After dealing with *** *** on DV for my Ford Edge with *** *** I was not getting anywhere except for a offer for DM of $1,075.00, so I went online and done some looking on DM in North Carolina and that's when I found AutoLossI submitted my accident report, and all information about my vehicle damage to Autoloss, via Fax and I was immediately contacted by *** at AutolossI was assured that my vehicle had a DV from a motor vehicle accident back in April 5, of around $3,After speaking with her and her company a few times, I felt it was safe to pay a appraisal fee of $for a certified appraisalI was assured that if or when any problems raised from the insurance company, *** *** that it would be handled by them as wellAfter a few months Autoloss sends me a email stating that they could not get a returned phone call from *** ***, so I was asked to file a complaint with the North Carolina Department , so I done soThen finally *** *** sent the

Autoloss is great The insurance company wanted to give me nothing for my diminished value claimI spoke with them a month before talking to Autoloss again and hiring them I wanted to see if I could to the claim myself Autoloss wrote the report and many demand lettersThe offers went from $to me settling at $3, I asked for $5,for the claim but felt the $3,was fair The claim took weeks but I was very happy with the settlement Autoloss worked very hard for me and I must have called and spoke with the staff every few days They always were very friendly and very nice I am very glad I hired them *** ***

I was involved in a four car accident I was the third vehicle hit and pushed into another vehicle Vehicle was ticketed and their insurance accepted 100% liability My vehicle was considered a high end vehicle Vehicle was repaired I requested a independent Diminished Value Appraisal of my vehicle Meaning, what is the lost value now that my vehicle has been wrecked and repaired by the *** *** *** Based on $17,in repairs MSRP on my vehicle was 92, How much value did my vehicle lose due to the accident? Autoloss (Monica) sent me what they called a professional appraisal stating my vehicle lost 23,in value I doubted the final findings and decided to seek other services from multiple appraisal in the Houston, Texas area All finding from separate appraiser all say my vehicle lost about 10K to 13K in value Autoloss didn't send any solid proof or formula of how they arrived at the total lost of 23K It appears they just cut and paste

I am writing today to request a refund of the $I paid to AutoLoss.com to prepare a diminished value report on my vehicle following an auto accident in which I was involved last July
The appraisal provided by AutoLoss, Incactually provided the other insurance carrier all the ammunition they needed to categorically deny my claim for diminished value One of the "comparable" vehicles provided in their report was a total loss Trans Am that was still listed around $20K, and *** used that sale listing to inform me that, if a total loss vehicle was still being listed with a $20K price, my $1K in door damages would constitute no loss in value whatsoever Kind of hard to argue with that logic, and I have abandoned my pursuit of the DV claim
I find that the inclusion of the total loss vehicle in their report, and AutoLoss, Inc.'s failure to perform due diligence, realize that the VIN was tied to a total loss and not include such a vehicle in the report, proved highly prej

I have spoke with the client regarding this refund response by my staff.. Erik has worked for us for years.  In the last few years,  he has never told a client they would get a refund .  Erik always gives me the file and I review it for a possible refund.  I also asked the client to send an email showing Erik agreed to the refund.  She stated she could not.  The client was offered $1,000 and decided not to take the offer per the email threads I have.  She is not eligible for a refund due to the offer. Thanks, Monica

Revdex.com
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint...

ID [redacted]. A check for the refund was also received today in the mail. It was postmarked the day this report was sent to the business. The result is satisfactory. Thank you for your assistance with this matter. It is greatly appreciated.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: I will confirm that a representative from AutoLoss.com asked for my [redacted] light to send a revised report to the at-fault insurance carrier, which I granted the same day.  I'm not sure what exactly Monica does not understand because, as of the time I entered my response on 6/23, I had not yet heard back from anyone.  The inbound email response to me was received AFTER my rebuttal with the Revdex.com, so no part of my response here is nonsensical. As of today, we are pending a response from [redacted].  None has been received at this time.

The refund policy is clear.  A client cant just say I did not get the full amount for my claim so I want my money back. Our website clearly states we do no guarantee the full settlement.  The client had numerous opportunities to contact our company so we could help her further. We also sent her a DV manual that went over this process as well.

I contacted our CPA to find out where the refund check was for our clients refund. Within 48 hours I got back to our client to let them know the check was in the mail.  Our client had already filed the Revdex.com complaint.  Also, we have never had a bounced check and we are a corporation...

and we have completed over 30,000 claims. Thanks, Monica F[redacted] Owner, Of Auto Loss

The refund policy is on the website. It states we will mail out the refund checks within 30-90 days by our CPA. Thanks, Monica F[redacted]  Also, when I spoke to the client today I told him the policy and referred him to our website.

