Was fooled by the site as they use a different grading system for many of their d ijamonds than more reputable known rating agencies such as GIAI was offered store credit or a product exchange and that I could not get my money backThis store credit policy is listed on the company's websiteHowever after I decided to exchange for a gia rated dismond I was told that I couldn't price match an item with one of their competitorsThey said they already had the diamond in store and the other site needed to take the product off their inventoryI did not purchase the diamond yet at this timeThey have been unable to provide a picture of the diamond wich they told me they already have in store and could not pricematchI then felt obligated to purchase the diamondThe company also advertised a quick and easy return policyI said I would like to again exchange my productThey now told me I can't because the jewleer had already started working on itThis company sells EGL and not GIA r

I ordered a ring set from their website, Antique Amethyst Bridal Set Marquise Shape 14K White Gold 0.36ct (Style u3796)The picture showed prominent dark purple stonesThere were other pictures shown below with the ring placed in a box, and those clearly showed dark stones as wellWhen I received my order, it looked nothing like the pictures onlineThe stones were much smaller than depicted and were a light pink colorSo light, I could see a dark spot where they were attached in the backI asked to return them, and customer service informed me that I could not return them because they were a part of the Design Your Own Selection and that it is in their Terms of Service that sizes of stones may vary and colors can be different depending on computer monitor settingsAs a reasonable person, I understand that items ordered online may not look exactly like what is depicted, but I think it is highly unethical to greatly exaggerate the size and colors of the stones, then refuse to take

I purchased an engagement ring from themThey shipped me the a ring that is the wrong size and has shotty work with most of the stones not being securedThey are now trying to force me to pay for the cost of shopping and insuring it even though I feel I am at no fault, it should be noted I have paid for the lifetime warranty AND already paid for them to ship it back to me even though I feel I shouldn't haveI've been calling them for weeks and am happy to provide details/share emailsThey now refuse to let me speak with a manager

Issue: paid for appraisal ($99) April **, Order received 7/**/Refund requested August ***As of August **, 2016, no appraisal received and no refund issued

I purchased a loose diamond from Allurez and I love itI live in Canada and decided to buy from them as my friend recommended me to themI paid with wire transfer and even got another 1.5% discountI got the diamond appraised for double the amount I paidVery happy with my purchase

On 05/**/I purchased a peridot necklace amd peridot earings on the same orderIt took some time to custom make these items, understandableReceived them the middle of July, however the earring backs were "martini style" and did not state that on the descriptionI contacted customer service and they stated it was their mistake and they would have no problem replacing the jewlery to flat backs for me as I had requestedI sent the earrings in, they confirmed they received them and would get them back asapAfter two weeks of hearing nothing, I contacted the company again, they said they their was an "issue" fixing them and would have them back to me by the *** of August as that was my wife and I anniversary and I was persistent upon them being here by thenAfter not hearing from them by the beginning of September, I contacted them again, still the same response there was an "issue" fixing them and we will talk with the jewler and be back with youAs of today I have not received

I had a bracelet custom made by Allurez and it came out a lot nicer than I expectedVery happy with my custom made Allurez bracelet :)

My fiance purchased my engagement ring with this company when they were advertising there holiday sixty percent off site-wide saleHe ordered a carat, grade D, VS1, Excellent cut round diamondWhen he received the item he noticed that it didn't come along with paperwork or the certificationHe went to have it appraised at Freber's Jewelry Feb***, and the appraisal was shockingIt listed the weight of the diamond to be carat, the color "H" Grade, and the clarity "I." Clearly, there is a discrepancy as to how this item is
listed by the business on their webpageI've have attached a screenshot for this item which lists it under the category of "Engagement Rings" and not as "Design Your Own"This is also evident in the link provided with the original complaintI ordered this item from the webpage which lists the ring as an "Engagement Ring", which according to the company policy is returnableHow is the consumer to know that the item has been placed under multiple categories with different return policies? I would not have purchased the ring if I had known that it was not returnableGiven that the business has erred by listing the item under multiple categories on the webpage, I should be entitled to a refund on this item.

Allurez still avoided/failed to address issues that I
have brought up with this complaint:The product description/detail never mentioned this is a “Special Order” item nor the confirmation page (Which I have pictures as evidence). Therefore, when I place an order with Allurez, it is an agreement/purchase order for a regular item ct Heart-CutDiamond Stud Earrings 18kt White Gold (G-HVS2-SI1) and I expected to be shipped within 1-business days. If it creates such challenges for Allurez, then it should have clearly stated on the description this is a “SPECIAL ORDER” to let consumers know, but Allurez didn’t…?!For some reason, after I placed the order, Allurez decided to claims this is a “Special order” and didn’t ship the item until 23days laterThat leaves days (which is unfair and not enough time) for consumer to detect any defects or to seeif she/he really likes the item. In a situation if Allurez claims a regular item is out of stock and didn’t ship ituntil days later, that means when consumer saw the actual product and didn’t like it, she/he is stuck with the item?!When I wrote to one of Allurez’s representives for refundShe/he never mentioned this is a “Special order” itemIf this was a “Specialorder” item, she/he could have easily turned down my request for refund with the policy of “Special, design-your-ownand custom made orders are not refundable”But she/he didn’t because the representative saw it as a regular item, NOT a “Special order” item!I am asking for a refund because I DON’T WANT IT ANYMORE, it doesn't matter if it is 18kt or notSo, I don’t see the logic of providing assessment/exchange as a reasonableoffer?! I have repeated stated Allurez can check to see if there are any damages before making the refundLastly, if “approximatly weeks after I had received the item” seems to be considered several weeks and unreasonableThen it is veryreasonable for Allurez to ship a regular item after days/several weeks from the order date?!

I recently purchased a wedding ring for my wedding in two months from Allurez online over two months agoI've had nothing but problems with themI had to send the ring back because the prong for the center stone was sticking out way too far, nothing like the pictureThey recently "fixed" the ring, the prong is now extremely crooked to the naked eye and still isn't flush like the pictureThey told me purchase the stone from them and it will look just like the picture, it's far too small and they said they can't change it

On October ***, I purchased a custom engagement ring and band set from AllurezI wasn’t entirely sure of my girlfriend’s ring size, so I purchased the Lifetime Service Plan Warranty from AllurezAccording to the FAQ page on their website this plan covers unlimited resizing if the ring is too small or too large“Allurez will gladly resize a ring that is too small or too large, FREE of charge!” Based on reading the FAQ and the warranty information on their website, I felt this would cover any issue if the ring wasn’t a perfect fit
After proposing, we realized that the ring wasn’t a perfect fit after allSo, we went to a professional and had her finger sizedThe ring we ordered was a 5, and her finger is actually a (difference)So, on November ***, I sent an email requesting details on using the warranty to resize this ringI received a reply two days later on November *** from Chaya informing me I should have her finger sized by a professionalI replied the same da

Allurez has a misleading websiteFor the item I purchased, it says the estimated shipping date was 0-daysI had to update my information (during which time they did not call, emails went to spam) and the item still won't ship until at least business days after this was done (business days from initial order)This was not a custom orderStill waiting on item to shipThey would also not allow me to cancel my order due to the lengthy process
