As indicated in his complaint, *** *** placed an order for confederate flags on 6/**/Since 6/**/(which is prior to the date *** *** placed his order) AmericanFlags.com has had the following message appear in bold on its confederate flag section:Please be advised that due to
unprecedented demand for our confederate flags, shipping may take several weeksWe do, however, have them in stock and orders will be shipped in the order they are received*** *** clearly did not read this disclaimer before placing his order.http://www.americanflags.com/cofl1.htmlhttp://www.americanflags.com/pocofl... similar message also plays on our voicemail, so that customers who are unable to get through to a live customer service representative have insight on the whereabouts of their confederate flag orderThere are absolutely no advertisements played on our phone lines whatsoever, so *** ***’s assertion that he listened to continuous ads on our phone line leads us to believe he dialed incorrectly. Of course they left out the important part of my message that I will not use my money to send back the flag that they sent me wrong they would have to send me a self-addressed stamped envelope and I would send it back to them which they never did they are just a bait and switch company and I will not give in to them and I will not give up pursuing them either so if they want to do the right thing we can settle this if not I will continue this I guess my next step will have to be small claims court

I did respond to their email regarding sending the alternate flag. Unfortunately, I do no have a copy of it but I do have copies of emails following up on my response asking about the shipment of the other flag as well as the pricing difference and when it would be refunded. I am also attaching copies of email that American Flag sent me regarding my refund that I still have not received. I just want my money refunded. As you can see, they have also Cancelled my order. First of all, I'm not sure where they got that I am a female, but that's neither here nor there.Second, the e-mail they sent me was sent to me days after I received the flag and e-mailed them letting them know of this advertisementThey mentioned that I have days from RECEIPT of the merchandise to return itSo why did it take them days to finally get back to me about it? Seems convenient that now the deadline has passed in which I could have returned it.Third, the Confederate Flag IS an American flagIt's not the current official flag of the United States, but that doesn't change the fact that it is, indeed, an American flagIt certainly isn't a Chinese flag, like the manufacturers apparently would have you believe.The site boasts "U.Sflags proudly Made in America"Now, that statement encompasses all types of U.SflagsIf it didn't, shouldn't they specify that only the official stars and stripes flags are included in that statement? Included is an attachment of the banner at the bottom of their site.This company practices very shady business tactics (getting back to me with one day left to return the flag when it would take longer than that just for the *** to deliver it), advertisement, etcPeople really need to stay away from this company.I will return this flag, but I need to know that not only is my dollars I paid going to be refunded, but also they need to cover the shipping charges to ship this back

As I stated, I am well aware the U.SConfederate Flag is not THE current official American flag (the stars and stripes), simply AN American FlagI am not seeing how you can argue this fact? Simply because it isn't the nationally recognized symbol of the U.Sdoesn't alter the fact that it is still a U.SflagAgain, on your site, you claim "U.SFlags Made in America", and again, I feel like I'm running in circles here, your site doesn't specify "only the stars and stripes flag made in America"The statement encompasses ALL flags that are U.Sflags

AmericanFlags.com emailed this customer on July *** that one part of his order was out of stockWe asked him to respond to the email to let us know if he would like to switch his flag to another size or material, but we received no responseCustomer's order has since been cancelled and refunded

As we had stated on our website we were overwhelmed with Confederate flag orders and phone/email messages regarding them. We did not get to fulfill [redacted]'s order before he made this complaint. We now have that size Confederate flag available and I have shipped it to go out on Monday 10/** via...

However, as we have stated previously, [redacted] agreed to our return policy terms and conditions when he placed his order, which can be reviewed at the following link: [redacted]The following is pulled directly from the link:"Shipping/handling is not refundable and returns incur a 20% restocking fee to cover processing costs. Outbound shipping costs are charged on returned orders that were shipped free.When returning a product to us, please use a self-funded method of shipping that will ensure delivery confirmation as we can't be responsible for lost packages."[redacted] may return his merchandise in new and unused condition for a refund under these terms.

The images that I provided to the company are attached to this response. The flag was installed correctly on the passenger side rear window as the clip is designed. This residue was only present on the car at the location of the bottom corner of the flags trailing edge, and was only present after having the flag on the car. This residue has been found nowhere else on the car, which disputes the business' claim that it is from driving through a puddle or parking under a tree. (If this residue were from driving through a puddle, it wouldn't be isolated to this one specific area; and I do not park near any trees at work, and I park in a garage at home.) In addition, in working with this company, they have disputed the evidence I have provided them. They have made no effort to investigate the matter, and in this response, they are even claiming that I misused their product. They made no effort to ask for more photos if they felt the ones provided were insufficient. They have refused to believe that their product caused this residue and have been unwilling to work with me to resolve the issue. They are only making wild claims to try to blame the issue on something other than their product.

Shipping is calculated during time of checkout and we offer you the option of selecting a preferred shipping speed.
