Our office is in receipt of this complaint and has responded to the customer's concern accordingly Electric service was restored to Ms [redacted] residence on 02/20/ Ms [redacted] was contacted but there was no answer Our consultant left a voice message for a return call if further assistance was needed Thanks

DTE records show customer's dispute was resolved through the complaint filed with the MPSC.The case has been closed, the issue resolved and customer is paying as agreed

Our office has reviewed Mr [redacted] concerns and contacted hin to discuss We explained that his account is enrolled on BudgetWise Billing with a monthly plan amount of $ This amount is based on his average usage consumption We explained that since the account is enrolled on BudgetWise Billing, he may pay his bill anytime during the month that his bill is due without incurring any penalties, late payment charges We explained to Mr [redacted] that due to system limitations and meter reading cycles, we are unable to set an exact due date each month Mr [redacted] was not satisfied with our efforts to assist him

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your rejection of the business's offer Revdex.com: I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of why I am rejecting this offer appear below: In response to [redacted] ***'s reply to you: Per my original complaint, you will see that the meter was only tested once, and the meter checker CONFIRMED with me that the meter had major issues, and was not reading correctlyI was there, observing while he testedDTE ignored this man's report to me and told me that they didn't care if my bill was up to 10x that of my neighbors'I asked DTE repeatedly to come back and test it again, but they refusedI repeatedly asked for this to be checked over the two year period that I lived at the address in the complaintThey repeatedly refusedMy bill, again, was consistently MUCH higher than all of my neighbors in the same building, and higher than the highest bills that the management at the complex had ever received themselvesI lived in the smallest apartment, by myself, rarely using any electricity outside of appliances (refrigerator, tv, lamps)One of the management at the time reported to me that she lived in their largest apartment, with other people, and her DTE bills were far lower than mineI have NEVER, neither before nor after living at the location in my complaint, had an electric bill from DTE anywhere near the size of what they were trying to charge me at this locationMy DTE bills before living at that location were around $or less per monthLikewise, where I live now, my DTE bills are between $and $40/month, a small fraction of what they were trying to charge me at the complaint locationFurther, DTE is trying to treat the service in my current location (Troy, MI) as if it is the same account from the [redacted] location in the complaint, and consistently charging me late fees of up to $every month on top of these overcharges from the former location, threatening to turn off the electricity in my current location, despite it being paid IN FULL every month with no issuesThey are to separate these two accounts and keep them separateI've filed a formal complaint with the AG Consumer's Division and the MPSC to review DTE's conduct in this matter, and determine whether criminal activity on their part is prosecutable by themIf they aren't able to prosecute, I will be having my attorneys file suit against them for not just the amount that they claim I owe, but we will go back over the bills from the full year period at this location and determine how much was overpaid compared to what would be considered reasonable, and sue for damages on top of that Regards, [redacted] ***
