Our official company name is Flower Tech Center, Inc., but we operate under the name Avas Flowers. Hereinafter, whenever we use the terms “Avas Flowers,” “We,” “Us,” or “Our,” please note that we are referring to Flower Tech Center, Incd/b/a Avas Flowers. As per the Avas policy, show within the Avas website with reference to delayed deliveries due to weather and also cancellation policy within "flex deliveries": Attempted DeliveryIn the event a delivery attempt was made but the recipient is unavailable, we will do our best to deliver the product to the customer when availableIn some cases we may need to charge an additional fee to re-deliver the product depending upon the locationIf you choose to cancel the delivery and the order after an attempt has been made to deliver the product ordered, we are only able to issue a refund to you for the cost of the arrangement.Cancellations Nor refunds will be issued on orders placed during Valentines Day or Mothers Day holidays if the order was placed within days of the holiday and the order was delivered within days after the respective holidayNeed To Reschedule Some Deliveries:Occasionally when weather, inaccessibility to the locale, need for special ordering, or for whatever reason Products cannot be delivered on the date requested we may attempt to notify the sender as well as the recipient. I am rejecting this response because: I contacted the company twice in order to receive a refund within hours (as stated in their policy), however, the automated telephone system said they would give me a call back (after already being on hold 10-minutes) I never received a call backNo one answered the phone I called twice within hours and no one answered the phone I am getting the run around The response to my complaint does not even make sense, it is as if they copied something from their website and isn't addressing my particular situation

I do understand the customer comments but we arranged for a re delivery to be done, which was accepted by the customerThe re-delivery was done and accepted by the recipientIt contained peach roses,with colorful designers choice flowers(snaps-Alstromareia and fresh carnations) This complaint has been responded to with arrangements of flowers and there are no further resolutions to be offeredThe customer ordered:Vase arrangement of Peach Roses and assorted flowers designers choice and that is what was delivered to value by the designer

I am still not satisfied with their attempt to resolve this: picking up the baskets for a full refund!! Like I would really tell my grandchildren that I have to take back their easter baskets when they are only & yrs old! And like they haven't already consumed some of the candy! Ridiculous! I am so done with these people and their poor attempt to resolve this issue I just hope that other consumers read their reviews before using their services Buyer beware!

I am rejecting this response because: Please follow along...I did read your policy and I am complaining because I was dissatisfied and within hours reported this to your customer service agent and requested a return/refund (PER YOUR POLICY). I was denied my right to a return/refund PER YOUR POLICY. I want to exercise YOUR policy to the fullest extent! Why is this so hard to understand???? YOUR POLICY per your Avas flowers website states: SATISFACTION COMMITMENT AND RETURN POLICY In the unlikely event you are unhappy with your product(s), please notify us within hours of delivery and you may return the arrangement for a refund, request an exchange of products, or receive store credit

I am rejecting this response because: I tried to work with you and received rude and unprofessional responses and I told your representative to cancel my order in plenty of time to cancel it, but he insisted that the flowers were going to be delivered two days after I requested them to be delivered and the best he could do is give me a $discount UNACCEPTABLE ! You should be out of business

another arrangement if you notify us within days of receiving the flowers, or we will refund
the service and handling fees. Since most of our products are perishable goods, we do not
accept returns or cancellations and we typically do not issue refunds as there is a 50%
restocking feeWe do not issue refunds for delivered productsSince the issue was;
the names on the card were misspelled, which I do apologize for, we issued a courtesy refund
in the amount of $The cards were attached to the arrangement and were given to
the family members, by the funeral director, before the flowers were brought into the service,
and should have been able to figure who sent the arrangementsThey were delivered in
time for the service as scheduled by the customer

However, this organization operates in an unscrupulous manner: what I thought was represented as a ***, *** florist was NOT; the organization that prides itself on customer service does NOT provide customer service, but completely ignores customers, as every time I called the phone number provided I received a computer controlled maze of frustrationAND, when I attempted to contact customer service about anything, beginning on 2/13, I received automated responses online and in email compounding the stressful situation While I will accept this paltry attempt to satisfy my complaint with the offering of this money, I am NOT pleased with allowing this organization or MR*** ***, Executive Team Customer Response Center Manager to continue operating under the guise of "florist" so other individuals can be duped of their hard earned moneyShame on "Avas Flowers" or "Flower Tech Center, Inc." or whatever else it may be calling itself

I am rejecting this response because: The florist did not try to deliver twice and I did not reject twice, they are telling you a lie, just like they told us that the original plant was delivered an hour and half before it really wasYour manager Ronnie told me he would contact the florist to pick the incorrect Orchid and refund the full amount to our account..he told me this twice. So we are expecting the florist to pick up the incorrect plant and our account to credited as told by Ronnie

These people are blatantly lying I spoke to the *** *** Steakhouse the day that I made the complaint to you and my credit card company Ava's flowers staff refused to speak with me They sent me insane e mails regarding this, are not disputing my complaint with the credit card company Plus I just got off the phone with Amy at the *** *** Steak house, I just got off the phone with Amy at the *** *** and she said that their response is a blatant lie There is not *** working there, nothing was delivered for *** and the *** from me.This company was so God awful on the phone when I was trying to track the arrangement They hung up on me at least times, or would transfer me to a message that said I had to schedule my inquiry that no one could speak to me I received several illiterate e mails stating that they have no proof of delivery except that it was delivered but no information was available.Then I received an e mail stating that there were sorry that the arrangement never made it and they wanted me to fill out a internal complaint form, and finally they sent me an e mail inviting me to become a member of the Ava's flower club They advertised as a local *** *** florist In re***ty they are a call center in Mahwah My real anger is with myself that I did not read all of the bad yelp reviews
