Indeed they called on initial arrival in October to keep telling us they would be later and later (hours late when they finally arrived) We stayed out of work because we had a morning arrival timeWe could have worked this day instead of waiting around the house held up by their delaysThis cost us a days wagesWhen it came to finally getting our property delivered, we had to keep calling to get the statusPeople would tell us they would call and keep us updated but this did not happenWe had to constantly call and stay on them to get our property while dealing with constant and blatant lies about when we would get our deliveryIt has now been days since our property was deliveredThey damaged multiple item - antique curio cabinet glass, antique marble table top, crushed boxes of crystal stemware and collectibles as well as damaging our newly installed storm doorThe delivery team was even aware of the curio cabinet and marble top table as they saw the damage for themselvesWe had insurance coverage yet nobody from Apollo has contacted us to compensate for the damages they causedThirteen days have gone by and nothingThey do not care and are full of lies and excusesThe reviews clearly show they are an awful delivery company that nobody should have to deal withThis will not be resolved until we are compensated for the damages they caused!!!

1) I know that there is a two-day window to pick up the items but during the booking process, I was told that I would get a call confirming the pidateI did get a call from the carrier 'Always Affordable' on 9/*/at 1:PM saying they will come on 9/**/After the pidate was confirmed with the carrier and also with Apollo when we called them on 9/**/2015, why should the two-day window be applicable? Does it mean Apollo has NO value for their VERBAL agreements? That is the behavior of an unscrupulous business. Apollo is talking only about their contract, what about VERBAL agreements? Can't their recorded phone calls be heard?
2) The cost went up because the carrier showed up day early deliberately to cause confusionIn this confusion, the carrier also lost/stole of our boxesInstead of bringing in dish packing boxes as agreed in the agreement, the carrier brought in boxes priced at $eachThese are all tactics to drive up the cost3) I did ask for day free storage on 8/*/around PM when the booking was confirmedAlso, this day free storage is mentioned in the agreement4) For our broken coffee table when I called, I was told that a customer service rep will call me back and tell me how to file a claimThis was on Oct *** and I still haven't got a call5) If EVERY bit of work is supposed to be done between me and the carrier what is Apollo charging me for?

utmostprioritiesWe regret that our customers, *** *** and *** ***, feelthat their move was not to the caliber of our usual movesIn these customers’case, they claim that our carrier’s movers left behind the side boards to a kingsize bed that was already disassembled at the pilocation and anadditional cost for additional required services and items to be movedWhat sets Apollo Relocation Services apart from almost allof our competitors is our Quality Assurance department that reconfirms all ofour customers’ move details and answers any customer questions or concerns priorto any of their items being loaded and transported by our carriersAsexplained to the customer during our Quality Assurance process, all items thatare disassembled at the pilocation by the movers will be reassembled atthe delivery locationThese service details are also listed on our movingestimate agreement under the “This Moving Estimate Includes” details as listedbelow: “Disassembly and reassembly ofall items disassembled by movers at pick up.”Unfortunately upon pick-up, this item (the king size bed)was already disassembled and hence not reassembled at the delivery locationSincethe item was already disassembled, the movers simply loaded and moved the bedthat was on the inventory list, not including the side boards or rails that themovers were unaware belonged to the aforementioned bedThe movers had no wayof knowing additional pieces belonged to this item, unless the customerthemselves advise the movers to also load these additional piecesAs for the left behind items, “the side boards and toy box”,customer *** *** who was at the pilocation was the agent in charge ofadvising the movers what items were to be loaded and movedThe customer didhave additional items that were not on the original inventory list and henceacquired additional fees as per the agreement as stated below:“If there is an increase of items, packing services, weight/volume orlabor services added at the origin or destination to those quoted in thisagreement, the customer may be charged for those services at full tariff rates.”And: “If youare going to add additional pieces/items to your inventory at origin, or ifyour inventory pieces/items are different in weight and/or volume from what wasestimated on this agreement: Carrier’sforeman will provide you with a revised written estimate on site including allcosts necessary for your move.” As per our procedure and agreement, the movers advised thecustomer of the additional costs for the additional items to be movedTheywere aware of the costs before the items were moved and were also advised byour Quality Assurance agent that all remaining balances were to be paid by cashor postal money order since those funds are to be immediately recycled by thedrivers for food, fuel, and lodging along their scheduled routeDuring the pick-up, movers will only load and transport theitems that customers advise are needed to be loaded and movedBecause ofadditional items, customers are advised to be specific about which items in thehome are to be loadedIf any items are left behind or not loaded, they are toadvise the movers immediately upon the last walk-through in the home and beforethe moving truck leaves the origin, as unfortunately was not done by thecustomer at the pilocationWe do understand that incidences, delays, and inconveniencescan occur during moves, especially long distance moves and we try toaccommodate to our customers’ needs as best we can when those incidences occur.According to our records, we have responded to all of these customers’ callsand inquiries, but what they must comprehend is that the faults that occurredduring the moving process can and must be addressed with the carrier thatperformed their move directlyWe have continuously tried to contact thecarrier on behalf of our customer to address and rectify this problem and willcontinue to do so until we get a responseAs our dispatcher advised thecustomer, we suggest the customer to file a claim with the carrier directly inregards to compensation for the missing itemsThe customer has made her concerns aware to us through anemail received yesterday, Monday, April *, which we are now working torectifyWe have made another attempt to reach the carrier again today to tryand help resolve the redelivery of her missing itemsWe do appreciate thecustomer’s acknowledgement that it was Jack who did not properly advise themovers of all of the items to be loaded and like stated previously, we arestill working to address the issueAs always, we are here and will continue torespond to our customers’ concerns through phone by calling ###-###-#### or emailat ***Customer care is our utmost concern andwe hope to help these customers reach an adequate solution to their dilemma

