This Insurance company is ran very poorly. Exactly what the first reviewer says happened to them, (not returning calls, not letting you speak to a manager, giving them the run around , not giving any exact answers) is what happened to me. The worst thing is that they can't seem to figure out what coverage their policy holder( that rammed my car from behind and ruined it)has, despite alliance united holding the policy. This Company is horrible.

Review: My car was involved in a car accident on 11.18.14. My adjustor contacted me the day after to get information on the accident and told me he will be in contact. Days later I received mail from him and after the signature line it stated, "if you have any questions contact me immediately," which I did. Its been 2 weeks since both my husband and I have been trying to get a hold of him and all we are able to do is leave voicemails. He has not called us back in regards to our claims. I just need my car fixed but the auto body repair shop where my car is now, is also waiting for their call back in order to get started on my car. Since my adjustor was not responding to my calls, I had contacted their claims department customer services, which gave me wrong information regarding my policy. I am very unsatisfied with their work. Very unproffesional department.Desired Settlement: Need cooperation from my adjustors end to get my car fixed. At least a call back and status on my claim would be nice.

Review: I was rear ended by an Alliance United customer on 25-SEP. At the time that I made the claim, the same day of the accident, I was asked what body shop I would like to take the car to. I did not have a body shop but I was told I had to give an answer right then and there. I told the person if that was the case I would take it to Irvine BMW. I called Irvine BMW and was recommended to Spectrum Collision. I was given the name of a contact at Alliance United (Billy L[redacted]) and his phone #. The following Monday I was contacted by the appraiser who came out right away and looked over the car, he asked me some questions and that was it. I then tried to get a hold ob Mr L[redacted], it took many calls (at least 5-6) to get a call back, they immediately sent me a check in the amt of $959 for the damage to my car and 2 days car rental ($70)? I had to make time to take my car in to the shop. I took the car in to Spectrum Collision (20-OCT) and had a rental in order to get back and forth to work. The shop contacted Alliance as they wanted to give me a used part which was not acceptable, the appraiser came out again and a new part was approved. The part was ordered and my car was fixed and the shop and the insurance company negotiated the difference between the $959 I was originally given and the actual cost. I returned the rental once my car was ready. The total out of pocket for me was $ 517.84. I received a total of $140 ($70+$70) I contacted Mr L[redacted] after many calls, he called back and I stated the total rental bill was $ 517.84, he stated that he would only give me another $105 for a total of $245. I told him that was not acceptable, he had an email copy of the rental invoice. I told him I wanted the name of his supervisor/mgr, he never emailed me again. I called the 800 # and asked for the name of a mgr, I was given the name of J[redacted], left a couple of messages-no response. I've been inconvenienced enough though no fault of my own and now Alliance refuses to reimburse me the total i'm owed.Desired Settlement: I would like the balance owed for the rental $ 272.84 + $100 for all the back and forth and inconvenience i've been put through

I am rejecting this response because: I did receive a call from Mr L[redacted] but he offered NO RESOLUTION, he reiterated that Alliance will only pay $245 of the $517 of the car rental invoice, obviously this is not acceptable. I was rear ended by their client and just want what is owed me which is the balance. I'm not sure why Mr L[redacted] called, he started the call by saying 'you requested a call', no I did not request just a call I requested resolution to my issue, I requested a total refund for my out of pocket expenses due to your clients negligence. I asked Mr L[redacted] if he called to tell me anything new and he said NO, I told him to have his supervisor call me and I hung up.

Review: May 28,2013 I was involved in an accident where I rear ended another vehicle and when I reported the accident a few days later I told the person recording the events of the claim that my car had to be towed from the scene and fluids were also leaking from the car it was not drivable .My claim was handled by Humberto Ayala from the start it was difficult to reach Humberto about my claim I would leave message after message with no reply. a week or so went by and I request to speak to someone over Humberto because he was rude and unprofessional and was forwarded to talk to the supervisor Abraham where he then told me that a supplement in the amount of 1132.61 would be issued for bumper damage. I took that supplement over to the body shop where I was informed that there was more damage then what the supplement was for and to call insurance company for an adjuster to come out again. After leaving several unanswered messages and very little contact with Humberto I was given the number directly with the company who handles the actually gong out to inspect cars for repair to find out that my case was closed and that the damage to the car was not related to the accident I found this out in July the week between July 15-19 2013 over a month a half after the accident. I was in contact with Professionals claims regarding other damages to the car and was told to call my adjuster Humberto. When I called Humberto July 22,2013 call the operator for them had to personally call him to get on the phone for him to be rude and not understanding that it has almost been 2 months and my car has not be repaired to the condition before the accident. As a consumer and the insure e he was very not understanding to answering how long do the have to rectify insurances claims. It has been almost 2 months and my car is not repaired to the original condition before the accidentDesired Settlement: I have been insured with Alliance for some time now and this was my first my fault accident I want my premiums refunded to me from the start this has been a horrible experience I have been depressed I have 2 kids and no means of transportation and it seems as if Alliance is to busy to expedite and get my claim closed.I have been a loyal customer and to receive such poor service from my own insurance adjuster Humberto Ayala at ###-###-#### my insurance premium is 124.18 monthly.

