Review: I was rear-ended by one their insured drivers who left the scene of the accident, hit and run. I found the bumper off their car, which had the license plate still on it, took it to the CHP office in Dublin and filled out the police report. The CHP sent an officer to the insured's house and they confessed to hitting my car but also lied and said that another car had hit them from behind which pushed them into me, and also said that the other mystery car did a hit and run and they tried to chase it but couldn't catch it. All lies. The traffic was almost at a stand still because of multiple collisions which caused a lot of chains reaction crashes. I waited at the bottom of the hill where you could pull over on the shoulder and I waited for 45 minutes for the car that hit me to come down and meet up with us but somehow they slipped past us and escaped. Luckily I found their bumper that had been thrown over the guardrail and it still had the plate on it. Now this insurance company is standing behind their insured's lies and won't pay for my car to be fixed because it's not their fault. I waited on the shoulder, I found the bumper, I took it to the police station, I filled out the police report, the police got the statement from them 2 weeks after it happened, and yet this lousy insurance company is not going to pay because they believe their customer over me. Totally outrages.Desired Settlement: I need this insurance company to fix my car and do what is right.

Review: 10211457I am rejecting this response because: Alliance United Insurance is standing behind their customers lies so that they will not have to pay a claim. Period. Your internet Yelp ratings are full of people complaining about your companies unwillingness to pay for many claims, both from your own customers and people your customers have hit. Your client is the one who "hit and run" and they didn't file a claim with the police that they were hit, I filed the claim, I found the bumper off your insured's car with the license plate still on it, and it took the CHP officer to go to their house and get their story. They didn't do it on their own. I did all of it. Your company should be held in contempt of court for the way you do business and your license to do business in California should be revoked. Hello Revdex.com, I do not accept this response, I have been assigned two Adjusters the first one called me a criminal and the second one made up a story about the Shop Yard owner not cooperating and also told me that they did not get to work on my car, The owner of the shop called me two days ago and told me that Alliance Insurance was there for three-four hours working on my car two weeks ago I wasn't told anything about them working on my car, Alliance also asked the shop owner for some tools and the shop owner told him that the tools from the shot are not to be lend out unless the shop is working on the car themselves I don't think that was a reason for Mr. T[redacted]t to Write to me and CC Santa Barbara and say that the owner didn't cooperate. After being called a Criminal and T[redacted]t (Adjuster) Making up stories about my claim, I don't feel like this people is trying to resolve my claim I don't feel safe in what there are doing to me. They already have Two underoath recordings they made me do over the phone and they also send me a bunch of documents to be filled out under-oath and I completed and send it back, now they wan't me to deal with a third party who asking me to do everything all over again, I have to return the rental car because T[redacted]t told me that they are not covering rental charges. I told you last Monday that I'm available all week this week to meet with you regarding your appointment and you told me that you are not available all this week. I was not aware about you guys messing with my car I just find out this week from the yeard owner and for this reason I don't think you guys are cooperating with me after I've been cooperating with you all. Review: My insurance broker closed their office permanently so I called up alliance to change some information on my auto insurance. They told me that they could not do it but I would have to go through an agent or broker but every agent or broker they referred me to would not help me because I did not go through them to get the insurance. I was told I would have to wait till February when my policy comes up for renewal. Not happy. Review: On August 22, 2015 a guy backed into my car while parked. The insurance information he gave me was Alliance United. We were in Palmdale, Ca. at the time of the accident. I contacted the insurance and they came out swiftly to inspect my car damage. Without a estimate they sent me a check for $460, which I returned back to Alliance United explaining I hadn't gotten a estimate, how can you send a check. I put my car in the shop November 2, 2015. It took Alliance a week to inspect the car because there was more damage than it looked. Evidently the person came out to inspect and car because they got the go ahead to fix it. The car was finished 2 weeks ago but it sits waiting for Alliance to pay for the repair. I've had a rental car for over 30 days waiting for a minor damage repair job to get fixed then paid for. When will this end. The Adjuster doesn't respond to calls. Today I contacted Alliance and they left a message for the Adjuster to call me. M[redacted] @ ###-###-####. How long will this go on. I want my car back and want Alliance United to pay for my car and car rental. Review: My car was stolen on the 28th of August and my car insurance is still not supporting me and giving me the customer service that's needed. Every since my car been stolen I been contacting them asking for updates and how the process is going. They seem to not care about my car which I only had for 4 months before it was stolen. I'm still making payments on the car and they seem as if they are not going to reimburse on my deposit I put down on the car and plus my personal items which I had in the car when it was stolen.Desired Settlement: I would like this claim to be completed and I would like a deposit returned so I can get the same car I had which I worked hard to get in the first place. About 6 months ago through an insurance broker, Adriana's Insurance, I purchased full coverage auto insurance from Alliance United for my brand new, financed 2013 Ford Fiesta. Having my car be financed, I was obligated to purchace full coverage. About a month ago I was in a car accident on 10/28/2013. At the time I was on my way to work along with my boyfriend, the driver, and hit another driver from the rear. Nothing happened thankfully to the other driver but my car I believe is totalled. I contacted Alliance and made my claim and since then I have had little communication with them. My adjuster, Angelica Nevarez never answers her phone when I call. I leave messages and I get no replies. I received two letters saying that they will not be providing coverage because I was not the driver. My boyfriend is a licensed driver. When I made my statement she asked for a copy of his license emailed to her which I sent for investigating purposes. About a week later with no contact my boyfriend called her asking why there will be no coverage if I pay monthly payments for full coverage. She then said, they were still investigating the claim. After they ha already made their decision.Then she went on to tell him that they were only going to pay liability and the state minimum for my car. I do not pay for only liability, if I did my rates should have beenalot cheaper. I pay for Full Coverage. I feel ignored and wrongly rejected by Alliance. They are responsible to cover the cost of my car. I have been waiting a month now for them to own up, but the lack of costumer service is delaying the process. When Ms. [redacted] purchased her policy with Alliance United Insurance Company she opted to receive a discount for named operator endorsement. This endorsement states that only drivers listed on the declarations page will receive comprehensive and collision coverage if they are involved in an automobile accident. Kelvin [redacted] was driving Ms. [redacted]’ vehicle when he was involved in an automobile accident. Mr. [redacted] is not listed on the declarations page of the policy therefore there will be no comprehensive or collision coverage for the accident he was involved in. We will be providing liability coverage for this accident only. A denial letter will be sent for collision coverage.

