I ordered a small ring on line from Allurez (a New York based jewelry retailer) on 3/**/for $400, which I charged to a credit card When I got the ring, it was not what I thought it was from the photo, so I contacted Allurez to send me a *** return label I spoke to a woman (Cheryl) who assured me that they could create the ring I wanted (to match another ring) and so I sent her a photo of my ring and the specs of the stones (diamonds and pink sapphires) They then quoted me $to duplicate my ring, and I then paid the difference to “upgrade” to the new ring on 3/**/ I received the ring sometime in May and gave it as a gift to my sister Within months one of the stones fell out I contacted Allurez on 6/** to see how to get the ring repaired? I was instructed to ship it back to them, which I did on 6/**/The repaired ring was delivered to me on 8/*/and I gave the gift back to my sister Two days later, another stone fell out! She was very upset and then took h

I have been emailing your service team for over months now and all they do is stall and ignore my requests for a refundEvery time I send an email I have to wait for anything up to weeks for a response and often have to chase them upI clearly state my issues and they simply ignore them and do everything they can to avoid giving a refund as they failed to provide the goods ordered as advertisedI have made this complaint as I have spent months getting nowhere with the customer service team

I ordered a diamond from their website and days later, they charged my credit cardThe 5th day, they sent me an email telling me that the stone I bought was not availableI asked to be reimbursed (because they did not have the product they sold me) but they refused offering me another diamond and described the specifications to meI asked to see the GIA report and discovered that it was nothing like what they told me...in fact it was a much lower quality diamond...and when I told them that they lied and that it was misrepresentation, they tried to make me believe that the differences were typo errors !
Now, after numerous emails in which I have asked them times to reimburse me, they are still stalling trying to sell me a different product that I don't want
They charged me 092.00$ for something they don't have and refuse to give me back my money
Allurez is a scam

I ordered a wedding ring on their website ** Feb I received an email on ** Feb saying they could not ship the ring to meI called immediately to cancle the orderI informed them I was getting a ring and I no longer required their ringI was told that they would need to contact their higher ups and call me backI never recieved a callWhen I called back a few days later to find out what was going I was informed that they were still making the ring that I had cancledWhen I talked to thier manager I got a lot of run around and a few "I dont knows" as to why I was given the information I was given by her employees

I had a bracelet custom made by Allurez and it came out a lot nicer than I expectedVery happy with my custom made Allurez bracelet :)

placed in the settingHow could that be custom madeYes, the sales person talked over me and wouldn't accept my dissatisfaction with the itemI told her it didn't look like the same as the websiteI, also received push back ear nuts its not screw backsAs I said again I had to call for my merchandiseAnd cleverly they sent it out on the *** which was a day after the day periodI didn't give a fake number, I accidentally gave them an wrong number since movingI have told them to emailSo, now I am out more than two hundred dollars, the item not looking like what's on the web, wrong backs, plus no diamond in the setting, and cleverly sent the item a day after the daysReally! I am not happyThis company needs to make this rightCredit my account! And I will gladly return the earring setting

I purchased a gift for my wife for mothers dayThe original Item I ordered was not available to ship and arrive by Mother's day, so they contacted me, and we arranged to purchase a very similar item, that was ready and availableThe item did not show up before Mother's day, despite paying for expedited shippingI called to return the item, and they told me I couldn't return it, because it was a clearance itemThis was never stated during any interaction before they shipped itI have shipped the item back to them, but they will not refund my moneyThey have not responded promptly to requests to refund my money, and when I call them, I get passed around being told that the person I am speaking with, can't make the decision

Simply stated, Allurez sent me merchandise that was not
what I
requested or it was misrepresented by the advertisement.
If they provided the merchandise that was advertised, this incident would not
have occurred. Also, if they would take responsibility for their mistake,
I would also be happy to recommend them to others as a respectable
business. But they will not, and instead they are refusing to return
costs I incurred for their mistakes
As an analogyif anyone were to go to a restaurant and order a
steak from the menu & the wait staff brought a salad, I would expect that
anyone would be outraged if the restaurant tried to charge for the returned
salad. In fact, most credible establishments would offer an apology and
some form of additional compensation for the mistake and wasting the customer's
time
In contrast, Allurez will not take responsibility for their mistake and they
are trying to hide behind a refund policy intended for legitimate
transactions. Based on the return policy, I understand that shipping
costs would be my responsibility if I decided to return any items that were
accurately represented in the product description. However, this
was not the case. Allurez brought me a salad when I asked for a
steak & they are trying to make me pay for their mistake and lack of
quality assurance
No wonder their sales have gone up 35% in the last quarterthey seem to
standing firmly behind bad business practices. Though my incurred costs are small, I would say their business practices border on the verge of theft and others may not be so lucky when dealing with this business

I purchased a loose diamond from Allurez and I love itI live in Canada and decided to buy from them as my friend recommended me to themI paid with wire transfer and even got another 1.5% discountI got the diamond appraised for double the amount I paidVery happy with my purchase

I recently purchased a wedding ring for my wedding in two months from Allurez online over two months agoI've had nothing but problems with themI had to send the ring back because the prong for the center stone was sticking out way too far, nothing like the pictureThey recently "fixed" the ring, the prong is now extremely crooked to the naked eye and still isn't flush like the pictureThey told me purchase the stone from them and it will look just like the picture, it's far too small and they said they can't change it

Allurez has a misleading websiteFor the item I purchased, it says the estimated shipping date was 0-daysI had to update my information (during which time they did not call, emails went to spam) and the item still won't ship until at least business days after this was done (business days from initial order)This was not a custom orderStill waiting on item to shipThey would also not allow me to cancel my order due to the lengthy process
