Worst place ever! Do not do business with them. I beyond disgusted with American Freight. Never in my life have I had the misfortune of doing business with such incompetent people! I paid cash for a 4pc Bedroom set. I was told that it would be delivered the next week. That didn’t happen. Firstly, my furniture wasn’t delivered to the warehouse until two weeks after expected. Next, not all of it came to the warehouse and I had to complain to get what came in delivered and not have to pay the delivery fee twice, which would have been extremely unfair. Next, when they finally made the delivery, the wrong dresser was delivered and the chest wasn’t sent. I emailed them a picture of the wrong dresser as requested only for them to continuously tell me that they didn’t get it. I make calls to them on a nearly daily bases just to be told that they will let me know when it’s on the away. One and a half months later, I still haven’t gotten my furniture. Like I said, WORST PLACE EVER! SAVE YOURSELF THE AGGRAVATION!!

Purchased a couch set for approx $1400 on Nov 4th. Around December I started experiencing itching and noted a few areas. After a while I asked my to look. It was not definitive and was treated as hives. Long story short, I am the only person who sat on the couch in question and I was literally feeding bedbugs for months before I realized the problem. I have documentation and photos of everything. Since it was supposed to be a new couch it NEVER occurred to me that it was the source of my bites! I have had two inspections from two exterminators, one of which was yours and only a day apart. Both of which have advised me they ONLY found them in the couch (which was thrown to the street) and not in the house. This would make sense as I was a constant food source. I have had no further bites since throwing the couch out.

American Freight strongly disputes this allegation.First and foremost, bed bugs do not live and thrive in new, unused furniture. Bed bugs feed on humans and animals, not furniture. They are often found in used furniture so that they can live near a food source. The furniture itself is not a food source.Furthermore, American Freight purchases new furniture from manufacturers, and this furniture is wrapped at the factory. American Freight contracts with Orkin to keep our warehouses pest free. Our contracted delivery drivers do not remove used furniture, and American Freight does not accept used furniture back into its premises. The Orkin representative that went to the customers home was only able to validate the presence of the bugs, also noting that the furniture was outside of the home. Orkin did not state that the source was directly from the store location.Additionally, American Freight has not received any other complaints from this location. For all these reasons, American Freight strongly disputes allegations that it was the cause of any bed bug infestation.

American Freight will still stand behind the regional managers offer to the customer to refund them $500.

I ordered a sectional and a table set on May 17, 2020. The table was delivered about a week and a half after that but there was no word on the sectional. Not only did I put money down on the furniture but I paid $79 for delivery. Just so happens, I was delivered the WRONG table. So after calling and talking to about 3 different unprofessional people, manager included, I decided that they can come get the table and I don’t even want the right table. I just wanted a refund on what I paid down, the delivery fee, and for them to just cancel the sectional. They cancelled the sectional as I asked and issued me a refund on the $639 I had already paid down. But they did NOT give me the $79 delivery fee back. There was a whole bunch of confusion and miscommunication on their end, which resulted in them coming to get the wrong table from my apartment 2 WEEKS LATER. I even called and talked to the regional manager, Gordon V. He apologized and assured me that I would get my $79 refund AND they would come get the wrong table from me. They came to get the table and I have NOT heard anything else. I’ve called *** office about 4 more times after that and i’ve left messages. He has YET to return my calls like he SAID he would. All I want is my money back, thats all.

On February 29, 2020 I called American Freight and notified them! The representative told me he would call me back because he would have to see when the delivery guy was coming back this way! A few days after that the slacks for my king size bed broke! I contacted American Freight once again due to the fact I never received a call back and my slacks for my bed broke! The representative took my information again and told me the same thing but never called back! I waited a week later and called back this time I spoke with another representative and she told me the same thing but never called back! I waited 2 weeks later called back and it was yet a different representative and he stated the same thing. That person didn’t call back either! In March I finally reached out to Christopher the manager and he told me that they was about to close due to Covid 19 and he did not get any paperwork on me! He asked me to call back in 2 weeks when they reopen and he will get this resolve! I’ve called him back several times and it seems as if he has a bad memory everytime I talk to him! It has been nearly 4 months since I have tried to get this resolve! I’ve paid nearly 4000 dollars on my furniture my son is complaining about his back due to the broken boxspring! I literally have to have my bed on the floor due to not having slacks! This furniture is not worth the price in which it is and I should not have to run behind people for something I paid for!

I purchased $4000 worth of furniture.The sales man, Nate, failed to tell me about the leasing charge that is worth the same as the furniture. They are charging my account biweekly in the amount of $222.75, total of $445.50 per month. I was thinking I was done with the payment but only to find out they are charging me a leasing fee the same amount like the furniture. If I would of known that, I would have never purchase the furniture. I feel the salesman was rushing me to sign all the documents and failed to let me know of this charge. I could see the sales man hand shaking his co-workers and laughing. However, I didn't expect this to happen. It's been a year now.