Review: I Have an insurance policy with Alliance United, I reported a claim about two weeks ago my vehicle got stolen and finally the police department found it totally stripped and damaged so I have been trying to get a hold of my adjuster to find out whats going to happend and she just doesnt pick up its been more than over a week I have left several messages and still I dont get a call back. The police department send me a letter letting me know where the vehicle is its at a towing place. So its really important they get back at me. Very poor service, I have left numerous messages for a claim I filed on an accident from there insurer and I have not gotten a call back.

Review: My vehicle was struck while parked on the sidewalk by one of their insured people. I filed a complain with the company. After speaking with Hermenia the insurance claim representative, I realized she took this claim far too personal. The individual that hit my vehicle is a family member. Mrs. Keeler continuously made comments in regards to the other party being a family member. She stated she could take as long she felt like taking to finish the claim and she would send me a letter every thirty days with a letter to prove due diligence. I requested that my claim adjuster be changed because of the personal comments she made in regards to myself and my family. I was denied. I was also denied where they were in my insurance claim. I have been with out transportation for over a week and nothing has been done or even told to me. I have had multiple police reports filed to my person for not abiding by a family law court order and providing transportation for my children when picking them up from their fathers. It has been a true inconvenience and they have been ridiculously rude and inappropriate towards myself and my insurance claims person.Desired Settlement: I would like my vehicle repaired and my a car rental provided while the vehicle is in the shop. Review: I got in a car crash on Friday may 2nd. Its been 3 months of waiting because they are doing an investigation since the other drivers story was not the same as my story. I waited for a couple of weeks to see if they had an answer for me,to see if they are gonna pay for my car to be repaired. I called them and they didn't have an answer for me. Both my insurance company and myself have been unsuccessful in speaking with ANYONE at Alliance United Insurance Company. I have received 2 letters from Alliance United Insurance Company stating that Zaul Lepe will contact me, yet he hasn't. When I last called them, they left me on hold for 17 minutes to tell me that not a single manager was available. It seems as if Alliance United Insurance is running an active campaign to ignore all communication regarding my claim in hope that I give up. After conducting some research on Yelp.com, it seems as this is Alliance United Insurance Company's modus operandi. Review: I don't know if this company exist they seem very fraudulent. My insurance card has there information but it's impossible to get a hold of anyone. I left multiple voice mails and I've never received a single call back from anyone. Every single time I called the calls went directly to voice mail even when I asked to speak to a supervisor it went to voice mail. I even tried calling through out the day and still no live person to speak to. My claims representative was Nancy Bonilla ###-###-#### Ext:3734 which I only found out about through my insurance broker. Nancy called about a week after my claim was filed even though I left countless voicemails. I spoke to her for about a minute while I was at work and I asked for her to call me in about a hour when I was off work so I could answer any question she might have. She said she would and she never did. I should have taken advantage of that one call because I never heard from them again until I received a letter stating that they will not cover my vehicle because the person who was driving my vehicle wasn't on my policy even though the broker specifically told both me and mother that the insurance would cover anyone who drove the vehicle even if they weren't on the policy. That's why they call it auto insurance not people insurance what would be the point of paying for Full Coverage. This the worst experience I've ever had with a company. If I'd new that this company would have given me the run around I would have paid more for a well known insurer that's my regret.Desired Settlement: I would like all the damages to my vehicle to be repaired that's why I pay for full coverage. I will pay the deductible I need my vehicle to be repaired as soon as possible.

