We have a rental property in Virginia Beach, last month we had a leak in the kitchen at the rental and contacted American Mechanical, Inc. for a plumber. Mr. Chuck B responded to the emergency sooner than we had anticipated saving us money as well as keeping our tenant in the home. After a long day at work and being frustrated and upset it was great to hear that all issues were fixed within the day. His professionalism and courteously was well appreciated. I would definitely use American Mechanical for my rental and personal use.

Our technician, John Gordon, is the BEST. He managed to quickly diagnose a problem with our standby generator that had puzzled other technicians off and on for three years. John fixed on his first trip and it took him only about 30 minutes. He arrived on time, worked quickly, and thoroughly explained the problem and what he did to fix it. We call American Mechanical every year to provide maintenance service and always request John as our technician.

John G., the electrician, was at my house yesterday to install new light fixtures. He did an excellent job and worked very quickly. A very nice man, as all of American Mechanical people seem to be.

On 4 Nov 2011, American Mechanical, Inc. representative, Mr. Steve Boyd serviced my electrical claim issue from Dominion Products and Services. Mr. Boyd's technical expertise, interpersonal communication skills, and customer service was exceptional! He quickly diagnosed the problem areas, articulated the course of action, and performed the work. His professionalism is of the highest caliber. His word is trustworthy, and he has a great sense of humor. In closing, Mr. Boyd is the "go-to" expert! I would call on him again, and I would highly recommend him to other citizens!

I have had American Mechanical service my generator for several years. Tim came out today to service it. It was the first time having him service it. He was so friendly and did a wonderful job as I have had in the past. Customer service at this company is superb. On a rating of Tim for his service it would be 5 stars with 5 being the highest. I highly recommend this company.

I recently had a problem with a clogged sewer line. American Mechanical came to the rescue. Rebecca in the office went out of her way to get things rolling quickly. Rich P was the plumber who came to the house. He was very patient in letting me explain the chain of events. He assessed the situation and then discussed the best way to correct the problem. He was very courteous and a tremendous worker. I was so pleased with this company that I would use them again and recommend them to family and friends.

John provided a thorough test of our heat pump and took the time to educate us on the workings of a heat pump. Especially with this cold weather that info was very helpful.

I would refer American Mechanical and especially John C. to all that need a service to take care of your unit year round.

American Mechanical emergency plumbing. Travis x arrived promptly and had me fixed in a jiffy.
3rd or 4th time American Mechanical service our home; major crawl space plumbing disaster summer of 2016 and replaced old AC unit with much better Trane system. First time I called was for simple minor plumbing repair (that I had no clue how to repair) and satisfaction has continued to date. All service agents have been very courteous and professional. Relieved that Travis ** saved the day, I thought sure my home would flood from broken pipe.
