When I recognized it was having a problem with my furnace, I contacted American Mechanical to see what they could to do to get it going again Needless to say, giving the age of my furnace, replacement parts were not going to be abundantly available, if at all So, I was certain I would have to shell out several *** *** to replace the 30+ year old unit On October 15, 2015, James *** was dispatched and came out to evaluate the issue He was able to secure compatible replacement parts and configured them to work with my unit
It would have been very easy for James to tell me that my unit was too old to be repairedBut he didn't It took him several days checking with different suppliers and other contacts to find the parts he needed to get my furnace going again I appreciate that he made the effort to save me an unplanned expense of a replacement unit When I do replace the unit, I will be confident that American Mechanical and James *** will get the job done to my satisfaction

Luke and John did a great (all day) job to help us with a new HVAC system We were pleased with their professionalism
More so, Luke was excellent in detailing the changes between our new/old systems We now have a comprehensive understanding of our role in taking care of the units

My generator went out during a storm, American Mechanical, Inc was able to fix my generator and get it back up and running as if new.

Steve [redacted] and John [redacted] came today to fix my generator. I have never had two more pleasant, nicer, more competent repairmen in my house. They did an excellent job and just as important were a pleasure to have on the premises. Personality goes a long way in satisfying customers, and these two men are gracious and friendly in addition to being excellent at their job. The generator thanks them, too.

I will add that dealing with American Mechanical's front office (Lou is the only name I remember) is likewise a pleasure.