Review: I was hit by a red light runner/hit and run on 1/12 shortly after 4 am on my way to work. It is 1/21 and we are still waiting to hear back from Alliance United regarding the repairs. The hit and run driver is insured by Alliance United. Police were able to track him down because his license plate was found at the scene of the accident. His insurance company is to pay for the repairs. First we find out teh max his policy will pay out is $5000. How is that possible? Most insurances are $50000. Alliance United sent an adjuster to our house on 1/17. He was rude and completely unprofessional. It is 1/21 and we still ahven't heard from Alliance United regarding the repairs and adjuster's estimate. We checked at the estimate has been sent to the claims lady ([redacted]). But [redacted] is not picking up her phone, must be screening her phone calls. I and my daughters have called Alliance United and when connected to [redacted] via another agent, [redacted] picks up immediately. This was the ONLY car in our family and I need to get to work. Alliance United has not authorized a car rental due to the $5000 max on the policy.Desired Settlement: Allaince United to call me back with estimate ASAP.Alliance United to PAY for ALL damages to Toyota Camry, even if it's above $5000 plus car rental, medical bills, and lost time at work.

Review: * Good Faith Act *August 26, 2014 I purchased a auto policy from "Green Light Auto",[redacted]., Whittier, Ca. [DBA], ALLIANCE UNITED INSURANCE SERVICES, CAMARILLO, CALIFORNIA. Amount requested from agent was $160.00 paid in full with schedule payments of $53.36 per month starting on Sept.26, 2014. On Sept.26,2014 "Green Light Auto" requested $87.00 due to being UNDERINSURED and for a few more dollars they can double my coverage, my schedule payments are $60.62 beginning Nov.25, 2015 which I authorized. Nov.28, 2014, $67.67 was withdrawn from my personal bank account which I had no knowledge of. On Dec.03, 2014 another $67.67 was deducted from my bank account without authorization. Our agreement was $60.62 per month, NOT $67.67! Green Light Auto charged me $30.00 to write the policy on August 26, 2014 which was not explained only to be told that I was underinsured ! I was charged AGAIN an additional $30.00 to re-write my policy for the correct coverage ! I have made numerous calls to Green Light Auto beginning Dec.03, Dec.04, Dec.17, and Dec.23, 2014. Dec.04, 2014 I was asked to FAX my proof to Grace@###-###-#### c/o Alliance United. On Dec.23, 2014 I FAXED 13 pages of proof again to Grace and to this date of Jan.06, 2015 have not heard from Grace regarding this matter. On Dec.23, 2014 @17:31 I received a call from [redacted] @ Alliance insulting my integrity. [redacted] said she reviewed my FAX and according to [redacted] there is nothing wrong and the deductions from my account were right. [redacted] told me she was going to send my FAXES over to accounting dept. for review. Alliance United Insurance Services unlawfully withdrew $165.34 which caused my bank account " INSUFFICIENT FUNDS " to be charged to my account in the amount of $35.00 ea.@ 3X's = $105.00 for a total amount of $270.34 + misc. fees, faxing @ Staples @ $1.59 X's 13 pages, fuel, and parking fees. A grand total in the amount of $300.34 should be returned to my bank account. What about suffering & pain ? Is there a charge as well?Desired Settlement: I would like to have all the monies returned to my bank account or have Alliance United Insurance Services mail me a valid check for the amount in question, $300.34 .

Review: I have been trying to contact my adjuster for the past week and half to get an update status on my claim but have not receive a call back by her or the supervisor nor the manager. Call center reps have even sent emails notifiying my adjuster I've called.trusting that is what they did. I've called every day leaving voice mails and still havnt heard anything. I just want to be aknowledged and informed about whats going on with my car. I have no clue if it's going to be repaired or totaled out? Review: I was involved in a car accident where the other driver was at fault in December 2014. It is now March and this company refuses to discuss the progress of the claim with either myself or my insurance company. The party involved was driving on a suspended license and Alliance United need only let us know if she was an authorized driver on her fathers policy. What is the holdup? I got 1 call from the company a month and a half after the accident took place. I have not had any return calls since. It is baffling to me as to why this company refuses to deal with my claim. Pooooooor customer service. It is very discouraging when the whole company including the supervisor is stonewalling you. Who likes to drive around with a damaged vehicle. I see a law suit in the future.Desired Settlement: I want my car fixed! I will go on the Revdex.com and complain each week until I get a resolution.

