I have received the response and it does not resolve my issueI have attached all correspondence between usThe company says that they never stated on their site that 'Confederate' flags are made in /AmericaOnly American flagsThe Confederate flag is an American flagIt is 'officially' titled the 'Confederate Flag of AmericaIn the company's email dated 9/**/it states that this particular Confederate flag was discontinued as a US manufactured flagI took that to mean AFTER I had received my American made ones, the only ones they could provide for replacement were foreign madeThe email goes on to state that I can get any of other Confederate Flags that are STILL manufactured in the USThis statement says the Confederate Flags I purchased were made in the USA but are no longer available as a USA product, but other Confederate Flags are.They did offer to replace my flags with similar flags now made in a foreign placeI did not want these flagsI sent pics of the ink smudged flags as requestedI asked for a refundI was not told, as you can see in the emails, that the manufacture was not the same as the Gadsden manufacturer.I have attached the return/exchange formI was not interested in an exchangeTo return the product, it would have to have been received within days of receiptThan had passed during our conversationsAlso, there is a 20% restocking fee and a non-refundable outbound shipping and handling fee removed from my original paymentNot a good deal.I will gladly return them for a complete refund of all my money

Typically when there is an issue with an order a business will go out of their way to make it right including an upgrade at no additional chargeHad I chosen to down grade to a lesser product I would have then been below the minimum for freight allowed and they would have charged me for freight. This was their issue not the consumers issueTherefor they should have accepted 100% of the responsibility not the consumer. I was trying to ask questions of the woman on the phone she became irritated by the questions of asking why would I have to pay more for an upgrade when I was told my product was in stockShe grew upset and hung up on me. I have never ever been hung up onI have not been treated so poorly by customer serviceWhen trying to call again I was again hung up on probably because of caller ID. Looking at other complaints I am not the only one who has experienced this issueThey need to work on their customer service. I will never ever buy from this company againThey should not have an A rating for Revdex.com. My suggestion is that they be removed from A status with Revdex.com for how they treat their customers.

ftconfederate flagAs we have indicated on our site on every confederate flag page and also on the shipping page of our site and on our phone message since June ***: Please be advised that due to unprecedented demand for our confederate flags, shipping may take several weeksWe do, however, have them in stock and orders will be shipped in the order they are receivedWe have this note on the site because we received several thousand more orders than we typically receive and as such, fulfillment is not as quick as we typically provideOrders are shipping on a daily basis in the order they are receivedThe most recent shipment of x ft nylon confederate flags we received from our manufacturer was damaged and as such we asked *** *** if he would like to change his order to a lightweight polyester confederate flag or a higher grade nylon or if he would like to cancel his order and r eceive a full refundHe became very belligerent with our customer service representative who was patiently trying to explain the situationAs he was becoming more heated during the conversation, the customer service representative simply refunded him in full and cancelled his order, which she told him and which we emailed him on July *** to the email address he provided on his order form

My original complaint was concerning the quality of theses flagsThat still standsI would like to have my money returnedI have attached pictures of the 'canvas' edge of the flags I receivedThe first picture is of another flag I purchased side by side to one of the flags in questionThe following pictures are of an individual flag edge and then I went to their website and took pictures of the flags that are of the quality I should have receivedYou can clearly see that the edge on these flags online do NOT allow the flag material to show throughIn other words, you can see clearly through the binding edge of the ones I received while the ones pictured are opaqueYou can see no red or blue through the edges(I did notice the price had dropped on these flags from the $I paid to $36.00)I took several pictures from their site but I was only permitted to send Again, I refer to the email that the company representative sent saying she had 'other' confederate flags that were made in America, as these 'no longer' were

[Your Answer Here]I RECEIVED A MESSAGE FROM American FLAGS, THEY ARE SAYING I CAN RETURN THE ITEM, BUT WILL INCURR A 20% RE STOCKING FEE, PLUS I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE POSTAGE TO SEND IT BACK, I've PAID THE SHIPPING ONCE WHEN ORDER WAS PLACED, BOTH THINGS, 20% RE STOCKING FEE, AND POSTAGE FEES ARE UNACCEPTABLE. SEEMS THEY COULD SUPPLY A RETURN LABEL FOR THE ITEM, WHICH WOULD THAN BE SENT BACK, THEY DID SAY THE RE STOCKING FEE WOULD BE WAIVED IF I WERE TO PURCHASE A MORE EXPENSIVE ITEM. ALL IN ALL, VERY DISGUSTED WITH THIS OFFER TO SAY THE LEAST. BOTTOM LINE, I WOULD NOT RECEIVE A REFUND, MINUS THE 20% FEE UNTIL THEY HAVE RECEIVED THE ITEM BACK

It does seem that some form of a reply over the course of weeks would have been appropriate, such as the cause for a delay or an acknowledgment for receipt of my inquiries. I did forward emails over that time and had not received a reply or acknowledgement for any of those. To be essentially ignored over that time frame, only to be handed a "we were busy" reason, and only after receiving a complaint, is inappropriate, if not weak. By the way, I was extremely busy during that time frame myself, and my time is just as important as their time. However, I made time to follow up.I am glad that this has been resolved and that the company has finally responded