When we complete diminished value reports we print off all advertised vehicles.  The ad did not state the vehicle was totaled. Once we found out there was an issue we stated we would amend the claim ASAP..  Mr.  [redacted], then stated he was an insurance adjuster and just wanted his...

money back. We told him as part of the process we need him to get a dealer quote so we could help with demand letters etc.   We also wanted to help him with insurance commissioner complaints and other tools we use to help customers. We do help every customer from start to finish. We have numerous employees to help customers as well.  If Mr. [redacted] would have followed the process and still was unable to get a settlement we would have refunded his fee gladly.  We would still like to help Mr. [redacted].  If any potential customer has any questions regarding this transaction please contact us and we  can forward the thread to them showing we acted in good faith and tried to help Mr. [redacted]. Thanks, Monica F[redacted]

Our refund policy is on the website.  If she provides the denial letter, a local dealer quote,  and an insurance commissioner complaint is sent in and we receive a reply then we will refund the appraisal fee if no offer is made.  We have sent the refund policy to our client before this.  Our refund policy is very specific.  Also, all clients approve all reports before they are sent to the insurance company. Our client approved the report before it was faxed to the insurance company.  Thanks, Monica F.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: well I have sent  the emails to their support services which  i received from the insurance. the insurance clearly stated in their email that they did not agree with their appraisal.  The offer made by the insurance was not due to their DV value estimation report but due to the time spent for the repair as stated by the adjuster. Autoloss had given me a misleading figure of $2500 and the offer is nowhere close to that. So DV value estimated by autoloss did not help me with anything. When I asked for the refund they emailed me saying that they will not refund my money. They keep lying and playing the games of send me insurance response again and again hoping that I will get tired and stop pursuing.  All the emails from the insurance were forwarded to their support services. Any guidance from Autoloss was rejected by the insurance.  Sincerely,[redacted]

Hello I filed complaint ID # [redacted] against Autoloss.com   Monica from autoloss has contacted me and advised she will refund my $250 if I withdrawl my complaint.   Please with drawl my complaint against autoloss.com   Thanks [redacted]

Sure, we have the clients information and we will mail out a check to him.. We had pulled his file to review the claim.. We have no problem sending him a refund check.. We want him to be happy.. We happily refund peoples fee if they can not get the DV at the end of the process.. I am sorry it took...

over a few days to review the file.  We were in the process of getting back to him anyway. Thanks, Monica

Mr. [redacted] was approved for a refund on 6-19-17.  He was notified of that in writing  on 6-19-17.   On 6-19-17 he forwarded us his address to mail the check to.   We emailed him that the CPA mails out the checks every 30-90 days.  The policy is on the website and most of our...

customers get the checks in 30 days. It has barely been over 30 days since the refund has been approved and Mr. [redacted] is sending us emails demanding the refund now.  As stated in emails to him and our website our CPA will mail the check within the allotted time. For tax purposes all refunds go thru the CPA.  We have no control over the date of the refund.  Thanks, [redacted]  [redacted]

Thank for you contacting us.  We always return clients emails in 24-48 hours.  Looking thru my email I don't have an email with any changes. Customer service is always our number one goal.. Please have the client forward us the needed changes or call us with the changes and we will have...

the corrected report to them today.  We always want our client to be happy.. Monica F[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:

5/17/2016 = the requested documentation was sent to Monica f[redacted] by myself.
5/22/2016 = Monica F[redacted] replied with " Please forward us your address so we can mail you a refund check per the website. Thanks, Monica"
5/23/2016 = I replied with my current address

Autoloss had my correct address BEFORE they would have sent out the check and even if they did, I own both addresses they have on file and still received nothing at either. I was angered because Autoloss as a company, should not be asking the customer if they paid. This should kept on their records instead of relying on the customer to provide the amount they paid and when handling a refund, a business that does not have a record of it is not a professional business. Not sure why her records show differently so I attached all the email chains. Seems like the check was sent out yesterday.
Sincerely,[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: Auto loss did not provide any methodology/analysis as to how she came up with a $8020.00 diminished value loss on page 6 of what we submitted to Revdex.com. We attached 14 pages of documentation when we filed the Revdex.com complaint. Page 5 is her receipt to us showing "Money Back Guarantee-At the end of the DV process if you don't have at least the appraisal fee we will reimburse you the appraisal fee per the website. Page 6 shows [redacted] denial letter because she did not locate and provide comparable vehicles that were involved in accidents, repaired and subsequently sold. Ms F. said that it was not possible to find exact vehicles. This is not what the insurance company asked for. She did not meet the burden of proof so our claim was denied. Her report only showed [redacted] dealers that would not take in non-certifiable [redacted] vehicles. There are dealers that would sell [redacted] that had repaired damage but she did not provide any dealer or other comparable vehicles that were sold. She had a copy of the insurance company's denial letter. Page 9-12 involved the emails exchanged between us and Auto Loss in which she said it impossible to find exact vehicles. As that is not the real issue it became a circular discussion. Auto loss's guarantee to refund the report charge has not been done and we have not received any diminished value from the insurance company for the above reasons. Auto loss needs to honor their guarantee.Sincerely,[redacted]

The client approved the report that was sent to the insurance company and it appears the repair order had stated the vehicle had a 4 cylinder engine and that is why we stated the vehicle had a 4 cylinder engine in our report.  We also sent the claim to the client to make sure he...

approved of the report to make sure the information was correct before the claim was faxed in.      Once he informed us of a   different engine we amended the claim ASAP and sent it over to the insurance company after her approved the new report.   The  client was offered a settlement and decided to take the offer.. I believe it was   for approximately $1,000.  Once he stated he wanted to take the offer he also stated he wanted to get him money back.  We    referred   him to the refund  policy   numerous times stating he would not be able to get his money back because the offer was significantly over the appraisal fee.  He stated he did not care and still wanted his money back.  He stated he would put in a complaint to the Revdex.com if he did not get his money back too.  Thanks, Monica
