Review: I initially contacted this agency to dispute the account on my collections account. It was determined that the account belonged to my ex-spouse. The account was a collections from an automatic traffic ticket that could not verify the driver. I agreed to paid the account in full (though I did not cause the account) with the understanding the agency would delete the account from my credit report in order to repair my damaged credit score. Alliance One agreed to do this. After taking the full payment, I was told by the representative that "she didn't have the authority to delete the account but would update it to paid in full". I stated this was not the terms of the agreement, and asked for a supervisor. I was transferred to a supervisor that said the account could and would be deleted from my account on or around 3/17 and to check with the credit bureau in 10 business days. I called again on 3/29 and was told the account was to be deleted, and the agency sends updated reports on 4/7. I pulled my credit report on 4/10 and the account was still showing on my account. I called again today (4/12) to see what happened. The representative again told me the notes on the account stated it was to be deleted "but for some reason hasn't happened yet". I asked for a letter or memo stating this account was to be deleted and the representative refused, saying I would have to dispute it with the credit bureaus. I asked why this was necessary when their notes verified the account was to be deleted, and she could not provide an answer.Desired Settlement: I would like this company to send me a letter/memo on letterhead stating that this account will be deleted from my credit report, and said information has been forwarded to Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion along with an estimated resolution time.

Dear **. [redacted]:

I am writing in response to the concerns expressed to your office by **.

[redacted] on May 7, 2014. I appreciate the opportunity to respond on

behalf of AllianceOne Receivables Management, Inc.

**. [redacted] states in her complaint that she was told if she paid her

account in full that the tradeline on her credit report would be removed with

the Credit Reporting Agencies (CRA’s).

I contacted **. [redacted] May 7, 2014 as I was not able to locate an

account for her in our office. **. [redacted] stated that the original creditor

was [redacted] Hospital. She also stated that she worked with an office in

Tennessee to pay off her account. I informed

**. [redacted] that we do not have any offices in Tennessee nor do we provide

collection services for [redacted] Hospital.

I was able to provide **. [redacted] with a company name similar to ours

located in Tennessee - [redacted]. Unfortunately, we are of the belief that **. [redacted] submitted

her complaint to the wrong company.

We strive to provide a positive customer experience while resolving

Review: In September I received garnishment papers form Alliance One, that they issued in 2010 but never notified me about. I borrowed money from my grandma to pay so I didnt get garnished. At that time I asked them if there were any more accounts they had that they were planning on suing me for and they advised me no.On 11/15/2013, my human resources manager advised me she received garnishment papers for me from alliance one. This is ridiculous, I work hard and dont make much money. The company should not be able to get a judgemnt against you and not notify you for 3 years and charge you interest and late fees and then sue you for it. Then say they dont have anything to sue for and then turn around and sue you.Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Other (requires explanation)

I want a refund for all the late fees interest accrued from 10/21/2010 until 09/05/2013 totalling $1152.00 that I paid them.I also want to dispute the 3 other ite** they are trying to garnish without notice and they can pay those fees too.

Review: I called and paid bill, confirmed address for receipt, called back a week later and asked why the receipt was never mailed. I was told the receipt was mailed but to a different address in another city that was not my address. Not sure why my address was changed, it was not the one I verified when I paid the bill with my credit card. I asked for another receipt to be mailed to my address, called a week later and was told it was mailed and to wait until Monday and call again. I called on Thursday, and was hasseled by the lady who answered the phone, [redacted] was the name given, and was sent to her manager's voicemail. I left a detailed message of what happened and I have never heard back. I paid this bill on 2/13/13, today is 3/12/13 and I still have not gotten the receipt. I am very disapponted I was treated in this manner when I have done nothing wrong.Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Other (requires explanation)

I want an apology for being treated so rudely and a copy of the reciept for my records. Thank you.

Review: I contacted AllianceOne back in July to address a ticket that was sent to them for collection. The agent [redacted] that was my POC was rude uninterested in doing his core job of collecting and did nothing to assist and had done nothing but made 1 call/attempt to collect on the debt since it became part of Allianceone. b/c of [redacted]'s response I ended the interaction, and chose to make the payment via their website; I made several attempts to process the payment via their IVR and at least 3 via the online over 3 separate days, starting on the Sunday following my initial contact. Each time I attempted to process the payment for the $ amount provided the system would fail stating that the amount was incorrect. Every time it failed I provided feedback via the technical problems link. I was never contacted regarding my attempts, nor was I ever contacted again from allianceone or [redacted]. In the meantime it was brought to my attention that I was able to request a mitigation hearing on infractions/tickets which I did around a different situation and that was removed in late Oct. With that information, I was in the process of submitting the ticket that Allianceone for mitigation when this account was sent for garnishment in the amount of $444.24 had the company responded to any of my submissions in July the amount would have been max $256. and change. The garnishment of which I received notification on jan 24th was pulled from Jan 30th check taking 1/3 of my take home pay leaving me w/o the finical means to make rent

Account_Number: [redacted]Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Refund

I am requesting to be refunded for the difference of what was garnished $444.24 to what I owed and attempted to pay on in July. In addition I am requesting compensation for any late fees/overdraft fee I incur due to the wage garnishment. Had the appropriate steps been taking by the company back in July to respond to my attempts to make the payment and their websites issues these fees and additional charges would not have been incurred

Review: Alliance One has been illegally reporting negative information about me to [redacted].