I am rejecting this response because: This letter is very vague, and does not answer the question as to whether or not the driver of the vehicle was an authorized driver on the policy. It only states that there was no evidence of coverage, which if she was covered would have been plain as day once they read the policy so why would it take 3 months to find the answer. Even my policy showes all authorized drivers. I find it totally rediculous, the ambiguity of this companies practices. My own insurance company will now not pay for the damages since there is no direct evidence of coverage for the driver who hit me. I will be consulting my attorney to determine the best course of action for this case. I hope that in the future United Alliance showes a little more decorum in the way they address claims against their company. Being non-responsive, from the supervisor down to the claims adjuster is just not the way to do business. Outgoing message states they will get back to you within 24 hours. I was lucky to get a response in 2 weeks the first time around and that was the last time, after numerous attempts to speak to someone. I finally heard from the adjuster assigned to my claim after filing a complaint with the Revdex.com and was told there were no messages from me. Honesty is certainly not something this company practices when dealing with claimants and don't even get me started on the demeaning responses to simple questions being handled when someone is able to speak to a claims adjuster.

On a positive note, I do have to say the girls handling the phones are very friendly.

The claim number from Alliance Insurance is 279306.. After that Alliance Insurance said that they were going to send someone to come see the car. So after 20 days on October 26 2015 G[redacted] from the company Kemper Services came to look at the car. He said the the damage is 4,200.54 and that all we had to do is wait for a call. Review: Claim G232438 On 6/5/2015, I was rear-ended in my vehicle. My wife is suffering with pain to her back and shoulder. The next day she did go to the seek medical attention. Alliance United Insurance agent Corey Dickson advised us that there were problems because they could not get in touch with the guy that rear-ended us who has the insurance with Alliance United. He said he needed to his side of the accident. Because they were unable to contact the him that they are unable to do anything with the claim. I received two letters from them saying they received my claim and the other letter states there is a problem contacting the other party. I do not feel that I should have to pay the medical out of my pocket for something that is clearly the other vehicles fault for rear-ending me. Alliance United claims they cannot contact the other party but on 11-10-2015 they sold him a new policy, doesn't sound like they are trying very hard to contact him because he contacted them with the payment and far as I know was not asked to respond to the claim against him.Looks like they are more interested in selling insurance but not responding to claims against themDesired Settlement: Respond to the claim and offer a settlement

Also under the California Fair Settlement Practices Section 2695.7(c) you have to notify me in writing every 30 days if more time is needed and the last writing was dated 9-17-2015 as of 11-13-2015 I have not received any written notice.Why would the insured be sold a new policy when you claim he has not contacted you which Corey Dickson said he is violating his policy that the insured signed.

Review: I was involved in a hit in run on May 15,2015..Ive called this company many times left messages and NO ONE ever calls me back .. I Finally get a letter on July 25,2015 saying they need more time because they want to talk to the girl that hit me(REALLY she didn't stay when she hit me What makes u think she is going to call u back).. So I Finally get a hold of the Claims Representative J[redacted] and he tells me that they are going to send me a check so I can go fix my car and that they were going to mail it off on Friday July 31 I NEVER received it so I call Back and talk to a Supervisor I believe her name is F[redacted] and she tells me a check was never sent and that she was going to send a Urgent Email to Jose I call for several days and still no answer . So I talked to another lady there she said the check was sent to the lady that hit me (Seriously PISSED OFF at this point ) . I call the next day and I talked to Jose he said the check was mailed to MY ADDRESS On Friday August 14......It is NOW the 20th and still no check ..... Ive had the insurance for 13 years and I have NEVER used them and they do this to me ..I JUST WANNA FIX MY CARDesired Settlement: I just want the check to fix my car. Review: One of Alliance insurance customers bumped my car (and 4 others) as it was parked. I filed a claim with the insurance and got assigned a claim adjuster. I gave him a call and about 3 days after I left a message he got back to me and send a damage inspector out. there was about 2000 in damage to my car. After this was all done the claim adjuster said it might take a while to figure everything out (i understood that, since there were so many cars). I give him a couple months and call him back to get an update. he never returned any of my calls until I talk to a supervisor. after talking to the supervisor he picked up on the first ring. He still says he needs more time. In the mail I also got a couple of letters saying they need more time. its been a year since I filed the claim. I left a message last week and about 3 days later I got another letter saying he needs more time. So I know he is getting my messages, but choosing not to return them. Thank you, and I will, but like I said before, and I told the insurance, my wife wasnt using the car for work at the time of the accident, and like I said, it was a favor she does during the week days and she works only weekends, now the insurance dont want to do anything, and they want to see it like that and they dont want to help. The other person told me that the insurance is not going to cover anithing bout his car because I didnt have insurance, but they are withrawing money from my account every month, and both parties have the same insurance, they just want to keep the money for them. After what I told you, what should I do? The insurance is lieing to us, both parties involved in the accident.

