I am rejecting this response because: ? The company keeps talking in circles? When I spoke to them originally they kept telling me 'It is illegal to delete the item from the credit report' which is untrue based on the fair credit reporting act? I offered to pay the amount not even knowing what it is for just to get this removed from the credit report?

We have reviewed the accountThe reason that we cannot discuss the account with the complainant any longer is that she indicated she was recording our calls without our permissionThat being said the account has already been returned to the original creditor and the account has been requested to

We have reviewed all attempted calls to the consumer and all the notes associated with the accountThe consumer stated that we in used inappropriate language when speaking to him including swearing at himWe record all phone calls and at no time did anyone use inappropriate language this is simply

I am rejecting this response because: I have no clue why this company is harassing me and my familyAnd yes they has give out my personal information because they called and harassed my mother about whatever it is they are claiming! They do not ask what your personal information they just say hey is your address *** whatever stAll I had to say was sureEven when asked my social number I said sure if you want it to beIf I was a hacker I could steal the identity of whoever they could be calling forTelling us we HAVE to pay them and we HAVE to listen to them! They are very demanding and the moment you disagree with they become very angry and rude! I have NEVER received any paper work from this company and I do get mail dailyI just want this company to leave me and my family aloneThey call and harasse me, my spouse and my parents.?

We have reviewed the account*** *** was not the collector for *** auto they are the lenderNo monies were borrowed directly from the merchantThis was a private label account.? ? We are simply closing and returning the account to the creditor to pursueWe are closing this on our system and deleting from creditHowever to be clear that does not mean the debt is not owedThe debt is being returned to the original creditor to pursue as they see fitWe no longer hold the account and any further correspondence should be directed to the creditor

We are happy to remove the phone number we are calling in error. We have no interest in calling the wrong party. However the complainant did not include the number in his complaint so we cannot remove this without that number.

We have reviewed all calls and recordings. The complainant was previously set up on a hardship arrangement. These arrangements were conditional upon the her honoring the payments she agreed to. However her payments have been repeatedly returned. She spoke with a manager yesterday and was...

advised that we could no longer honor these payments.  
The debt does incur interest as it is a loan. The original balance was 14,484.20 she has paid 75.00 and accrued 674.35 in interest. The current balance is 15083.54
 
We are happy to send documentation that would detail the loan. This information will be requested today from the creditor and mailed to the consumer. However after reviewing the recordings this is the first time this information has been requested despite the statement in the complaint. 
 
In addition, after review of the recordings we can confirm that at no time was any information shared with a 3rd party nor did anyone ever refer to the consumer as a "loser". The statements made by the consumer in this complaint are false.

We have updated the phone numbers on the account to reflect the correct information. All calls to alternate numbers will stop. We have also replied to an email the consumer sent us giving her our hours of operations and options with how to contact us.

We believe the consumer is misunderstanding our response. When we say we are removing from credit that does mean that it will be "completely erased". This was requested to be done on 10/30/15...

and the credit recipient agencies should have already processed this request. If the tradeline is still appearing the consumer should contact the Credit Reporting Agency to dispute and can contact our offices to receive an AUD# verifying the removal.

We received notification from the debtor of the bankruptcy 5-6-2014. We requested removal from the credit report at that time. This account is not open in our system and removal was requested.

The burden to notify and keep accurate with the credit bureaus is ATG. If ATG indicates that they have removed the tradeline, I ask that ATG then also send me written confirmation of such, so that I may dispute the inaccurate information with each bureau (with the letter from ATG as my proof).

Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act it is our responsibility to provide accurate data to the credit reporting agencies. We did do that. It is false to claim we are responsible for the CRA's maintenance of their databases or their reporting. You may print the response to this complaint and present to the CRAs in a dispute. However that is not necessary in order to dispute erroneous reporting.
We, as a further courtesy will provide the AUD Control number which is proof that we have submitted this for removal. The # is XXXXXXXX.
We consider this matter completely resolved at this point.
