*** has submitted two additional complaints with your office on March 12, and March 25, 2014. He has rejected both of our responses. *** continues to dispute that he owes the debt as he was not living at the residence in question when the charges were incurred.
AllianceOne was referred account *** from *** *** *** on January 28, with a balance of $75.89. In our last response to *** we indicated that if he had proof of another residence at the time these charges were incurred that we would review that documentation with our client. *** to date has not furnished such documentation and without such information we are not able to address his specific concern related to the charges incurred in August 2013. We need to be able to demonstrate to our client that *** was not in the apartment during the time of the chargesPeople often stay beyond lease terms, providing another lease for the period of the charges would likely demonstrate to *** *** that *** indeed moved Aug and this bill is the result of a delayed notification of the his termination of service We believe that such proof would resolve this matter to ***’s satisfaction

We have reviewed all calls made to our
office and determined that *** *** was told during the May 15, call
that she would need to contact the court and request the funds be applied to
the account holding her driver’s license.
Our agent believed that there was
no docket number or account number listed on the check that would have
indicated where the funds should have been applied*** *** was also made
aware if she faxed a copy of the check or a cover letter that accompanied the
check and a docket number was included we would be able to submit a request to
have the funds applied to the proper account
On June 12, 2014, I spoke with *** *** of *** Law Firm; I requested a copy of the initial cover letter
that accompanied their payment for *** ***’s account. That cover letter shows that the funds being
remitted were to be applied to Docket #***/account #***. Upon receipt of this information I requested
that the funds be correctly applied to the account they were intended for. We properly applied the $to the proper
correct account on June 12,
If no account number is put on a payment
and multiple accounts exist for the consumer our cash posting policy is to
apply the payment to the oldest accountsIn this case our cash posting staff
did not handle this payment properly and we are investigating the matter and
will address it through appropriate corrective action

I am rejecting this response because: I did not receive the debt validation from the business Alliance One, nor have I received an actual bill from *** for this debtBecause this debt dates back to 2009, I am also unable to check records with ** *** due to the time frame of the debt, which dates back to 2009.
Additionally, the $fee is usually dismissed for customers who have an ** *** accountI have had several encounters with ** *** with ***, and all debts were promptly paid, without any issues.
I am willing to pay the $toll fee once I receive the debt validation. Please let me know if this is possible.
I have attempted to contact Alliance One customer service, however, no representatives answer the telephoneYou are forced to leave a voicemail, and I have not received a return call as yet. **I am also willing to contact MsCarol E*** telephonically to settle this dispute.
