Too many games
I had used this service in the past and they were expensive but good. I called again due to a gurgling in my toilet when the washing machine was running. Two young, courteous men came to diagnose. I paid the fee for them showing up. They informed me there was a clog in my main line and that it would be a particular price to pull the toilet and snake the main drain. The price was high, but the young man told me I could pull the toilet myself they would show us how and that would knock the quoted price down to half. I was concerned about putting it back on, they told us not to worry they would provide the seal we needed and show us how to do it. (This was on a Friday) They said they would return on Monday and we would be their first appointment at 8:15 am. Well 9am arrived and they did not come. I called the office to find out what was going on and they assured me I was on the schedule for that day but could not tell me what time. A manager later called me to tell me that the guys in the field should not state times etc and apologized for the misunderstanding and assured me someone would be at my house that afternoon. I was ok with that. Well when the guy got there that afternoon it was quite a shock and a whole different story. I filled him in on what was discussed with the prior techs and that I noticed debris coming from the septic vent. He said he had to make some phone calls and would get back to me. Well, despite us taking off the toilet the quote he came back with was 2x what we were originally quoted without taking the toilet off. I said no good. He went back to make another phone call after a few minutes I asked him to have a manager call me. The tech advised that they would check the septic pipe and try and clear it but could not garuantee that would solve the issue but would have to pay still more than I was quoted originally for the attempt. I said no it was still more. The tech did try to offer to do it for what I was originally quoted to which I decided I was just done with them, my trust was already eroded. I don't want to throw a sizeable amount of money with no promise of results and given the shenanigans already I was not willing to gamble. I don't like the way this business was handled and throwing copious amounts of money at something they could not even promise to fix, just felt like a game I did not want to play. They did provide me the wax seal and bolts since I took the toilet off for no reason. But my septic guy is doing it for one tenth of the price of their highest quote. Although they were kind and courteous, I am sorry but the misdiagnosis, the pricing games, the failure to show up when promised has just left a bad taste with me (not to mention dealing with the delays and having to live with the smell). Sorry its not Hello Aiello, it is Good bye. I am willing to pay a reasonably higher price for good quality service, but in this case (although they were very pleasant to speak to) it was neither. Very disappointing.

Professional, hardworking and dedicated are words I use to describe my interactions with this company, especially the two technicians that came to my house yesterday, one of them being Jesse C Would definitely recommend to others in the future

The Energy Audit service provided by Jason M and his team was excellent They were very professional and thorough We were very pleased with the work done in our house

Our central air system failed on a Saturday afternoon (tempdegrees)The earlies a technician could be sent was Wedafternoon, due to high volume of repair callsI made appt I also checked other services, but none could come earlierOn arrival the technician checked system and in a timely manner diagnosed the failureI was given the estimate on a tablet and I okayed the repairThe replacement part had to be delivered from another storehouseHe doesn't know this, but I overheard the technician on his phone outside and I appreciated that he refused to leave for another repair call and return after part was delivered and other job was completedHe told the dispatcher he could not leave this customer hanging if the other job turned out to be bigAfter part arrived minutes later, he replaced it and ensured system was running properlyI paid by check and got a receipt via my emailI liked that the technician was conscientious about my family and home with a week long heat wave starting the next dayI liked the use of technology via tablet and internet for the estimate, billing, and payment - all quick and efficientThe entire visit lasted less than 1/hoursI was happy the my AC system was running better than before when the temp outside hit degrees the next dayI felt the estimate for the part was somewhat high; but considering what it took to acquire the part, the consideration I was afforded by the tech, the quality of the work, and the efficiency of the whole process I am very happy I called AielloI have since made an apptfor an entire system check and will be doing so every year going forward

Aiello not only offers a wide range of repair, maintenance and installation services (from heating to air conditioning, to electrical and plumbing) but does so on an as-needed basis (24/7) and with contractual partnershipsTheir work is both timely and professional, and always backed by their warrantyI would highly recommend them without question

I had my furnace cleaned by Tom S [redacted] a service specialist from AielloHe did a great job , left the area clean and gave me good advice about the condition and what needed to be done in the futureI thought he did more than his job to help me out

