We have several accounts in the same name as this complainantHowever to verify identity we would need the SSN for the complainantBe aware these accounts were reported correctly therefore if this is not the proper person this would need to be brought to the CRAs (Credit Reporting Agencies)
Regarding having a contract with ATG Credit, please understand we are a collection agency and consumers with outstanding debts would not need to sign a contract with us for obvious reasons.

I am rejecting this response because:We are running around in circlesI need a statement so that I can mail in my paymentAnd even though the business states they are mailing me statements, I am not receiving them which leads me to believe that this statement is falseBirthday cards make it to me from out of state, my bills make it to me which come from inside the city (even though sometimes we wish they wouldn't) but the one business I'm complaining about can't seem to provide a mailed statementThese statements usually have the account number on them, along with the remaining balanceThis ensures that both parties records are correct and that my payment is indeed getting processed to the right accountHere I even go a step further by making sure the account number is on my check and that the check number is on the statementNo mistakes madeIf there is anything on my credit report that I am refusing to pay, that will be considered informationI have offered three solutions; email my statements, snail mail my statements, or have me personally come in and make the paymentNone of the options are inappropriate requestsIt's what I've required from all debts that I have owned in the past and paid offNo other company has ever given me such a struggleNo one has had an issue to send statementsThey want their moneyIt's an easy fixI would accept a current statement via emailIf Elliott wants to call to let me know he is sending it, and to confirm that I did receive it, I'd be happy to take the time out of my day to thatBut I will not, will not make a payment without a statementThat's not asking too muchAnd it's not refusing to payIt's being a wise consumer.

The consumer would not have a contract with ATG Credit because we are a collection agency attempting to collect a debt from herObviously she would not need nor have a contract with usOur customer, the creditor, has a contract with usThe contract she signed was with the creditor who we work for and a copy of that contract would be mailed to her.

This complaint was already addressed through the CFPB portalThe account is closed and any inquiries can be made directly to the client.

We have already addressed this issueWe cannot release information on a medical debt without verification of the consumers identityThe consumer can feel free to contact the CRA's or the medical provider directly however without being able to verify the identity of the consumer we simply cannot release his medical recordsThis would be a direct violation of the HIPAA regulations.

Just to reiterate there is a balance remaining of but we are removing her payment information so if she wants to re-establish arrangements she will need to contact us

They always issued me monthly statements reflecting payments with balances and the same account numberThe last statement was for the amount of less than $Now they are stating I have an outstanding balance of almost $yet the refuse to provide me with any detail statements showing what this "new" balance and supposed "new" actI gave authorization for withdrawals on the old actsNever was I informed of this new one yet its coincidental it arise as I just paid of the debtI do not authorized no withdrawal from ATG in any future accounts

We are happy to provide details as well but due to the HIPAA and privacy requirements we would need a patient authorization form signedWe would suggest the consumer contact our offices directly as there seems to be some confusion as to these chargesWe are happy to assist our number is XXX-XXX-XXXX and she may ask to speak to a manager

We are required to comply with all regulations in conducting our businessThe FCRA specifically prohibits the removal of valid trade information due to payment.

Due to the age and balance size of the account we are simply closing the account and will remove from credit

This account is already in a disputed statusWe have requested all validation documentsOnce those are received we will issue to the consumer

We have placed the call in a NO Contact status and removed the phone numbersThe account will remain in this status and calls will cease

We will need to once again point out that we did not have this account in and the employee in questions was not employed by us in The only document we received was for a different account and not the one we are collecting on. If the item that was mailed according to the complaint has information regarding this account we are happy to address thisHowever the last document sent to us was for a completely different account? We are happy to work with the complainant and again would ask him to call us and ask to speak to a compliance managerWe would like to help him get this clarified but the information provided thus far does not address this accountMaybe there is some confusionWe are happy to assist but he would probably be best to speak to one of our compliance managers directly

I am rejecting this response because:This debt was not paid to your organization, no itemized lists were provided upon asking, debt was not validated as per the request of the customer, refusal to discuss debt, refusal to contact customer or accept calls from customer violates the FDCPA Act under inability to validate debt, original creditor, and lack of written verification of debt upon dispute of the report.The collection report under the credit bureaus is falsely reported under these circumstancesPlease move forward with removing this report, as the balance was not paid in full to your organization

We have reviewed the accountWe updated the account to the credit reporting agencies on 04/05/The tradeline would not be removed but it does reflect as paid in full thoughWe are restricted by the FCRA and therefore cannot simply remove the tradelineWe hope that helps to clarifyWe did
review all the calls and there was no time where a representative indicated we would remove the tradeline.?