We are writing in response to the recent complaint by Mr. [redacted] (Revdex.com Complaint # 9754898). The claim was filed on Saturday, 9/28/13 regarding an alleged hit and run accident by an unknown party that caused damages to our insured's vehicle. The adjuster managed to reach Ms. [redacted] (Mother of Eric [redacted] and the actual policy holder) on 10/3/2013 and confirmed that the driver of her vehicle, [redacted], was a person not included in our policy. Since we have an unknown suspect who caused this accident and a driver not listed in our policy, we determined that a more comprehensive investigation was needed for this loss.

The claims representative discussed this claim with Mr. Eric [redacted] on 10/9/2013 and explained that we need more information about Mr. [redacted] since he is not in the policy, to mitigate his damages at that time due to the coverage investigation, the need to discuss this loss further with Ms. [redacted] since she is the main policy holder, to clarify how the accident happened directly with Mr. [redacted] (as the actual driver), to complete the vehicle inspection and the receipt of the actual police report. It was our belief that Mr. [redacted] understood what was needed in this claim. The claims representative then sent the Reservation of Rights letter to our insured on 10/9/2013 as a confirmation of the recent coverage investigation that was just explained to Mr. [redacted]. It appears that Mr. [redacted] misunderstood the Reservation of Rights letter as a denial (per his complaint) even though the letter was just a notice. No written denial was ever sent for this claim since this policy was first reported to us.

The claims representative did update Ms. [redacted] again on 10/11/2013. Unfortunately she did not have any other new details or information at that time to share with us.

The claims represenatative followed up with Mr. [redacted] on 10/22/2013 and informed him that his vehicle was deemed a total loss and that we still need to speak with Mr. [redacted]. Mr. [redacted] told the claims representative that he was just notified by the police that they arrested the hit and run driver and was in the process of completing the official police report. Mr. [redacted] instructed the claims representative to hold off any payments since he is hoping to file a claim against the other party's insurance carrier once he gets the police report. Per Mr. [redacted], he will call us as soon as he has a copy of the police report.

Our claim file showed that the claims representative did manage to update both Ms. [redacted] (actual policy holder) and Mr. Eric [redacted] in a timely manner even though there might be instances of "phone tags". We are just waiting for Mr. [redacted]' decision regarding this claim. We do apologize for the inconvenience of this accident while we completed our investigation. Review: Hello, my complaint is in regards with an account my father had with Alliance United. He passed away in February 2015. In the process of canceling his auto insurance, [redacted] a representative mentioned I needed to fax over his death certificate as well as a letter stating to cancel effective date with (my signature)- [redacted]. Later I find out via mailed letter stating my younger brother has to sign. I was not told over the phone my brother does or does not have any association to the account. The lack of information to the cancel process and communication has me upset. There is a refund due and I hope the lapse in error will not delay it any further.Desired Settlement: My submission of the necessary documents with an accompanying signature was all that was needed. Per [redacted], the representative. He stated once it was submitted via fax, that he would then mail out the check to the my father's address which would then be forwarded via mail to my address. I would appreciate his effort if the check just be mailed to my address with no added delay.