I have sent correspondence to Alliance One on 1/12/12 requesting the debt be "validated" as per my FDCPA rights, to which I received no answer. On 3/1/2012 the negative tradeline disappeared from my [redacted] report, only to be re-entered again on 5/23/2012 - another violation of my Federal Rights.Desired Settlement: I request Alliance One to remove the negative tradeline on my [redacted] as they refuse/cannot validate this debt.

Review: Reference Account # ac# [redacted]

I HEREBY DECLARE MY INTENT TO SUE

To whom it may concern,

The last correspondence I sent you company on May 20, 2014 pertained to a demand for validation. Your company has failed to provide me validation of the account and at the same time persevered with reporting the account on my credit report. This is a blatant violation of Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA Sec 809). Hence, I hereby declare my intent to bring suit against your company under the regulations, due to your continued collection activity and failure to remove the account from my credit report.Desired Settlement: I am allowing you a period of 14 days to remove the account from my credit report, after which I will pursue this matter in California Superior Court. I have brought this matter to the attention of the Attorney General’s Office. You may only correspond with me by mail and are to cease all collection activity pertaining to this account.

July 22, 2014Dear **. [redacted]:I am writing in response to the concerns expressed to your office by **. [redacted] ([redacted]) on July 15, 2014. I appreciate the opportunity to respond on behalf of AllianceOne Receivables Management, Inc.**. [redacted] ([redacted]) states in her complaint that she requested validation from AllianceOne on May 20, 2014, that we have not provided validation, that we are in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), and that we are in violation for credit reporting.AllianceOne was referred account (#[redacted]) ticket (#[redacted]) on August 18, 2011 with a balance of $330.00. **. [redacted] ([redacted]) paid the balance in full on this ticket 7/21/2014. We have notified the credit reporting agencies that the balance has been paid and requested that they delete our tradeline for this ticket.A placement letter was mailed to **. [redacted] ([redacted]) on August 22, 2011. We have spoken with **. [redacted] ([redacted]) on two occasions September 7, 2011, and May 28, 2014. At no time on either of these calls did she request verification. It was not until June 30, 2014 that AllianceOne received correspondence requesting verification. The FDCPA does not apply to tickets as they do not meet the definition of consumer debt as defined in 15USC 1692a(5). Any FDCPA violations or requirements alleged in this matter are incorrect as a matter of law. Even if it were applicable, the request is beyond the 30 day validation period provided for in the FDCPA.We strive to provide a positive customer experience while resolving account concerns, and we thank you for bringing **. Review: I had called alliance one about an unknown parking ticket that they had recieved for colletions. They told me that if I paid this ticket they would not proceed to send my collection information to the credit bureaus. I called back to make sure to get the correct amount. After recieving another collection notice from them on 5/28, I called again to ensure this was, indeed, the same collection. They said this was the same collection and they had not recieved the payment I had sent them. I told them I would be happy to just pay over the phone as long as my credit would remain unaffected, they denied this. They said the collection had already been reported to my credit and that I could pay to show a $0 balance on my credit report. However this is still negative credit information, and I refused. I tried to talk to a supervisor, and of course I got a voicemail.Desired Settlement: I would like the business to accept my payment in full for the amount of the original collection, and reply to all 3 credit bureaus that this was an inaccurate report, for the collection report to be deleted from my credit reports as was agreed, with a copy of each of the three letters sent to me personally. This is the only apology needed. If they wish to do so, I will revise my Revdex.com claim, and WA attorney general complaint as resolved.

Review: I received a a collection notice from Alliance One, shortly after I proceeded to begin negotiations with for mentioned company. I had agreed to begin a payment plan and made a good faith payment up front. Approximately a week later my bank alerted me of fraudulent activity in my checking account. My current bank card was being used in the state of California and I reside in Virginia. I did not lose my card, bank statements can show I used my card just a couple hours before the charges. The only plausible explanation is that my information has been compromised, Alliance One are the only people that have that information other than myself. I do not believe in coincidence's and am under the strong impression that someone from their company either used or sold this information. I am extremely uncomfortable with the fact that they have my social security number and will not resume any negotiations until I can be relieved of these doubts.Desired Settlement: I do not want to settle this debt with Alliance One, I no longer trust their services. I do however want to do the right thing and repay my debt, I would like the ability to work directly with capital one or a different service provider.

October 9, 2014Dear [redacted]:I am writing in response to the concerns expressed to your office by [redacted] on October 7, 2014. I appreciate the opportunity to respond on behalf of AllianceOne Receivables Management, Inc.[redacted] states in his complaint that he has a ticket he tried to modify through [redacted] Municipal Court and it arrived to them late and his account was referred to AllianceOne. He states that AllianceOne is applying interest to the accounts during the process of attempting to obtain a hearing from the court.AllianceOne was referred two accounts # [redacted] ticket # [redacted] and account #[redacted] ticket # [redacted] both from [redacted] Municipal Court on July 24, 2014 and November 12, 2013 with balances of $250.59 and $44.28 respectively. They currently show balances of $263.11 and $47.45 which includes accrued interest. In the state of Washington the person receiving a violation has 15 days to respond to their ticket. Since [redacted] did not respond in the allotted 15 days he was found guilty and his accounts assigned for collections and is responsible for certain amounts under State law. (See RCW [redacted] provides: Penalties, fines, bail forfeitures, fees, and costs may accrue interest at the rate of twelve percent per annum, upon assignment to a collection agency. This account began accruing interest upon assignment at the rate of 12% per annum, or 1% per month.) I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I regret that the situation had to regress to the point where I had to file this complaint. However call-back number in the robo-calls I kept receiving was never answered when I called it.
