Argon Credit

A total waste of time, and misleading. On their website, I went thru the whole process of applying for a $1,100 loan. After completing the application, I received a response back within minutes saying "Congratulations," I have been approved for a $4,000 loan, with instructions to complete all my banking information for my loan deposit. Well, I completed everything as instructed, then tried to sign off and send the completed documents as instructed. My loan application didn't appear to go through, so the next morning, I called the Argon office to verify if my documents had been received. I was placed on hold by the phone Rep, and had to call back a 2nd time after we somehow became disconnected. The 2nd time I called, a different Rep answered, then proceeded to ask me the same identifying questions as before. She also put me on hold, but returned a few minutes later to tell me that my loan application had been declined, and that I can reapply again in 30 days. Sorry, but they don't have to worry about me reapplying, and I will be at my bank first thing in the morning to change my banking routing and account numbers.

We have spoken with Mr.[redacted] on multiple occasions, each time expressing our sincerest apologies for the error in question. pull from his account, the service was deactivated and the funds debited for payment were reversed. We also advised the customer Argon will cover any fees billed for unsuccessful purchases with his banking institution should the draft disrupt his normal account activities. We simply requested he submit a copy of the transactions in question so we would know the exact dollar amount needed to correct matters.

Attention!!! Do not do business with this company. I was approved by them on 2/10/16 for 3100. I sent in the required documentation on the assumption that I was going to be funded. I called to see how my funding was going and spoke to Amanda in customer service. She checked my account and and said everything was fine and that she needed to verify my my housing status. After I informed her I was buying she said everything was good. About 10 minutes after I spoke to her I then get an email that I was declined. I called back and spoke to Amanda and asked her what was the reason for the decline and she could not give an answer. Asked to speak to a supervisor and she had every excuse to not get one even though I could hear people in the background. So beware do not do business with this company. They are very shady.

The notification of the loan approval is an approval based on meeting conditions before final approval and funding.  If you need more info on this process, let us know.

Ms. Burris requested a PAID IN FULL letter from Argon.  As of today, Ms[redacted] should have already received the requested letter.  Argon would once again like to apologize for the situation that occurred with Ms[redacted] account.

This is a terrible loan company. They said I was approved for $1500, they had me submit all my information and sign loan documents only to tell me I wasn't approved I even signed a contact. Then I later received a email stating that my loan was denied. Such a waste of time and now they have all my personal information

Spoke with the customer on Tuesday, September 27, 2016, to explain the early processing of her most recent payment was due to a technical error within our new billing system. After uploading the account information into the new system, the customer's payment date reverted back to its original date...

of the 12th. Previously, all payments were scheduled for the 27th of each month. A recent request to move a payment to the 28th was denied because the customer missed the cutoff to make the adjustment. Our records indicate the customer was made aware of this fact.  We also explained our billing was previously handled by a third party who is no longer affiliated with Argon. With all Account Servicing now being handled in-house, we assured the customer we'll do all that we can to assist with correcting her financial hardship. Argon has offered to cover all fees associated with and caused by the early payment processing. However, the customer has since closed the account due to an ongoing personal dispute with the bank. I am rejecting this response because: It still does not address the signed contract. I do not want to re-apply, this lender only wants to steal people's information, and seeing that I have read I am not the only one who has experienced this. Something in their process needs to be addressed and fixed.

DO NOT LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS ON THIS SITE. The people with negative comments slander this company because they were not approved. While the approval process did take time and effort I was able to get my loan from Argon when no one else would loan me anything. They gave me enough to make a down payment on a dependable vehicle and allowed me to start my life and not be limited to my hometown anymore.