Purchased on line from your store located at *** what was advertised as a NEW-OUT OF CARTON front load washer of a specific model type on 6/9/20. I live 3 hrs from this store in ***, but they had advertised a specific model I had wanted, and was listed as new-out of carton. I arrived home on 6/10/20, and observed washer leaked all over my suv, and it was full of moldy, mildew water, strong smell of soap and mildew. Inside was full of mold. No paperwork, and very beat up. In addition, IT WAS NOT THE SAME MODEL TYPE I had purchased. Store substituted a old beat up used machine, of a different model type. Emailed cust serv that same night, no response. Called store manage next morning (Danny), stated he would try and find me a new/out of carton in the right model type, and call me back. Never called. Called back next day. He stated no refund even though he acknowledged I had a used machine of a different model. Again stated would look into issue. 2 more emails also to customer serv, no response. Danny again never returned call. Mailed letter certified, store refused letter and it was returned to me. Have photo's and all documentation of this fraud. Complained to local police dept, Ohio attorney generals office, and mastercard (pending). Also remailing same letter back to office.

I purchased a queen size bed that came with headboard, footboard, dresser, mirror, mattress, box spring, and rails. I didn't receive all the items and they were suppose to bring the extra missing items to my apartment. They never did and never called. They also added a warranty to the bed that wasn't even suppose to be there adding an extra 200 dollars to the total cost. I haven't been able to put my bed together because I've been missing a piece for almost a week now. Id rather return everything since it's in the same condition I received it in and get my money back because this has been very inconvenient for me. The man lied about his name and the warranty as well.

They have spoken with the customer who advised they will wait for the footboard to come in. American Freight will have the footboard delivered to the customer at no charge once it arrives.

05/09 placed order with promised delivery date of 5/14-5/15
5/15 called to confirm delivery and was told truck was in route to our house; was a no show - they closed and did not contact us
05/16 called to find out what happened; was told they only had the bed & mattress, not the nightstands (2) or chest (these pcs to come in 2 wks) - had removed existing furniture 05/15 so they were to deliver the bed. After several hours and phone calls with missed delivery times, bed and mattress arrived; only to find out after assembling bed that they brought the wrong mattress. Was told correct mattress would arrive that night. Did not arrive but we were promised it would be delivered early Sunday 05/17.
05/17 called after noone showed up; they did not even have our mattress, was promised it was on it's way several times throughout the day - the mattress finally arrived around 6pm.
05/30 2 weeks since promise of 2 weeks for full delivery of items; called to inquire about time it would arrive and was told it would be 2 more weeks (unhappy that they didn't notify us).
06/09 spoke to finance company to prorate the portion of the items that had not arrived yet; was told it would arrive in 1-2 weeks (this is longer than the promise on 5/30)
06/09 spoke to store and was told it would maybe arrive week of 6/21. Asked to cancel order and pick up the item that did come in.
Store refused; wanted to cancel just the pieces that had not arrived yet - leaving us with an unmatched set after failing to deliver on 3 separate promised.
No replies to phone calls, emails, web forms etc. Cannot get it escalated - cannot get any contact from them. All contact has been initiated by customer even when they knew they had updatd info to give us. Store is very unprofessional, has no access to the manager they report to. Is very rude and continuously lies.

Online order of dryer $450 4/5 on 4/7 I was told they didn't have anymore. At this point I was offered refund or anything else.
on 4/7 I was for the first I was they would start the refund process, what ever that. Was also told on 4/7 that my card would not be charged until item has shipped item #

Now the employees of the Stage/Hwy 64 location aren't all bad but most of them are very immature and rude. There are some good ones like Ryan and Andy, but you a few like Westly. Not only is he loud and rude but very disrespectful towards women. While Andy (a female Hispanic) was assisting me with my purchase, he came over and hit her in the arm. It wasn't a pat but a punch that clearly hurt. She was obviously embarrassed and not once did he apologize for hitting so hard. He looks at her and began mocking her and saying that he barely tapped her. He went on antagonizing her about the punch. Some other guy joined in and began talking about how she has an attitude today. I didn't appreciate that at all because of how uncomfortable and embarrassed she was in front of a customer. Also, because of how hard he hit her. She may have been in a bad mood but it was never shown to me and didn't warrant being punch. Then a older woman was asking him questions about her payments and he got very loud with her. The lady was clearly old enough to be his mother yet he treated her very poorly. He showed more attention to the younger lady, with a child playing, than he did with the older woman who had an issue.

As a business, you and your employees have a duty to it's customers and have to provide a level of professionalism far beyond what we've seen. In a time like this, discrimination, humiliation, defamation, etc will not be tolerated. He needs to be FIRED! I won't even get into the chair from my table being broke because I don't want to have anything else to do with this business anymore. You have lost two customers.
