Good Morning, [redacted]
This is Steven K[redacted] from Anytime Fitness in [redacted]. I am just letting you know I am trying to resolve the issue with [redacted]. I have tried contacting her multiple times and left two messages but I haven't heard anything back. As soon as I work everything out I will let you know. Thank you.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 12, 2017/05/09) */
Revdex.com contacted the company and Mr. [redacted] explained this matter is now resolved, and he has responded to the consumer's attorney addressing all issues.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 14, 2017/05/16) */
(The consumer indicated he/she...

DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I requested the following, that [redacted]:
1. Delete my membership card picture and shred my fitness evaluation folder, and provide a clear written statement that he has deleted my Membership card picture and shredded my fitness evaluation folder, without making any additional copies of them, with his legal signatures.
2. Provide proper documentation for the cancellation of my so-called monthly gym membership, and the cancellation of forged private training session contract with his legal signatures.
He provided two documents to my lawyer, one from ABC financial and the page 2 (in regards to personal training sessions) that he had added later to make a 2nd contract. He hand wrote on both pages that my monthly and my personal training sessions are canceled. But the ABC financial document that he provided states that 'my account has been placed into a "pending" cancellation status, and as of now I don't owe any balance.' This document doesn't indicate that my account is in fact canceled. I need the document from ABC financial stating clearly that my account "is canceled."
He also didn't provide with a statement (with his signatures) saying that he has deleted my membership card picture and shredded my fitness evaluation folder, without making any additional copies of them.
His time is not more important than anyone else's, he needs to provide with All the proper documentation, asked above, ASAP!

spoke with you this morning regarding Austin [redacted], ID number [redacted].Like we discussed, I personally spoke with Austin and he said our Club Manager "Greg" refused to cancel his membership at our [redacted] club.  He said he spoke with him on more than one occasion however...

we have never had a Greg on our staff. Austin's membership was cancelled as soon as possible after him and I spoke so this matter is closed on our end. Thank you and let me know if you have any further questions or need any additional information.  Have a nice day

Hello [redacted],Just wanted to let you know all is well with [redacted] everything was taken care of and handle for [redacted].

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

I did speak with [redacted] in regards to his request for cash back for his building card.  We do have a $20 charge for the building cards (a fee, not a deposit).  He is not entitled to a refund for the card.   My employee (being new) was confused by [redacted]s request and...

demand of $20 back, so he made the mistake of offering to put a $20 credit on a credit card for him as we do not have cash on hand. The employee was wrong in how he handled the situation.  He should not have offered any type of refund at all, and definitely, not on a credit card. However, [redacted] is still not entitled to a refund.   My employee that sold [redacted] the card originally has been with the company for 4 years.  He is very aware of informing folks that the key is not refundable.  He also explained to me that he could vividly recall the conversation he had with [redacted] at the point of sale.  At that time it was very clear that there would be no refund for the card.   Thanks you.   Brian

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  I do dispute that their standard practice of requiring a cancellation form be completed is not stipulated in their contract, only a written notice.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I was able
To get another note from my doctor that I hope is satisfactory. If they accept the doctors note and follow through with cancelling the
contract then the problem is solved.

Hi [redacted]The assigned ID is [redacted].  We have taken over the ownership of the Anytime fitness club as of...

4/20/16 - but would like to respond to the complaint filed on 4/19/16 by [redacted].
It is the Anytime Fitness corporate policy to allow a member to cancel their agreement should they move more than 30 miles away from an Anytime Fitness location and NOT the location that they originally signed up.
As our assumption of risk and release form indicates "CLUB", this does not mean that if a member uses another club and hurts him / her self that we are liable or that "CLUB" is liable.
CLUB refers to all of our franchise locations.  When moving to a new location the local club them will relocate that member and that club has the ability to then collect the dues and contract that was originally signed by that member.
Please feel free to call / email me with any questions or concerns.
Thank you,
[redacted]

This member's membership was terminated upon the proper cancel obligations by the member as per the signed membership agreement.  The member firmly stated that she would contact the Revdex.com and anyone else until she received refund.  As a business, we can not deviate from company policy and legal practice to accomade this member's request.  This member continues to try escalate this matter by making false statements about the best practices of this business.
The matter was resolved in a professional legal manner as obligated by the business and we do not wish to engage in any further discussions regarding this matter.

This gym has terrible customer service. When I signed up for my membership I was told that I had to pay the first and last months membership fees up front which I did. I used the gym for 6 months when I decided that I no longer needed it. I tried cancelling but I was unfortunately locked into my contract for a year. When my year was up I went in to cancel and they refused to count my initial first months payment towards my cancellation. I have since been billed for two additional months membership and a maintenance fee since I have submitted my cancellation paperwork. I tried calling and e-mailing to find out what is going on and I get no response.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
During the same meeting I was told by the Woodside rep in my face that the clean up would occur prior to the street being repaired. This explains why nothing has been done to date. I am not waiting until April or May to have the street cleaned up. I understand that Woodside Homes wants to blame the homeowners for over watering and not act upon their word. This has gone on too long, the street needs to be cleaned.

