This company is very misleading and shady I had a loan with them a couple years ago and just finished paying it off I wanted to get another small loan because I wanted to consolidate a few of my credit cards I applied, they pre-approved me, I signed the contract the same day I waited...I waited....I waiteddays...nothing I emailed customer serviceI got the general reply that I would receive an email in 1-business daysI did not I did receive an email the next morning that said I needed call right away or my loan would be cancelled and I'd have to reapply!! It sounded urgent so I called immediately They said I hadn't signed the contract That was not true but I appeased them and went online and signed it again Two days go by...nothing(funny how they wanted me to HURRY and sign it but they did nothing afterwards) The last loan I received from them was quick and easy and I had it in 2-days So I assumed this one would be the same I was wrong So I decided to call them AGAIN and they said "The only thing we need from you is your signature." WHAT? They kept going into the application, removing my signature and then telling me I needed to signI refused the third time and cancelled the loan Nobody could tell me (customer service is useless) why the loan was just hanging out I think it's because I paid my last loan off early and they didn't get their precious interest but that's my opinion Anyway I went to another loan place that was AWESOME!! DO NOT USE AVANT!

The only terms disclosed to me at time of application/loan approval were length of loan and payment amountsThe high rate of 35.94%, which Avant/Webbank charges everyone, was not disclosed nor did I receive the terms/contract after being approvedI had to call in, request a copy via email recently, before it was sent to me Again, contrary what they claim, they do not take into consideration factors like credit score as they charge everyone the same flat rateAfter doing some research and reading a large number of negative Yelp reviews, mostly all about their high rate, they do not consider credit score and charge everyone 35.94% I spoke with a live phone rep recently, advised her as I did a *** *** that payments on this loan will stop until rate is loweredPlease advise Avant/Webbank of this again as it would be in their best interest to renegotiate the rate if they wish to continue seeing payments

I received a line of credit through this company for over $4,for a down payment on my home We were very excited until we kept making payments every month and paying down very little of our loan I didn't pay attention to the fine print and I finally realized our APR was over 60% The employees that work here are great but I feel like the company policy or terms of agreement whatever are very unprofessionalI just want to warn people to be very careful before you sign anything

I paid off my Avant loan in full in August I rescinded my ACH authorization and confirmed the payment was receivedToday I wake up to my bank being debited $from AvantI owe them nothing! I called and spoke with Ray and Manager EbonyBoth of the told me it was an Avant error but they had to wait for the funds to clear then they would process my refundI was told this could take 4-weeks! They could not explain why they had my account on file still and would not refund my moneyI had to go to my bank and file an unauthorized transaction to get my money backBeware if you pay off a loan with Avant that a few months later they could debit you account for no reason! Horrible!

We applied for a loan June 2014, we were approved quickly, and the money transfer went smooth, we paid 176.00for months and then decided to pay off early (22month loan) so February of we called to get the payoff amount I was shocked to find out it was 1788!!! After paying faithfully on time every month OVER 1,dollars, only went to the actual loan! ! How disgusting is that!!! Stay away!!

I would have to say that this company is a scamI didn't think so because it was tied in with *** *** saying you are pre-approvedAvant asked me a couple of questions and then needed to verify my employment which I had told them I just started a new jobThey did not verify
I know because my employee had told me they called and he directed them to the corporate office which is closed on SatThey...Avant asked for my banking info personal password and like I fool I gave it to themI have fair credit and no debt and yet they said no, I did loans for the past ten years and I am not a risk if you really took the time to verify Avant you would have seen thisI think this is just a way to get into people's bank accountsIf you looked at my credit report you would have seen that I have a GOLD yes GOLD *** *** and that is not any easy card to posses Your credit pulling is off alsoOk, have to change banking passwords and now onto ***

Avant Credit should be banded from the Truth in Lending the thrive on people who are in really need money The contract shows the amount of interest but at the time you are in need and are just happy to be getting a loan at the time it doesn't matter I've never dealt with a company that collects all interest up front and nothing goes towards your principal I paid $a month for the first year of the loan and only $went towards my principle and came out on the first payment all of the or payments I have made since have gone towards interest only They are a rip off and please beware when you call to discuss a payoff they can't give you a straight answer it also a reason why they can't figure it out or at the time you have the money in hand to call back and see then what your payoff will be but you will have to ask for some of the interest to be taken off Seems like with a pay off it the system should automatically deduct any time that you have not kept the loan in effect

I am writing this in more disappointment than in a negative complaint any way my name is Marty *** and have been a customer of Avant Credit for a little over a year now which I got a loan from about a year agoI am on disability benefits from Social Security and Avant gave me the benefit of getting a loan to help with some financial problems at the time and I was greatfull Well the loan has been paid in full now and went to reapply and was told to wait days and been told that other times also, my credit score is not the greatest but there was a couple of times my checking account went into OVERDRAFT but the loan payment was always coveredI know I am just JOE BLOW but I HAD TO SAY SOMETHING