They appear to be in the business of scamming people by forcing them to sign something they couldn't possibly read in minutes and then enforce a "contract" that was never read or understood

We hired a company called Apollo Relocation Services on 6/**/for our move from Milwaukee to Houston 6/**/We signed a binding contract for $with them and were told they would do our move, but they hired Apex insteadApex showed up 6/** and disassembled and blanket wrapped our furniture, as required by contractOnce our things were loaded onto the truck, the driver told my husband in very poor English he had to sign a new contract and could not explain whyThe new contract was for $instead of the we were told aboutHe said he could not deliver our things to us if a new contract was not signedThere were additional charges that were not explained, such as "miscbulky item" for $150, and "long carry fee" for $75, despite the fact we had a sliding patio door in plain view that could have been used to get directly to the truckAgain, this was after the truck was loaded and they would not say what the bulky item was or why they couldn't have used our patio doorThey also threatened to not deliver our items if new contract was not signed, so my husband signed itThey said our things should be delivered within 4-business days, but the fine print on the back of the contract gave them up to business daysWe have called several times since then, almost weekly, and are told by the secretary that she can't see where our things are and she will have a dispatcher call us back but no one ever hasA few times we have demanded to speak to someone who can tell us something and have spoken to Sheila, the dispatcherEvery time she tells us a truck will be coming to Houston the following Monday or Wednesday, but the truck never shows up and if we are able to get a hold of Sheila again, she tells us the same thing about the following weekThey have caller ID and now know our phone numbersThe secretary answered the phone "Oh, it's you, hold on" and left us on hold for minutes on one occasion before telling us a dispatcher would call us backMonday August *** marked business days from the first available date of delivery, which was specified in our contract as 6/**/Apex has still not returned our calls or those of our attorney, and we have been living in an empty apartment with an air mattress and lawn chairs for almost months nowThey have all of our belongings stored somewhere in Chicago, and will not tell us when or if they will be delivered
We want our things delivered to us, and we are discussing litigation options with our attorneyWe do not think it is reasonable to pay $for the service we have receivedTwo months without furniture or clothing is not a reasonable expectation for anyoneNo one would agree to pay $for someone to take over months to deliver their belongings, especially given the horrific customer service we received, both from the movers as well as from the dispatcher and secretaryBottom line

Dealing with Apollo was the worst mistake of my lifeFirst they do not tell you that they are not the actual movers they give the booking to another moving companyThey tell you that they are not the type of business who quotes one price and then it increases on the day of the move Which was another lieI asked for a wardrobe box & when I got an email from Bryan & a call from Patricia in their quality control department it was not listed I tried calling & emailing both of them & I was unable to talk to either one of themOnce they book your move they will not speak to youThen when the movers came to pick up my items they would not leave the wardrobe box without us paying extra for itThey also do not tell you that each item is counted as one example kitchen set has chairs, leaf a top & legs so this was counted itemsThey charge you for each mirror & glass shelf to be wrapped this is not mentioned when you book it, but is in the fine printThen we asked to have the items stored they do this for days free one good thing they doWe then called to have items taken from storage & delivered first they said 90% chance they could be delivered on that day then we called to confirm & they made an excuse that they did not have a truck, then after another call the called back & said they found a truck which was a jokeDO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY IT IS BETTER TO PAY MORE MONEY & GO WITH SOMEONE ELSE

Hmm! *** *** and *** *** actually want you to believe that I simply FORGOT to mention a six foot pound oak armoire sitting in the middle of my living room on my original bid - the one I described to *** IN DETAIL as "weighing a *** ton," and that he simply documented as being a "cabinet." The keyboard that they mentioned is a children's toy that weighs about as much as my cat - to be fair, let's say pounds, and the stand is maybe about 5# moreAnd, that's not exactly furnitureI do NOT have a headboard OR a footboard - I have one twin sized daybed with a trundle that I also disclosed when I got my original bid - the one they simply described as two twin mattressesSo, let's cut through the *word redacted* and get to the facts that these men have failed to even address in their response to me, shall we? Fact one, I requested to cancel my contract and be issued a refund, in writing, three times and was refused, (see attached PDFs)All three requests were submitted less than hours after I was cooerced into booking this job under pretensesPoint in fact, one was submitted less than hours after the first conversationFact two, *** *** failed to adequately document the contents of my household - something I repeatedly tried to point out in a subsequent conversation with *** ***, (Here's what I said to him: "based on the quotes I've gotten from other companies since I first spoke to you, I believe that you are not adequately documenting the size and scale of my household, and I'm afraid that my quote will dramatically increase in price once the movers arrive")Each of the with other companies I spoke with were far more thorough in asking pointed and detailed questions about my belongingsThe response I got from *** *** was to say that "it doesn't matter how accurately they document my items because they far overestimate the weight so that the quote will cover anything they might have missed." I'm paraphrasing based on recall, but you get the ideaFact three, Apollo moving is accusing me of "adding items" after the factNice tactic - I believe it's called "blaming the victim to cover your own *word redacted*." Unfortunately, there's zero truth in itI did nothing of the sortIn fact, I was so worried about the lack of thoroughness in documenting my household, that I sold my washer and dryer to try to offset the cost I was anticipating when the movers showed up to stick it to me, and stick it to me is exactly what they didNice!So, no, I don't accept the response from this vendorThey used a classic aggressive used car saleseman approach to bully me into accepting the deal, when they should have let me walk away as I respectfully requestedBait and switch tactics are a low down dirty way to do business - BAD FORM - shame on Apollo for their underhanded methods and refusal to take responsibility for their rotten attitude!!! With every fibre of my being I believe that companies of this calibre do not deserve to be in business, nor do ANY companies that prey upon consumers using unethical and shady predatory practices like this company
