As stated previously, Apollo Relocation Services does hold courteous customer care as one of our utmost prioritiesOur calls are never rejected through our reception line, since they all come in through one line (our number) and cannot be identified until our receptionist picks up on the callWe advise all of our customers to reach us during our regular business hours to have any concerns addressed as promptly as possibleAs per the customer's claim that she was never advised to speak with the carrier directly, this statement is since we have in our file notes that *** *** was explained this on numerous times, each time we addressed her call, including on the dates of 4/*/15, 4/*/15, and 4/*/when she was advised to speak with the carrier directly for any overages and delivery concernsIn particularly, our dispatcher spoke with the customer personally on 4/*/and advised her to contact the carrier for a claims form in regards to the missing items listed in this same complaint. This response is not accepted because they provided no resolution They state that there was a delay to the time window provided and that they apologize, but nothing about what they are going to do about the additional charge that was assessed to us of $(see attached contract), for them to meet the specified time They state they will hand this off to a manager to review our file, however, we have made multiple attempts to work directly with them prior to filing this complaint and received absolutely no response from them since May *** and the one time they did respond on May *** was simply a bunch of garble highlighting the fee's that were assessed after the fact, with no explanation or resolution as to why they were assessed in the first place when all measures were taken in advance to make certain there weren't any additional charges, no less $4,more than what was originally quotedI was an actual resolution, an amounth that we will be refunded, provided to us through the Revdex.com If there will not be a refund, I want a very descript reason as to why not and the reason of the space utilized for the product is irrelevant considering a complete box count which was over estimated, along with pictures of all the non-boxed items was provided prior to pick up, based on this information the space should have been calculated accurately and we should have been quoted appropriately We aren't talking a couple hundred dollars over, this was almost $4,over that had to come out of an employees personal finances because the financial arrangement for payment was also not upheld This was an epic fail, and a mere, "*** *** *** ** ** * ***" will not suffice

The business is refusing to take any responsibility for any wrongdoing and misrepresentations during the process of our move from California to Texas. They first told me that the cost of the move was determined by the amount of boxes that we placed in the moving truckThey told me that I could have up to boxes in the truck before any new fees would be accessed. I packed only boxes that should have been placed on the truck, well under the maximum limit of boxes. Secondly, they placed a dresser in the truck that was large and bulky that we did not intend on moving nor did I want to be placed on the truck. It was an old broken dresser that I wanted to have thrown away. Lastly, when they showed up to the apartment, their subcontractors that they hired switched the original terms of the agreement by stating that the cost of the move would be determined based on square feet. I had my mother there only to allow the men into the house in order to take our things and place them on our truck since they were three days late and never showed up on the day they were supposed toWe were no longer in the state at the time of the move. The subcontractors took advantage of the situation and forced our mother to sign a contract without giving her an actual quote. When they did provide the quote, which we were told over the phone of the new price, we decided to decline their services because it was double the cost of the original quote of dollars. I would really like to have our property back and would really like that the original quote of dollars be honored. This whole issue has become a huge headache for my family. We would also like the Revdex.com to further investigate the practices of this company and the subcontracting company. It does not seem to be a common practice of the moving business to base quotes on square feet or boxes. The fact that they disregard the offer that was originally made is also a very sneaky way of conducting business by providing new cost at the time when the business arrives to house after they have already provided a quote that they claim they would not go over. In the end we detrimentally relied on their original quote over the phone that they misrepresented at the time of the move. We have also been denied access to see our bill of the original quote on the company's website. Please honor the original quote of dollars.We would just really like the business to honor their original quote of dollars

