DTE has received this complaint and we have forwarded it to power quality. They will investigate it further.

Our office has investigated Ms. [redacted] concerns and provided the following resolution:
A payment of $146.00 was confirmed and posted to Ms. [redacted] account on 04/03/2015.  In addition, her account has been reinstated on a monthly budget plan.

Good afternoon.  This complaint was received and assigned to a consultant for investigation and follow-up with the customer.  We will advise on the outcome.

DTE mailed the letter on March 16.  If not received please advise and provide mailing address.

We have received the case and have contacted the customer.  Once the investigation is complete we will contact the customer.

Contrary to Mr. [redacted]'s statement, there is a credit balance of $56.99 currently listed for his account.  No balance due as of 01/26/2015.  As a condition for restoring his electric service on 01/14/2015, Mr. [redacted] was...

required to pay a past due balance of $819.16, plus a security deposit of $164.00 and $25.00 meter reconnect fees.  On 01/21/2015, the deposit and reconnect fee were waived for customer satisfaction.  Thus,  a credit of $189.00 was applied to his current charges owed as of his most recent bill statement, 01/26/2015. 
While there is a credit balance of $56.99, his account is currently enrolled on a monthly budget plan in which he is to pay the same amount each month.   He can contact our Customer Service Dept. to cancel the budget plan at any time.

Customer's concern was resolved in January 2016. Mr. [redacted] is satisfied.

We are in receipt on this case and will investigate the customer's concern.   We will contact the customer and resolve the matter within ten business days.  An update will be sent accordingly.

The original response was just a notification from DTE that we have received the complaint and are investigating. The customer will hear back from DTE after investigation is done.
