anyways. Does not feel right on my face and and bunches up into particles when you put the eye serum on.

The company did email me yesterday to disclose they were refunding the remainder of the money that they captured from my credit card. I am satisfied with this response, but still do not agree with the 14 day trail period. The trail period should begin when the product is received, not ordered. How can you try something you are not in possession of? As for me I will not be ordering the product in the future as I did have problems with the way it balled up when applying it to my face. I do, however appreciate that they did honor my feelings and gave me the full refund.

Charging credit card without permission, claiming they sent email confirmations but did NOT, no refunds on products that I never ordered.

Refund of the charges on my card

Billed for goods I did not know I was going to be billed for on an ongoing basis for a face and eye cream
When I ordered the product, it was not clear AT ALL that I was signing up to receive the products monthly at a cost of $89.92 and $89.95 for a face and eye cream. This is extortion and I am very unhappy about this. I have an ailing mother I take care of and these funds could have been used for her. I am truly disgusted at this companies business practice. When I called them to complain on ***, I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was told I signed up for the on going service and nothing could be done now. This company clearly makes their money from conning people into their products.

Desired Outcome

They need to make it clear to consumers what they are signing up for. I also want to be 100% sure that my service was cancelled.