They have still charged me for $for not performing the servicesThe business is manipulting the "business day" to fit their own agenda and timeline. This was clearly not met and there is no reason why a simple call from the carrier/driver could have been made to inform us of the time and that they were still coming You can not claim "traffic and other issues" when hours difference from the provided time and the actual time of arrival without a single phone callTHE BUSINESS NEVER made a call to us and we had to call them multiple time to get any information (which was all lies about the "driver being on their way").As for the company offering a rescheduled date, we can not change our move out date due to being called to active duty and needing to be at the station so the offer to have this company reschedule the move is not an option and we would not trust this company anywayWe had to quickly pack a Budget truck and move it ourselves. Therefore we had to make other arrangements to get our move completed. Showing up to someone's house at 11:pm is not acceptable without any call or confirmation that someone was coming It seems the "day" and "business day" are what the issue is and the "business or close of busniess day" is not midnight!! I understand that the business would like to count until midnight on the final day of pick up but in there agreement it clearly states the close of business is 6pm They are also moving up their time that they arrived at our houseThey did not arrive until 11:pm That is when they rang our doorbellThe phone calls we made up until the movers arriving are all time stamped and we left voicemails as documentation. No crrier made contact per their own contract belowWe had no contact with carrierand no confirmation one was comingPer their contract below they did not meed their side of thedeal by the close of business on the 2nd move dayEven after we initiated contact multiple times to be made with carrier. We will not be satisfied until they refund our money back and they get consequences for overbooking and not being able to perform the services within the time frame. Apollo keeps indicating that "The customer has been delivered..." The fact is that the Customer has not been delivered. I did file a claim for the damaged and missing items but the fact remains that Apollo did not advocate on my behalf with the carrier they hired, throughout the course of this move. They did not advocate for me as they indicated they would on multiple occasions. My losses are a direct result of a lack of services delivered on their part as discussed during the call when I hired them. At the very least there actions in this matter were unethical - at worst they were fraudulent.
PROPOSED REMEDIATION:  As of today, ** March 2016, Apollo remains in breach of contract. Many of my items have been in transit for over 50 business days at this point. Other items were damaged, destroyed or are still missing. Requesting final and prompt delivery of my outstanding possessions and refund of at least ½ of the $1,850 ($925.00) I paid to Apollo Relocation Services and their sub-contractors.

This is the same answer we get each and every time....we did not sign off that all items were accounted for...the driver counted boxes and they were the right amount of boxes but they were opened and re taped. We wanted to go through them but I have a broken back and wanted to take my time. The driver said he had no time and if we didn't sign he would take the boxes and store them at our expense. I asked that t his company return my money immediate ly since when I opened the boxes we found things were missing...as for listing every item we were told that was not necessary so we listed various household items... The suits were Brooks brother suits tha t were brand new and $500 a piece.
tired of going over same stuff...this compa my has scammed several other people and I demand something be done to put them out of business. They refused to follow le a claim.over 8000 in merchandise  is missing and we will not stop asking for our $$ until the pay us or go out of business. They think we are going away but we are not....if they continue to ignore us the attorney general with be notified and we will also will be filing criminal charges.
please do something to protect the public from these lying crooks.

We apologize for any inconvenience to the customer. However the customer had more cubic feet than what he was quoted for. The customer was charged for 650 cubic feet in total,...

and was quoted 458. In total the customer was charged an additional 192 cubic feet at $2.94 per cubic feet. Which some of the items had to be packed for which was an additional of $135.00, which the total estimate becomes $2866. The customer agreed to these prices as well.

to them no one really wanted to talk to me. all everyone is sorry for my situation. I told her what if this gun that was taken
landed on the street and hurt someone where would I be, and I have to fly back to ny to retrieve the money and firearm and your 250 dont

The jury is still out on this one but we have two days to go and no choice. They have changed their price twice. They lied about their service and their ratings. They have no corporate officers apparently as we have requested them but we will see if our stuff is done and no additional hidden charges. We are attorneys so we will pursue if not treated fairly.