I filed a claim on 10/30/14 it is now 7/28/15 it still hasn't been resolved I cant get a hold of anyone meanwhile im still obligated to pay insurance for a totaled car because its under a loan and requires insurance until the car is declared totaled by the insurance company but they haven't said anything or resolved anything or even call me back this is the worst insurance ever!!!!!!!!

Review: Alliance United Insurance company needs to be shut down IMMEDIATELY! My PARKED vehicle was hit by one of their insureds while he was driving under the influence on August 3, 2014. It is now December 12th and I still have not been made whole AND I have not received any communication from them in writing since August 25th. There is no question of who is at fault since I was not in the vehicle at the time and their insured was arrested and the officer left a police report. They will not pick up their phone, they will not return phone calls and they will not answer emails. I have left too many messages to count and written numerous emails with no response. I have never spoken to my assigned claim adjuster on the phone and I only spoke to his manager ONCE after they gave me the run around for 25 minutes and I refused to hang up without talking with someone. That is the only time I have spoken to her on the phone and that was in October. Now, she will not accept or return my calls. They are absolutely out of compliance and I will report them to the Department of Insurance. They are violating so many laws and they need to be shut down. This is a HORRIBLE company and I don't think their employees even exist. They must be fake because I can't imagine keeping a job by doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!Desired Settlement: AT the very least I want a return phone call or email to explain the status of my claim. Review: On 7/13/13 I bought car insurance from [redacted] insurance svcs an agent for Alliance united insurance company for total of $701 and I paid it in full. A month later,I received a letter from Alliance asking for 12 units from college because I got a discount for good student. I sent in good faith 7 units unofficial transcript to show I am a good student. They rejected my units and they increase the insurance by $110.99. I went back to agent Alicia with my dad and told her that there was no mentioning of any discounts when I signed the contract; she admit that she did not mention any discounts and she is disappointed with Alliance for such request when the deal has no discounts; she promised to talk to her company and resolve the issue; she took nine units official transcript from me to strengthen her position. She called us back and said that she failed to take out the increase and she is sorry.I filed a complaint similar to this one with department of insurance. The response from Alliance was copying my file and sent it to me and repeated that I failed to provide 12 units.On 9/28/13 I emailed back [redacted] the SR. Quality Assurance specialist who sent the copy of my file telling her that my complaint is about that I took the deal without any mentioning to any discounts and the transcript that I sent them was just good faith to show I am a good student; and I am now enrolled in 13 units would I get more discount. Until this moment, Ms Sr. Quality specialist did not respond to my email. Sir/Madam, my complaint is about un ethical practices by this company; I was a victim of a game between the agent; who I should trust. Changing the contract to get more money was un ethical. I believe as the agent who sold me the insurance that there was no discounts given from the beginning and there was no merits for increase except greed. ThankDesired Settlement: 1. Cancellation of increase and let the deal as signed on 7/13/20132. Cancel the insurance and refund all my money because of un justified increase by Alliance

The broker is required to follow company guidelines and should not have given the good student discount without proper documentation. I understand you provided the transcript showing 9 units in good faith however this still does not meet our guidelines. If the requirements have not been met we cannot give the discount to one person and not do the same for everyone. In your complaint you asked if you were taking 13 units would you get the discount. If your GPA was 3.0 or higher and you were taking 12 units or more, yes you would receive the discount. If you wish to cancel this policy please submit a signed written request. The policy will be cancelled prorate the day after post mark or the day after received. Please contact your broker if you need assistance.

We have contacted the broker to discuss the increase in premium due to the removal of the good student discount. Unfortunately, we were not able to resolve this matter to your satisfaction. The broker stated they explained why you did not qualify for the discount and apologized for the misunderstanding. The broker offered to quote coverage with another company as they may offer a lower premium and you refused. The increase in premium cannot be waived and the policy change will remain.

I am rejecting this response because: The broker is not telling the truth and what the broker said never happened. Now, I know that the broker is part of this game to lure customers to buy insurance; then , play the discount scam. I still have the right to further complain to other agencies or contact a lawyer for further legal actions and seek help from experts on insurance fraud.
