Since this account is in someone else's name according to the complaint there is no way for us to locate the account in question and respondWe would recommend the consumer either contact our offices and ask to speak to a compliance manager or she can dispute these charges through the credit reporting agenciesWe simply cant adequately respond without knowing the account in question.?

We have reviewed the accountLetters have been issued on this account and emails did in fact go outWe cannot guarantee delivery of mail or emails but they were sentIf the consumer would like to make monthly payments she is welcome to do soShe does not need to do them via phoneShe can pay online or mail them to our offices as wellThe address of the website is WWW.ATGCredit.com and the address for mail is [redacted] ***We would ask that she advise us of the amount and dates that the payments will be madeWe do have arrangements currently in place but would like to verify theseThis will allow us to re-set her arrangements and letters to be issued to herBear in mind if a letter isnt received that does not mean it was not mailedWe do mail arrangement letters automatically through our system so there is no space for human error.? We do not accept in-person meetings so any communication can be made via email to [email protected] or thru the websiteWe are sorry that the consumer felt we were rudeWe do strive to be as service oriented as possible despite the difficulties that we face in our industryIf the consumer has any further questions we would ask her to contact us via email or mailWe have placed a no contact status on the account so that she no longer will receive phone calls from us?

Unfortunately without verification of the identity of the consumer we are legally not allowed to release this informationSo without a way for us to verify the identity of the person requesting information we cannot release this to anyoneHowever bear in mind that this is a medical debt and it would be highly unlikely someone would seek medical attention and provide a bad SSN and also have the same name and an insurance card for the consumerAlso be aware these bills are paid and the insurance also paid a portion of the debtSo these are reporting as paid collectionsIt seems unlikely someone would provide information in the manner described and then pay the debt as wellIf the consumer can provide their SSN we are happy to send out the itemization of the debt to themThis can also be requested from their insurance providerHowever without verification of the identity of the person requesting medical records we cannot supply this information

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The company keeps talking in circles When I spoke to them originally they kept telling me 'It is illegal to delete the item from the credit report' which is untrue based on the fair credit reporting act I offered to pay the amount not even knowing what it is for just to get this removed from the credit report Sincerely, [redacted]

We understand the consumers frustrationHowever he states he sent us copies of cancelled checksWe simply do not have theseIn fact he stated he sent these initially in 2011, but we didn't receive the account until 6/12/and the last purchase was in 10/2012, so we couldn't have received this informationHowever if we can get this information from the consumer we are happy to bring this to the bank so that they can resolve thisWe want to work with the consumer despite his statements but we do need some documentation showing this was resolvedIt should be possible to get a copy of the cancelled check showing this as resolvedOnce we receive that we will do whatever we can to get the bank to resolve this debt.? ? If the consumer has any other questions he can contact our office at [redacted] and speak to a compliance manager

It is a violation to offer a pay for deletionIn other words to knowingly accept payment in order to remove a valid tradeline would violate the FCRAIn addition it would violate the contracts we have with all the credit reporting agencies wherein we guarantee to report accurate informationAs this is an accurate tradeline we cannot simply delete

While we empathize with the complainant, she did open the loan and agreed to repayment of the debtThe complainant has paid $and her balance is $76,We do not dictate settlement terms those are up to our clientHowever our client would not be able to settle this debt for the amount paidWe are happy to discuss repayment however there are limits to what is acceptable to our clientIf the complainant would like to discuss this account she may call our offices and speak to a member of our management team, but she must be realistic in her expectations for adequate repaymentThere isnt a way to settle the debt for 3% of the overall balanceAgain we must take our clients best interests into consideration on any repayment plan

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:We are running around in circlesI need a statement so that I can mail in my paymentAnd even though the business states they are mailing me statements, I am not receiving them which leads me to believe that this statement is falseBirthday cards make it to me from out of state, my bills make it to me which come from inside the city (even though sometimes we wish they wouldn't) but the one business I'm complaining about can't seem to provide a mailed statementThese statements usually have the account number on them, along with the remaining balanceThis ensures that both parties records are correct and that my payment is indeed getting processed to the right accountHere I even go a step further by making sure the account number is on my check and that the check number is on the statementNo mistakes madeIf there is anything on my credit report that I am refusing to pay, that will be considered informationI have offered three solutions; email my statements, snail mail my statements, or have me personally come in and make the paymentNone of the options are inappropriate requestsIt's what I've required from all debts that I have owned in the past and paid offNo other company has ever given me such a struggleNo one has had an issue to send statementsThey want their moneyIt's an easy fixI would accept a current statement via emailIf Elliott wants to call to let me know he is sending it, and to confirm that I did receive it, I'd be happy to take the time out of my day to thatBut I will not, will not make a payment without a statementThat's not asking too muchAnd it's not refusing to payIt's being a wise consumer.? I agree with the resolution proposed by ATG and appreciate the courtesy extended given the fact I was not notified I have checked all my three credit reports and entry has been removed from [redacted] and [redacted] However, [redacted] is marked as updated because account is showing as closedHowever, it is not removed Could you please re-verify update sent to [redacted] I expect the issue to be resolved given my experience on the phone and with ATG representative hereAs a result, I am marking this issue as "resolution accepted"
