I have car and home insurance with Allstate. I recently filed a home owners claim. I received a claim number and my agent acted quick on getting the process started, but after that everything went down hill. once an adjuster got the claim he has been really not for me but against me. I sent him the pictures of the damage. Then he told me they only come out between 800 am to 4 pm. I am a single dad and I work with no family left my mom just died on May 15th. So he acted like this was so much trouble. he called one company who contacted me then I never heard back from them. then sent another company, but they finally showed up. The whole time this was going on Allstate agent adjuster continued to act like that the pipe busting under my sink had been going on for a while. the last time before the company came out to look at my kitchen he pretty much said it's an ongoing issue. The company came out and agreed this wasn't an ongoing issue. the company took measurements for flooring and cabinets upper and lower, because the damage requires the cabinets to be replaced. Allstate agent called me back almost a week later after the company was out. told me he was going to pay for 6 cubic feet of cabinets only and the flooring. advised me of settlement which doesn't even come to compare with the cost that it will cost to fix all the damage. I pay for home owners insurance to have this coverage when something sudden like this happens. This agent is not wanting to get my home back to where it was before the water damage. why should I pay for home owners insurance if home owners insurance Is not wanting to fix everything. that's why we pay for insurance so it's covered right? I am wanting to speak to someone from Allstate corporate office to get this handled.

Worst company to deal with when one of there customers hit your car and its a brand new car with less than 4000 miles on it and allstate wants to put used parts on it this bull.

A rep, Jorge *** of *** came to our house to fix the singles. He promised the work will be carried out without us having to spend a single penny. We filed claim with our Insurance, Allstate. Even before we received any money Jorge took an advance by check for $1,300.00. When the Insurance Company paid our claim we gave further two checks for $5,243.41 and 2,537.65. We started getting calls from R & R for $1,989.18 which was the balance they said we have to pay. They said Insurance should sent us a final check which Allstate did not. Contacts with insurance company did not yield anything. We received an email from R & R threatening to put a lien on our house. We are old and do not want to go thru litigation. So we paid the amount of $1,989.18. The rep who came to our house making all false promises did not turn up after the shingles fixing. May be he was only canvassing business for R & R and after collecting his commission, he is done with the whole thing. I made repeated requests for a statement of account and finally when it came the $1300.00 we paid is not shown. We wonder how they accounted for this amount. We should get back the excess $3289.18 which was over charged and we were made to pay under threat of lien on our house.

I live in Morgan Pk community of Chicago. I have paid Allstate home insurance for the past 15 years without fail. Now that I am in need of a new roof, they have decided to drop my coverage. Their adjustor puts the damages at $800.00, and I have a $1,000.00 deductible naturally. However, the old shingles need to be torn off and replaced with new on the entire roof. I'm just wondering if there is anything I can do after fifteen years of loyally paying to this company?

Allstate Car Insurance treated me unfairly by not wanting to pay 100% on my car damaged that was caused by their policy holder named Sandra ***, claim # ***. Sandra *** hit me on July 10, 2019 in San Marcos, CA. She caused a property damaged on my vehicle amounting to an estimate of $6-7K. My car is still not fix and it's over a month now because the insurance is low balling me. Her car insurance which is Allstate Insurance only wants to pay 80% for the repair because they are only holding their policy holder 80% responsible for the accident. The claim adjuster named Cristobal *** and his manager named, Steven *** both want to hold me 20% liable for the accident. I do not agree because I am mining my own business in my lane, driving safe and going with the speed limit when Sandra came out of nowhere and got in my lane and hit me. She caused the accident by making an unsafe left turn and got in my lane. She failed to yield the right of way to the oncoming traffic or all traffic when she made a left turn from the parking lot (left side). She violated a CA vehicle code *** (CVC). The sheriff's accident report regarding this accident stated her breaking the California road law. Sandra verbally stated to the officer that it was her fault and she will not contest it. Therefore, it's crystal clear that Sandra is the one that caused the accident and should be responsible 100%. But Allstate Insurance is denying 100% coverage for my car damaged and repair due to money and I don't have any representation. They are taking advantage of me by low balling the coverage as well as Allstate Insurance is Not practicing "Good Faith and Fair Dealings" as all insurance should be practicing. They are unfair and taking advantage on little people like me by taking advantage on the situation since I have no representation.

Allstate is the worst insurance company I’ve ever dealt with. They are very disorganized and are thieves! They cannot even provide details on why additional invoices was sent to my mortgage company for the homeowners policy. The customer service is also extremely horrible! No one knows anything! You are NOT in good hands at allstate. There needs to be a class action lawsuit against this company. They are crooks.

