I checked the order status on-line and it was listed as "pending fulfillment' up until 6/25.
I made at least 6 calls to the store and each time the phone rang for about 5 minutes and the disconnected.
I email "American Freight" Customer service and received a call from Dwayne on 6/26/20. I provided the order details and the above issues. Dwayne's telephone # (***. I made 2 follow up calls to Dwayne. On one of these call Dwayne said that the store had an issue with the product and the issue had been rectified. On 6/29/20 the delivery status changes to "Delivery." As of today 7/3/20 at 9pm ET it is stilled listed as "delivery" but does not an estimated delivery date or delivery details. Unable to use the product for my July 4th family gathering (with social distancing protocols). With delivery date up in the air I cannot make arrangements for delivery acceptance or give the installer an installation date. A further call to Dwayne went unanswered.

Purchased a refrigerator on Friday July 10th at Darien, Il location. I was very pleased with variety and pricing. Actually surprised would be a better word. Also I can’t say enough about how helpful and attentive Angela was not only to me but at least 3 other customers at same time. I will definitely be using them again and recommending American Freight to others. My first time experience with you deserves 5 plus star rating.

I should of wrote this a year ago I purchased couch, love seat and a recliner within two weeks time you could feel the seat giving out. The recliner is so cheaply made the arms of the thing are hollow just a cheap three wall that you can gently shake one arm and the whole chair shakes. We don't even use it. I won't even give it to Good Will. I also purchased a pillow top mattress within 6 months. you could see where my bottom laid I only sleep in the bed. We didn't have any delivery problems; we picked it up our self . We went and financed it the total which was around $2500 which in the end totaled $7000. We took out a loan and paid them off. Never step foot in that store again. Don't even know if that store is still open. Our city is not that big. I'm sure word of mouth went around. I did do that to everyone I could. And heard stories like mine. So sorry

This place is fraudulent and never do business with them. I needed a washing machine and HD could not provide one in a timely manner. So I went into this place in Austin.
My husband and I ordered a machine online and the website indicated it was there but it wasn’t. After waiting for 5 hours we were told they didn’t have it.
So the next day I called the manager because I want my money back that I paid them. The manager gave me a bogus return number that means zero. There you go and I can’t believe this day and time we have this going on.

Due to Covid-19 and shortages, it has been very difficult to find available appliances in both St. Louis and online stores during a time where I found myself having to move to a new home. I was SO excited to finally find my refrigerator of choice in stock at American Freight/Sears Outlet! I placed my $1,200 order as fast as I could online on June 16th to be shipped from a location In Texas. Yes, the shipping Fee was RIDICULOUS at almost the same price as the fridge and a $200 restock fee/no returns, but I was desperate and logically I would’ve paid the same price for a fridge Somewhere else at regular price. I received a “temporary” order number by email right away with very limited info. Someone followed up with me by phone to explain the damage to the fridge and I accepted considering my circumstances. I got a second email stating my order was confirmed and that it would take up to 10 business days for my item to be delivered to a hub In my area. On June 25th , I decided to give them a call to check on the shipping status. Not only had the fridge not left their warehouse, I was not informed of any delays. They then assured me that the fridge would ship out on the 29th-30th and someone would call me with a tracking Number. No one ever did, so I called them back again on July 1st and the guy I spoke with apologized but couldn’t tell me exactly when the fridge would be delivered to my home or where it currently was. They use a shipping company called Pilot Freight Services and the guy me that once that third party company picks up the fridge it’s out of their hands and if I want to cancel my order I would have to wait until they have the fridge back at their warehouse to receive my refund - Not helpful at all. I then Asked to speak with the manager at American Freight who was able to go to Pilot Freight’s website and schedule a delivery date of July 8th. Even though I was skeptical that my fridge would arrive on that specific date, it did.....HOWEVER.....it was not delivered by Pilot Freight. Instead, it was delivered by an independent contractor in an Enterprise truck with NO DOLLY. When the driver arrived, he called my cell phone and first asked if I had someone who could come help him with the fridge because he’s alone, and then he proceeds to ask me if I’d be okay with him asking some COMPLETE stranger across the street to help him bring the fridge in my home! After an hour later and it pouring down raining on my new fridge, the fridge is inside, my front porch is all scratched up, and this is the WORST ordering experience I have ever had with a company from start to finish! Never again. There has to be a better Process. Unacceptable.

All I have to say is Wow. I was in the market for a new kitchen appliances. I came across this store in west palm beach florida on my search. When we walked in we were greeted by Marty. I explained what we were looking for and he walked us right to the appliance. He made us feel comfortable and was very patient with us. Due to Covid-19 and shortages, it has been very difficult to find available appliances in both St. Louis and online stores during a time where I found myself having to move to a new home. I was SO excited to finally find my refrigerator of choice in stock at American Freight/Sears Outlet! I placed my $1,200 order as fast as I could online on June 16th to be shipped from a location In Texas. Yes, the shipping Fee was RIDICULOUS at almost the same price as the fridge and a $200 restock fee/no returns, but I was desperate and logically I would’ve paid the same price for a fridge Somewhere else at regular price. I bought a BLACK+DECKER 20v Cordless Drill Driver online and I never received my order. When I looked online, the site indicated that the item was available at a nearby store. I purchased the item on 06/19/2020 and received the confirmation including the order number. 4 days later, I called the store so I could have the "hands free pick up". The person at the store mentioned that they don't sell the item and the nearby store that would have the item was in Santo Antonio-Texas (I live in WA state). He also informed that my purchased has been cancelled. I never received any e-mail informing me of such a thing. I have sent 2 emails to the costumer service and I have never heard from them. My debit card has been charged and I never received any explanation of what is going on. All that I want is to have the item that I purchased, and some clarity of what is going on.

Worst customer service ever they don’t want to help at all

I just bought a dryer on 4th of July, hooked it up and it's defective. They won't let me return it!! This is the most horrible experience I have ever been through. It's one thing to sell a scratch and dent, it's another thing to sell a product that is defective!! If I could I would put 0 stars but it won't allow me.

I tried to buy a refrigerator during the 4th of july sale they ran. I got a call from them to schedule my deliver. I was told to expect a call the day before to know what time to expect the delivery. At the end of business I call them up to check (no one called me like I was told to expect). And I was told I was never scheduled. Not only would I not receive the unit the day I was told I would, but that I had no date scheduled for delivery. No one tried to call me to fix this in a week. They just let me not be scheduled and hold on to both my money and the refrigerator. When I say I would like to have it delivered the day I was told I would have it delivered, the CSR I was talking to made up a story about the woman that called and left me a message to schedule delivery. Odd. The day I ordered and had the order confirmed, I talked to a man who told me a day it would be delivered. The rep did every thing he could to get me off the phone (so he could pretend to look at the schedule). He called back and offered to schedule me for a week later. I told him to cancel the order. The company has made no effort to confirm this or return my funds.
Also, looks like the joke is on me. A+ rating with Revdex.com, but average customer review on Revdex.com is just over 1 star. Its almost like the Revdex.com is a pay for listing with no actual power!