I have had an account with Aiello for four years, and my parents had an account with them for as far back as I can rememberThey have always been prompt, courteous, and reasonably pricedTom Swas at my house today to resolve an issue with my whole house A/CIt's a complex setup, including zones, heat pump, and automatic switchover to a boilerHe figured out the problem pretty quickly, fixed it, made some recommendations on reducing the chance of another service callI would highly recommend both Aiello, and Tom

Called and scheduled an appointment for the next dayMy furnace was making this grinding sound that was impossible to ignore Tom was punctual and very respectful of my homeHe answered all my technical questions in a matter that I was easily able to understandFixed the problem promptly and even sat down with me to discuss what was needed to be doneHe even took the time to show me a brochure with different plans that would help me with different services I'm sure to need in the near futureI've been a customer for years and Aiello has never given a cause to be unhappyThey are efficient, courteous and very accommodating

Technicians did a wonderful job! Explained everything & cleaned up after themselves

The service provided was to re-set a toilet using a new seal The work was completed as expected However, the fee charged for the service was much greater than it should have been ( $+ a $service call fee) because 1) the on-site time required was less than hour and 2) the parts required to complete the re-setting cost less than $retail

Do not ever call these people They will come out and do the job but it will cost you your retirement savings They came to my house on 11/23/to clear a clogged pipeThe tech was very pleasant and did the job well, but the bill was over $1, All he did was remove the toilet, clear the clog, then put the toilet backReally people, I'm a single Mom and there will be no Christmas this year

When the service call was booked with [redacted] on 8/2/17, he was informed and agreed to a $service call charge Thiis is the amount Aiello Home Services charges to send a service technician to a home to perform service Upon arrival and before the technician began he had [redacted] sign the authorization to begin work and agreeing to the $service call The technician then informed [redacted] that he would need to perform a diagnostic on the system to determine the problem and that there is a charge of $to perform the necessary diagnostics He also informed [redacted] that he would waive the diagnostic charge if she would be going ahead with the repair MrsAgreed to this charge After diagnosing the problem, the technician informed [redacted] that the problem was with the primary control and it would cost $plus tax to make the repair [redacted] agreed to the charge for the repair The technician deleted the diagnostic charge from his IPad, substituted the cost of the job to replace the primary control and had [redacted] sign the authorization to commence the work When he was complete, he had [redacted] sign again that the work was complete and authorizing payment.On 8/3/ [redacted] spoke to Aiello Home Services' service manager Due the confusion between the terms, "service call" and "diagnostic fee" our service manager agreed to refund the $service call [redacted] was very pleased with this result.The refund was issued 8/3/ This matter has been resolved.Stephen F [redacted] HVAC Service Manager

To Whom It May Concern: On October 30, a representative from Aiello Home Services’ plumbing department was dispatched to [redacted] ***, [redacted] , the home of [redacted] Mrs [redacted] was quoted a $ dispatch fee over the phone and was informed that there would be an additional charge given upfront for the work that needed to be done The quote was given before any work was performed and was accepted by said homeowner The task at hand was snaking the master bathroom toilet This task was performed successfully and the technician received payment at that time of the service Mrs [redacted] chose to go directly to RevDex.com to file a complaint instead of calling Aiello Home Services management to discuss the price concern After being notified of the complaint, the Plumbing Service Manager has tried contacting Mrs [redacted] as on the following dates: 11/2/@ 12:p.mand 11/3/@ 12: p.m with no responseUpon finally reaching the customer Aiello Home Services and customer agreed on a discounted price although she had previously agreed to itCustomer is satisfied with our resolution and will notify Revdex.com to that, and will also notify Revdex.com that she filed a complaint before contacting usAiello did not even know she had a concern, if we had, we would have worked to resolve it amicably

Mike and Dan arrived within the time widow, worked efficiently, were neat and clean and worked quickly Equally important, they were friendly, a pleasure to have in our home and respectful of out needs Before the work began, we were made aware of the scope and cost of the water heater replacement As they progressed every effort was made to keep us informed as to what they were doing and why All in all it was a very positive experience, thanks to Mike and Dan

James F [redacted] advised us to replace one of our toilets He was able to do the replacement on his initial service call Did an excellent job We have very old tiles in our bathroom, and he managed to remove old and install new toilet without breaking any He left our bathroom cleaner than when he started!!! Courteous and professional, he instilled confidence in his abilities We will be requesting him for future plumbing jobs