Thank you for this opportunity to resolve this complaint.According to our records, the customer purchased an SEO Link Building (five keywords ) plan on March 18, 2015, after speaking with a sales representative. The cost of the plan was $499 and this amount is billed monthly. From reviewing the phone...

calls, it would appear this is a case of mismatched expectations. The product purchased is a long-term solution and would take time and funding to accomplish results. In this case, the customer wanted a product which would get him top spots in the search engines much sooner. The customer contacted us back on March 19, 2015 in order to cancel this service. We have canceled the service and issued a full refund of $499 back to the customer on the same day. We apologize for the misunderstanding and will be looking into ways to prevent situations like this from happening again. As a gesture of goodwill, we have also provided the customer with one month of hosting credit to his Homestead account, worth $90.

I spoke with our club manager about the situation. We only take cancellations via Certified mail or in person with a signature at the club. If no registered letter was received and signed for I can't verify the cancel date. I believe [redacted] did come in to cancel and she was no longer in her...

contract. We do cancellations all the time and I'm not sure why the letter was not received. Even if it wasn't certified we would have followed up. We always stop billing when a customer cancelled however we don't have any way of knowing if a customer is still being charged unless they are monitoring their accounts. If [redacted] wants to speak with me I am certainly willing to listen to her concerns. Scott R[redacted] Owner Anytime Fitness Farmington.

Please see the account notes on the attached file. On February 4th, 2016 the account had been closed with a special cancel reason- As stated on the agreement terms, "You are permitted to cancel this contract until midnight of the 3rd operated day after the date on which you signed the contract. If within this time period you decide you want to cancel this contact, you may do so by notifying the CLUB by any writing mailed or delivered to the CLUB at the address shown on the contract, within the previously described time period."Anytime Fitness waived that clause on the agreement because of the lack of communication of the Personal Training and Club.

The gym did not deceptively tell Mrs. [redacted] she was required to do the cancellation at the gym. The reason we ask for the member to come to the gym is to provide both parties a receipt of cancellation by filling out the form at the gym.  The reason for this practice is to avoid any chance that the cancellation letter sent via mail would possibly get lost and the cancellation would not go through. By us asking the member to fill out the form in person provides the assurance it will not get missed and to provide a receipt of cancellation (which I believed she turned down.). Again, we try to go above and beyond to accommodate any member with this policy to prevent any potential miscommunication or potential loss of a mailing. Unfortunately, this has occurred over years with members "claiming" they dropped off a letter or mailed it to us when we know it just wasn't true by means of our security cameras and check in system.  We are sorry she feels that we purposely delayed this process with her to gain another payment but it just isn't true. Again, she even could have called us back and told us she couldn't make it in the staffed hours we provide and we could have had someone stay a little later to get the cancellation done sooner if it was going to be such an issue.

[redacted] requested an immediate cancellation knowing that there is a 30 day notice required.  On April 6th upon her phone call, I immediately contacted abc financial to place the cancellation.  This was timely and again there is no dispute that she was responsible for the gym membership fee of $28.60.  Again, she is not disputing this charge now.   Rather, now she is disputing that she was charged on April 6th rather than later in April.  The reason this occurred on April 6th is because she requested the cancellation to take place immediately. So now she not requesting a refund, but requesting that her complaint stay in place due to her lack of knowledge that she would be charged immediately rather than at the end of the month.  Perhaps again, she should be aware of her contract that states that when she insisted a cancellation that one month will be charged and she would still have full access to the club for the next 30 days.  Again, she requested that her membership be cancelled immediately and I then immediately contacted abc financial to cancel her membership per her request. I am respectfully requesting that this complaint be dismissed.  Her lack of knowledge about the cancellation process does not excuse her abuse of this complaint process.  Thank you,

The business manager attempted to threaten my Dad if he did not pay this alleged debt. I followed ALL guidelines to have the account closed. I notified this business in person, via phone and in writing. I moved 2000 miles away and this business now says I owe for services that I never received. I am in the military now. The recruiter has notified this business regarding my status and they still refuse to comply with their own policy and rules.Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] I did in fact make this request numerous times. I also gave this business the attached letter. And, my father spoke to these people a few times regarding this problem regarding their business practice of calling family members and making threats. The Marine corps recruiter also address this issue with these people yet they continue to harass my family over this alleged debt that should have been closed out. These people have no ethics.Regards,[redacted]I was never given a copy of the contract. I cannot produce what I do not have.
