[redacted] The fact that they left my things in the basement of  the house and I live on the 2nd floor and had to move the things from the basement to the 2nd floor myself.  And I told the men that I did not have bed bugs and the others who help move the rest of my things did not see bed bugs.   I don't feel that they completed the job I pay them for.  I told them when I got the that the items went to the 2nd floor.  I just feel they didn't want to do the job because it was Christmas Eve and it was cold and rainy.   Just give me would I ask for 1/2 of my money back.  I am not happy. with their work.

We have addressed all concerns, which is why we offered you a settlement amount. I cannot give you a full refund, and you reject what I offer, lets meet in the middle and get this resolved.

We feel that the move should have been completed in around 8 hours.  That is how long a different moving company last year with a crew of 3 took to complete our move.   The reason this crew did not finish was due, as we stated earlier, to lack of strength and energy, maybe if they wouldn't have shown up hungover, which the driver admitted to,  making personal phone calls and taking multiple long cigarette breaks.  The whole reason we contacted the corporate office in the first place, was due to the lack of professionalism and disrespect that we received from the operations manager at the local branch.  We also submitted an email with pictures and detailed descriptions of damage to our property to both local and corporate offices.

Ms. [redacted], Your shipment was packed in the same manner as we would pack any other truck. The difference being, would we have been packing our own truck, we would have had the proper equipment to restrain the shipment as well as thicker quilt pads to protect the shipment. Being it was not our truck, we cannot stand to lose such expensive equipment. Without the proper strapping the shipment stands a great chance of shifting; hence your pictures. Many of the boxes in your pictures are not boxes we packed. Therefore, not only are we not able to verify their contents, but we are not able to verify that they were packed properly. (Equal weight distribution, fully packed, extra paper packing to fill empty spots to maintain integrity, etc.) When we packed your truck, we did so in a professional manner. As for the weight of items, many times that is irrelevant. You cite a 50- 75 lb. bike as being on top of your shipment; however a standard 4.5 cu ft. box can easily run 65 lbs. your shipment was roughly 30,000lbs. If every item over 50 lbs. were to be placed on the bottom, you would have had to use many more containers. It is not reasonable. Additionally, it is not unreasonable to stack items of 50 lbs. or more. As for the placement of the bike in the picture, we would not have placed it on top of your refrigerator. Unfortunately, without the proper equipment items do shift in transit. I deeply regret any issues you might have, but as we packed your shipment to the best of our ability, in a professional manner, consistent with a load of your nature, I cannot accept liability. Again, once we are no longer in care of your goods, we cannot hold ourselves responsible. Had we contract [redacted] to transport your goods, this would most likely be a different conversation. I see there is a lot of emotion regarding your move with us. Again, I apologize that we did not meet your expectations during your relocation with us. What is it that you want?

offered to reimburse me 20%. I find it offensive that they think that would rectify the situation after what I went through, not only with regard to the main issue, the drivers smoking marijuana and then thinking it's okay to unload the truck, high. But then also what I went through with the driver who I observed throw at least 2 pieces of furniture around my house because he was angry.  I requested full reimbursement for my aggravation and the way I was blatantly disrespected.  I chose not to make this situation worse for All My Sons by not calling the police while All My Sons was driving while intoxicated.  I am again demanding full reimbursement.

We would like to offer the customer the total cost of the move to settle this claim.

We are cannot offer an entire refund of the move when services were rendered. We are offering over half of the cost of the move, I think this is great middle ground and shows we are demonstrating customer service. We were scheduled to be moved 11 miles by six men and two trucks at $350/hr on 8/17/2016 and five arrived. A half hour was wasted by two of the leaders trying to use electronic billing and later had to use paper. Our old home had paint badly scratched moving out; but that was the least of our problems. We had a steel astrolabe broken; a antique steel Venetian lamp broken; a mattress punctured; a bed frame chipped; our bed frame abraded; a leg broken off an antique chest; a carved antique daybed chipped, dirty handprints of silk upholstery and handprints on mirrors and windows in our new house. My opinion is that they didn't know how to pack a load. The leaders finished and drove off without offering us an inspection of the empty trucks. We would have been far better served to have used [redacted] and done it ourself.

This Revdex.com case will not be closed until All My Sons has reviewed my claim and has acted accordingly. It took them almost 2 months to get me the correct phone number to make the complaint so at this point I do not trust the outcome. Also, the man that came out to fix my damaged walls at my new house, although he did a great job, he is the brother in law of [redacted] and he cannot fix the damages I have. I asked him about it when he came by to repair the walls. As far as a contract, I NEVER SIGNED ONE! I actually have my original estimate from [redacted] before he quit and no one ever followed through. I have it UN SIGNED. And even if I signed a contract, I would never sign something that said I assume all damages caused by All My Sons irresponsible and untrained staff would be my responsibility. On the day of the move, I had 4 men in my house and was told to sign the slip for the credit card charge. I had the manager of All My Sons, [redacted], on the phone at the time and I asked him if he would be taking care of the damages even though I am signing to have the movers be done. (I did not want to wait with these 4 men in my house while [redacted] was on his way) [redacted] told me he would take care of it and not to worry. He was on his way to see all the damage at my new house. He had already been to my old house to see all the damage.

The sooner this company sends me the information to file a claim, the sooner they will have documentation. I have waited 2 months now to file a claim. I am STILL waiting. They have the address and my phone number so that they may send me the details on filing a claim.