I feel as though my complaint has not been resolved appropriately, as no attempts have been made by the business to rectify the situation.
They have yet to acknowledge that they did not follow through on promises I was made regarding communicating my move. I was told by several representatives that I would be contacted 48 hours in advance of my move with details regarding a pick-up time. When I had not heard withing 24 hours, I emailed and called multiple times for details regarding my move, but did not receive a response. I was beginning to think that I was being scammed.
It was only until 18 hours in advance of my move that I was contacted by the company (and only after contacting them multiple times). This lack of communication, and follow through made it difficult for us to arrange other parts of our move, such as scheduling a walk-through with our landlord, arranging a shut off time for our power, picking pets up from the kennel, scheduling hotel rooms for family, scheduling a cleaning company, etc. It is unacceptable that we were only notified the night before as to when our movers would arrive. However, despite multiple emails and phone calls regarding this, Apollo has yet to address this complaint. 
I am still asking for a monetary refund to make up for their terrible customer service and lack of communication with their clients.
In addition, we continue to dispute the $135.00 in "packing fees" we were charged unexpectedly, as the movers did not have to perform any packing duties at the time of pick-up. Apollo has told me multiple times that they would contact the moving men for details as to these charges, but has yet to do so. We have not heard any further information regarding these charges, or a resolution for refunding this overcharge.
However, despite our continued back-and-forth, I am quite certain Apollo will not take any steps to help resolve the significant inconveniences they caused us or the overages we were charged unexpectedly. Although my complaint has not been handled appropriately, and I still am requesting a refund, I fully expect that Apollo will continue this trend of poor customer service and will show no desire to right their wrong's. I will 100% NEVER recommend this company, and will go out of my way to ensure that everyone I meet is made aware of Apollo's terrible practices. It is said that word of mouth is the most effective advertising, and I will use every opportunity I have to ensure that others never use this relocation company. 
Thank you for wasting my time and money, Apollo. Your business ethics are an excellent advertising tool to promote the business of your competitors.

Please see the original text of my complaint.  In addition, although they say they have no record of my calling - I have two emails dated Thursday, 9/**/15 stating no one had called me to provide the final time of my move and the company they had said would be moving me on Friday was out of business.  So, the fact that there is no record of my trying to contact them is simply untrue.
The cancellation policy does not apply since the company did not communicate with me and did not show up at the day and time they had said movers would be at my home.  In addition, when they finally did call me - they would not release the name of the company they said would now supposedly be moving me - and stated they were closing their office for the day and I could not speak to anyone else.
The business practices are unconscionable.  I reject their response.

I was never given a specific amount of the credit, but the agent said that because of all the problems related to the delay & the fact that the person meeting the truck knew none of the details of the contract, & was only there to sign the Bill of Lading, that I should receive a credit on...

my account. When I spoke to Seth, one of the supervisors, he told me the credit was requested, but then denied. He gave me no indication of the amount nor the reason for the denial. I'm requesting the $200 to reimburse me for the misinformation I received (and the lack of correct details) about packing, what needed to be boxed, based on my inventory list identifying exactly what I was moving. After the fact, I was told that it's up to the driver what needs to be put into boxes, & then pay outrageous amounts for additional boxes & tape. 
I understand the need to charge me for extra cu ft, but I thought that everything I listed was included in the revised estimate on 1/**/16. I was receiving phone calls as I was getting ready to board, & there was no way for me to even discuss the extra costs with the movers.
I believe I'm being generous for "only" requesting a $200. credit from Apollo, due to all the problems I experienced.

This company is totally unaccountable. I would not recommend this service to anyone. First the company charges me extra because the didn't properly access the weight of my items. The truck driver was trying to measle his way into extra funds. Then I receive a call asking when I can have my things delivered. We agreed to a date and the company totally disregarded the entire conversation and delivered the items before my apartment lease began. Then the company tried to charge me extra for a storage unit and for re-delivery services. They also tried to charge me for the driving waiting around even though I was only called hours in advance. The big move was from New York to Columbus Ohio. I received a call at midnight for a 8 am move-in. I was still in NY at midnight it would be impossible to get to Columbus in that amount of time.