I did one start because I can not put 0 because they don't deserve any star.
I file a claim for water damage on January 24 of 2019 after a really bad blizzard the water star leaking thru my roof so they send and adjuster that took over a two o more weeks to show up he took pictures then we start talking with Chikita *** she said tell us that they will take care of us with the roof part of our gutters and the partial front side of our house because the hail damage there is the first issue I never claim a hail damage I claim water damage we ask her because the amount of money that she and Kyra *** approve was not enough, if we need to repair anything else what we can do she said that if we send pictures and the estimates for the repair Allstate will cover it because Proximate clause doctrine so we start working on our house when the roofers start taking our shingles off part of our decking was falling apart because it was really wet so they so I called chikita *** to get some inspector or adjuster out here so they can see the damage but she delay about two weeks to answer the phone, over those two weeks my roof was just covered with tarps because there wasn't any decking to nail down the new shingles (so my roof was two weeks expose ) so when she finally returned the call she told us that she can't send anyone out here at the moment and also told us to moved forward because the decking was also covered we send pictures from the damages and then this other lady called me kyra just to tell me that the mold was not covered on my policy so I paid 1500 out of my pocket to get the mold clean but she said that the decking was covered then it was since April until august that WE CALL AGAIN TO SEE HOW EVERYTHING was going and what we found they change the agent again and they put this guy named Taphari *** and start saying that anything else will be covered because anything was in my policy this company is been a pain in the but they are really expensive and now they not cover anything I will start a claim on AMERICAN POLICY ASSOCIATION and DEPARTMENT OF INSURANCE because they sell and promote one thing but when you file a claim they don't want to pay anything this company just take our money and never care about their clients also I ask to talk with a manager and the lady that called me was the most arrogant and unhelpful person that I never talked to, I really mad with this people because we really aren't in good hands

Car wreck, no problems, taken care of so very well.
Tree on house. He was right there offering to put up tarps while it was still raining.
Would recommend him to everyone! Excellent service from his reps as well.

05-11-2019 a storm came through, with a gust of straight lying winds, through my area (The national weather service issued a statement that the winds that day were between 60-70 miles per hour) Many trees, power poles, buildings, and roofs where damaged or destroyed within that area-My neighborhood also suffered damage that day-Many homes including mine were damaged-My roof lost many shingles-After the storm passed I called Allstate-my insurance company-to file a claim-A roofer in the area confirmed my home was damaged because of this storm-Allstate denied the claim twice, said improper instillation, yet they insured my home(same roof) in 2018 no problem-We then involved a public adjuster, Allstate has again denied our claim-not just ours anyone but in our neighborhood with Allstate-Others in our neighborhood with the same type of damage but different insurance companies where taken care of immediately-How can a company who boasts "youre in good hands" legally take your money each month and not provide the service they claim to provide? case after case, client after client-Theres a Facebook page dedicated to people's accounts of Allstate doing this to them as well-My home is my biggest investment-I trusted a company to cover me in cases like this-I had a legitimate claim caused by an act of God-Allstate denied it-I feel ive been taken advantage of by a large company that promised me a service then got away with taking my money each month and then not providing the service I paid them to do-insurance is for coverage when things go wrong, well something went wrong and I didnt get the coverage promised by Allstate.

I feel Allstate needs to step up to the plate and take care of their clients. In my case my roof needs repair from that storm. I've upheld my end of the agreement by paying my premium on time every month. I cant help if a storm with winds 60-70 miles per hour comes through my area and causes damage to my home, they should not be allowed to get away with what they are doing to me or the countless other people that have had the same issue with Allstate. It seems they have gotten away with it for too long and Allstate needs to be stopped.

I was insured with Allstate for over 2 years with an auto- withdrawal. I called my agent when money was not taken out . Jason the agent said the company dropped my coverage because they couldnt get on my property because my gate was shut and my dog was barking at them when they attempted to do a secret inspection. I informed Jason that my gate is always closed and my dog is loose because the dog guards my 12.5 acres when I am not there. during Jason and my discussion about this situation he told me he didn't like my attitude and would not renew me and hung up the phone. now I cannot get insured by other companies now or have to pay a huge price because I have no insurance.

My son's car was broken into had some valuable things taken including clothing to high end things ripped his seat and screwed up his carpet rummage through his car I'm paying full coverage. And my agent told me his clothing to high-end things are supposed to be covered under my homeowner's insurance when the car was parked 40 miles away from my house I don't appreciate getting f..... from my insurance company I would like a full reimbursement of my full coverage payments since you lied to me and stole my money under false pretenses. You have to change your in good hands commercial because im suing you to remove it

I wish there was a way to get class action lawsuit against Allstate and put them out of business/bankrupt. They're con artists & thieves, not a true insurance company. I am dealing with them for a homeowner's claim and they offered $2,000 for what my contractors have said will need to be a new roof & new floor from storm damage (about 15-20,000 in damages). They lie & yes 100% dealing with deny, delay, defend practices. Have 0 trust in this company. I want to switch insurance but in middle of claim am afraid & don't know what to do.

I switched from Allstate to ***. Allstate was overpaid by $734 and are refusing to refund more than $250. They said they have a new policy that allows them to go back only 30 days and even though their agents didn’t know about it initially they just can’t seem to refund my money. I’ve made several attempts to work with the agent but all she can say is sorry but too bad so sad

Allstate refuses to pay for part of a damaged roof and ceiling inside the home. The policy is current and no other issues should be considered.

