The problem was not waiting but communication.I do not believe that I would have closure if it wasn't for the Revdex.com. For future orders, maybe a practice of not billing until the order is shipped. I believe that the matter has been settled to my satisfaction. As indicated in his complaint, [redacted] placed an order for confederate flags on 6/**/15. Since 6/**/15 (which is prior to the date [redacted] placed his order) AmericanFlags.com has had the following message appear in bold on every page of its confederate flag section of the site:Please be...

advised that due to unprecedented demand for our confederate flags, shipping may take several weeks. We do, however, have them in stock and orders will be shipped in the order they are received.[redacted]A similar message also plays on our voicemail, if customers are unable to get through to a live customer service representative, who are answering phones and emails as quickly as possible.Additionally, the shipping section of our website indicates the following: Orders generally ship within 48-72 hours, though some items may take longer, especially during peak times like Memorial Day, Flag Day, July 4th, Veteran's Day and Christmas. Shipping is calculated during time of checkout and we offer you the option of selecting a preferred shipping speed. Your shipping selection does not impact how quickly your order leaves our warehouse, but instead, the actual time your order is likely to be transit.[redacted]That being said, [redacted] chose standard shipping, that would be a 5-7 business day transit time after the order shipped - not the time it would take to receive the order from the point of purchase. We have cancelled [redacted]’s order and refunded him in full at his request.Please let us know if you need any other information. Per the confederate flag page of our website since June **, 2015 (in bold) [redacted]l , the shipping page of our website (also in bold) [redacted], and the message on our voicemail, "Please be advised that due to unprecedented demand for...

our confederate flags, shipping of these particular products may take several weeks. We do, however, have them in stock and orders will be shipped in the order they are received." Since the customer is not willing to wait for his order, we have gone ahead and refunded him in full and cancelled his order.

 First off, they state that their flags are made pin the USA, not true, as.mine has a "Made in China" tag on it, the idea of paying for shipping twice, seems to be to their advantage, paid once when item purchased, e expected to.pay again when item returned.  The company did say they would wave re stocking fee, if I were to make a purchase higher in price than my original purchase, seems like bait and switch.  This company has many complaints on the I internet about their business practices.  Weeks to.me that I would be money ahead, savings re stocking fee, and shipping  fees, if I simply took a loss on my original purchase price plus shipping fee, and trash this item.  Great customer service!!!,

The confederate flag is not the American flag. The 50-star American flag that is the current flag of the United States of America is the American flag. Under the customer's logic, if someone were to order an "American" flag from our company, we could send them either the 50-star current flag of the United States or the confederate flag and it would make no difference. This is a ridiculous argument. We guarantee that our American flags are made in the USA. We try our best to get US-made products for our other items, but we make no guarantee. If the customer would like to still send his confederate flag back to us we are happy to take it as long as is in new and unused condition. We will refund him under the terms of our return policy, which would be a 20% restock fee and original shipping would not be refundable. This is our final offer.

Customer placed order with a ship to address and a bill to address. We shipped via [redacted] to the ship to address. It was returned to us as "Undeliverable". We sent an email to the customer regarding this on 8/**/15. Customer's response was lost among the thousands of emails that we have received....

Customer placed this Revdex.com Complaint. We have shipped her flags to her bill to address as she requested later via [redacted]. No where in her initial order did she state that the order could not be sent via [redacted].

We only advertise that our American flags are made in America. Those are the 50 Star and 13 Stripes official American flags. Confederate flags are not American flags; they are from American history but they were not and have never been the official flag of the United States of America. The "Confederate" flag that most people mean should actually be a square and officially it is called the Confederate Battle Flag. We have never stated either online or over the phone that our Confederate flags are made in America. At one time, some of them were, but all of the major American flag manufacturers stopped making them this summer. At that time we were forced to find manufacturers overseas. Due to the timing issues with the thousands of Confederate flag orders, we were extending the 14 day grace period for returns. However, we still will only either replace the smudged flags with unsmudged flags from the same manufacturer or there wi ll be a 20% restocking fee and non-refundable outbound shipping as that is our standard policy.

Due to the overwhelming number of orders and their ensuing emails, we did not get to process the customer's order before they contacted the Revdex.com. We have refunded the customer in full for $37.49

Customer's compliant that his flag was not delivered is unfounded. Per [redacted], the customer's order was delivered on July [redacted] - you can see this using the customer's tracking # [redacted] which he was emailed. You can follow the package below, using info obtained from Stamps.com using...

We will continue to invoice him for the chargeback as outlined in our terms and conditions, which he agreed to when he placed his order:[redacted]"If you "chargeback" an order with your credit card company or with [redacted], please understand that we will pass along the $25 fee associated with that action to you."If the customer does not pay the fee, they are re-invoiced with finance charges which accrue for each month the invoice goes unpaid. All of our records and those of the [redacted] show this order was, in fact, delivered. Customer needs to pay their chargeback fee.

[redacted]'s AmericanFlags.com order # [redacted] was delivered on July **, 2015 via [redacted] tracking # [redacted]. He was emailed that his order shipped on July [redacted] at the email address he provided on his order form.

We informed the customer that his requested item was out of stock, he said that he would wait. We informed him that we would not be getting any more in. We never heard back in writing. We have cancelled his order and refunded him in full for $40.25

Yes, Americanflags.com did refund my money in full BUT if you read my complaint in full I gave the company a choice for them to choose as what was "priority" to/for them."Ship the items I ordered in good quality or refund my debit account with an apology". On July [redacted] upon ordering the items the website had IN GREEN, IN STOCK, so let me get this VERY clear "IN GREEN, IN STOCK". Otherwise I would have NOT placed an order with this company if I saw the wait time to be 2-3 weeks for shipping and OUT OF STOCK. It is the principality of the whole thing and how it has been handled (very poorly). With that being said, the manner in which this company replied to consumer complaints are unapologetic and without empathy for the customers that have been shammed by this company. I asked for an apology, and nothing. That is ok however for this complaint is over and done with and I no longer have to deal with these people anymore. Good Riddance.
