Our office has investigated Ms [redacted] concerns and provided the following resolution: On 04/27/2015, Mr [redacted] was contacted regarding his concerns We explained that a letter addressing his concerns was mailed to his attention on 02/28/ Mr [redacted] stated he never received the letter We offered to fax the letter or resend via mail He accepted the offer of us resending the letter via mail A copy of the letter was mailed to his attention on 04/28/

DTE has received this case and will make contact with the customerThis case will be resolved within (10) business days Thank you

I am looking at the letter I received when I enrolled in the planThe first line reads "Your worries about costly unexpected appliance repair bills are over" That is a lie,but I believed it and I wonder how many other seniors believe it How clever to deem something unrepairable and they get nothing, unless of course you have paid an additional monthly charge of about $a month Your repairman did not say that the oven was not repairable, just that the part cost $(Which I don't believe), but you would not let me have A second opinion I repeat: this oven can be repaired, and I beg someone to tell me what my $payments were for????????????????????????????????????????????????????????Sincerely, [redacted]

Mr*** *** was contacted on Jan28, regarding his concerns. It was determined that by our Claims Deptthat his request for reimbursement would be denied for various reasons. In addition, Mr*** re-enrolled on the AMI metering program, all opt out fees were cancelled

DTE has received this complaint through other channels and is investigating

We have received this complaint and will resolve the customer's concern within ten business days. We will send an update accordingly

After a thorough review of Mr*** concerns, it was determined that the charges assessed to his account were accurate and based on visual meter reads. The service periods were also valid and based upon his request for utility service activation and terminationThe
electric meter was tested for accuracy in February and passed testing at 100.1% accuracyBased on these findings, the account will remain as billed for services rendered. Mr*** was notified via mail and telephone.Thanks

This concern was investigated in when the customer filed a MPSC case. DTE considers this case closed. Customer must pay for service received

She listened to my complaint and said she would call back on 12-16-2016. On 12-16-she called back at about 11:am and had a resolution. She said DTE would credit me $for late fees chargedI can't verif that this is the only charge. I told her that on 12-10-when I talked to *** he promised to send me the missing bills so I could examine all the fees and charges added. On 12-15-I got a letter from DTE which I expected to be the information I requested. Instead, it was another SHUTOFF notice indicating that my power would be shut off on 12-20-2016. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!! When I explained all this to *** she said they could give me an additional $credit for a total of $(these numbers don't add up?). I said this wasn't sufficient given the fact that none of this was my fault and that it took a tremendous amount of time and effort on my part to fix the problem they created. Since I can't seem to get a copy of all the missing bills I said that I wanted the total bill of $completely removed. She said she would send me copies of all the missing bills and charges, just like *** did almost a week before. In an effort to save a few pennies, DTE put me through one heck of a difficult process to stop them from inflicting ebilling on me. My time is worth something and I feel that at a very minimum I should have the $bill removed. I sent a check for the full $that they acknowledge receipt of. I would like this to be used as credit and the bill for $erased.Again, my time is worth something and I should get at least minor compensation for all my effort, not just having my power left on.