I am a disabled US Air Force veteran and I can no longer move around like I used to. When I first called to the number that I was provided by Allstate to file a claim the first time I called someone hung up on me. They quite literally cut the line off. So....I called a second time. This person was hard to understand and kept referring to me as a Ma'am when I am most certainly a SIR and always have been and always will be. This was very disrespectful. When the call was close to being finished I was PROMISED that someone would be out to where I live to come to take photos of my car and the damage that was done to it while I was out in the parking lot at a local eatery. I gave Allstate all the information from the police report that I had made because the person who hit me would NOT provide their insurance coverage information and....if you are in an accident in PA....you are required by law to provide your contact information and insurance coverage information no matter what. So a day or two goes by and I get called by an outfit called CPI Photography that they want me to bring my car to the local Walmart to have it photographed. I was extremely upset that I was lied to....and that Allstate would make the disappointing decision to hire a claims photo company that does not have the bravery to drive to a customers location and take pictures of this car where it sets most of the time. Today (8/2/2019) I started having issues with the car shutting off on me at random times and it is not safe to drive until I can take it to my private mechanic to have it fixed and driveable again. I am at a loss as to how one company that I used to be with can have such a very poorly constructed claims process and claim photography setup. All I am asking is that a contractor with Allstate that is licensed to take photos come to where I live and take the pictures that need to be done. I am not asking for much.

I’ve had to leave Illinois during the winter months. During the winter of 2017, I left December 7th. I had new siding replaced on my house last year & a new furnace. My neighbor called me January 21, 2018 & said I had water coming from the siding around the window. I called the water company to shut off water since I was out of town, but they said only the police could do it, so I called the police. They had it cut off & said they couldn't tell what happened. I didn't get any alert of movement from my alarm company, I was assured everything was Ok. I also had a friend checking around the house weekly & the friend said everything looked fine & they could see that inside the basement was dry. I attempted to fly in although flight destinations were being delayed & canceled due to harsh weather. Upon returning home, almost the entire house is ruined from water damage, May 9, 2018. When I walked in the house I had no alarm, it was dead. I didn't think to call the police. I called Allstate. On May 17, a crew from Allstate came to my house & did an inventory of the loss. During this time I communicated with them I didn't know what happened. They appeared to be trying to find fault in me. I met with an engineer who works for Allstate a couple of days later. For the past 22 years living in my home, I have done the same procedures upon leaving my house. My alarm company failed me. I called the police. Afterwards, I started making phone calls. I called the alarm company & was told on January 21, they had a low battery signal. I just got a new battery in September 2017. The lady also said my system is dead. I asked why was I not notified. She couldn't give me an answer although I'm paying every month. *** gas is the only company who has notified me by letter. They are thinking my gas meter is not working & want to replace it. Allstate has not paid for hotel or any damages & have been very mean to me.They wouldn’t give me my policy. I’ve had Allstate for 35 years.LeftHomeless

I was the victim of a hit and run at a parking lot. I was in my car when a woman put a shopping cart between our cars and drove off dragging the cart down my car. I got out of my car and physically stopped her. She drove away anyway. I filled a police report that I could provide that corroborates my statement. The woman has allstate and your company is refusing to pay. The adjuster said that there is a possibility that the cart was blown by the wind into my car. I believe this is impossible because it was between two cars and if the wind blew it it wouldn't have moved. Also I don't believe that the wind would have blown the cart into my car and dragged it down my car keeping constant contact with my car. I believe that if there wasn't a constant force such as a car to drag the cart then the wind would have pushed the cart into my car and it would have bounced off of my car. The long drag marks should be evidence that there was a constant force. The adjuster would not listen to my reasoning. I asked to speak to her supervisor and her supervisor would not talk to me.

My roof was damaged by a storm, and a roof contractor inspected my roof, and said that the roof needed to be replaced. He took pictures that indicated hail, and wind damage. A claims adjuster came out and inspected the property. She stated that the small round missing pieces of shingle that was missing was due to venting, and stated that she did not see any hail damage. She later told me that my claim was lower than my deductible of 1700 dollars. So basically the insurance company will not pay for my roof to be repaired or replaced.

Our roof sustained damage in a storm. we filed a claim, as expected, went through all of the proper channels and received a claim number. The damage was substantial to both slopes, as identified by the adjuster. the adjuster undervalued and under adjusted the repair costs. A substandard investigation resulted in this under adjustment and the adjusters estimated damage only accounted for one slope. We followed the recommended procedures and protocols and to make a long story short, its been almost a year, our roof is still not fixed and another monsoon season is upon us. now there is at least 1 substantial leak in my roof.

Very misleading on savings. Said I had accumulated zero copay, but went up on my insurance every six months pay. No explanation and when you call main number, they connect you with your agent. Who has no answer why.