Review: My wife was rear ended by an individual insured by alliance. Our vehicle is totaled and my wife is in agonizing pain (including broken/fractured clavicle). I contacted alliance and filed a claim. That same day an adjuster contacted me and was of no help. She told me the case in under coverage investigation. Now it is not complicated to check if he's insured by them. She then told me shell contact me in a week or so which is nonsense.They need to promptly provide a vehicle for her and asess the damage and fix or replace our vehicle so we can move on with our life. Never had an insurance company handle such a severe incident like this in such disregard and unprofessionalism, not including the dozens of other customers that have left complaints as well. My wife is traumatized mentally and physicaly disabled of taking care of our daughter. Review: I was completely stopped in traffic when a driver insured by this company crashed into my vehicle. Review: On 6/17/2015, my vehicle was hit by another covered by Alliance United Ins Co ("AU"), Camarillo, CA. I called and filed a claim: G22[redacted]3. This company only works with Mega Appraisers ("MA") and it took over a week to get them out to do their appraisal. Their rep (J**) spent 30 seconds maximum walking around taking pictures. He didn't open the trunk to check for damage/alignment issues, he didn't look under the vehicle for shock absorber damage, and didn't even see the lid damage until I pointed it out to him. J** was very incompetent and his inspection was a joke. After AU received MA's estimate, they offered us a paltry $404.69. Their estimate based this low figure on only "repairing" my bumper, which has several holes clear through to the other side, and also to have another company (Ding Pros) "rebend" my trunk lid instead of repairing it properly. The amount they offered won't even cover the cost of a new bumper, let alone prep work, painting, finishing, and installation. To see how far they were off, I took my car to a local shop, Amato's Autobody ("AA"), where I had other vehicles worked on in the past, and was happy with their work. AA's inspection was very thorough, and they clearly explained everything that had to be done to restore my vehicle to pre-collision condition. They estimated apx $2,212.08 for this repair. After speaking with my adjuster (Wendy) and explaining why AU's offer was unacceptable, she asked me to provided a copy of AA's estimate and said she would send my claim to another department for another review. I sent her AA's estimate along with details of why their initial offer was unacceptable. Wendy never acknowledged receipt of this email/estimate, and I never received a reply. A couple more weeks passed without a single call/email and then we received a settlement letter and check in the mail, in the amount of $404.69, no change from their initial offer. Their letter states that if my repair company requires additional repairs not covered in MA's estimate, that they will handle this directly. This is COMPLETELY INNACURATE as AA's told me that they WILL NOT work with AU, and it even states that on their estimate. I have AU telling me that they will pay more for the estimate, but ONLY if my repair shop contacts them directly and ONLY to them directly...and I have my repair shop telling me that they will NOT work with this insurance company as they have been 'blacklisted' because of their poor business practices. I have placed numerous phone calls to the assigned adjuster (Wendy Wong x:3538) and her supervisor (Christy x:3632) and NEVER once has either of them answered a live call. Of the many calls I placed, I've only received ONE callback early on, and nothing since. To my email, I never received a reply. Now, over a month later, this is still not resolved. This entire time has been filled with delays and non-responses. Why is Alliance so willing to "pay" my repair shop directly, but not to me?Desired Settlement: Alliance United should PAY for the proper and complete repair of my vehicle, which includes a NEW bumper cover and the trunk lid repair, which amounts to $2,212 at my local repair shop. Their small offer, which would barely pay for some quick, shoddy bondo patch is completely UNACCEPTABLE. If this is not resolved soon, I have no problem taking this to small claims court. I am retired and have plenty of time to make this happen.

If you wish to repair your vehicle, take it to the shop of your choice and authorize teardown and repairs. We will work directly with the shop of your choice to get an agreed cost of repairs.We are happy to work directly with your shop to attain an agreed price. Original estimates are based upon a visual inspection and nothing more.We will not know the true cost of repairs until your vehicle is in the shop and torn down.We spoke to Al at Amato's Autobody and we reached and agreement on rates, but did not agree with his judgment.Our appraiser has called you on 07/24/2015 at 9:57am, 4:29pm & 07/27/2015 at 9:20am to resolve this issue with no return call from you.
