Mrs. [redacted]'s requested refund of $104.00 was processed back to her credit card in two transactions one on 5/11/17 in the amount of $82.68 and the remainder of $21.32 refunded on 5/15/17 for a total of $104.00.

I have spoken to Ms. [redacted] apologized for the lack of customer service and poor delivery service.  Her HNL subscription will be transferred back to mail delivery at no additional charge for the remainder of her subscription which expires 04/06/18.

Account balance has been cleared and double-checked on 12/29/16.  There is no current balance due to the News-Democrat.  Customer's information has been flagged as 'Do Not Solicit" in the News-Democrat's system.  Our collection contractor ARM has also been notified.  We do not report to any credit bureaus.

Ms. [redacted],  I apologize this matter was not handled promptly.  You account with [redacted] solution has been closed and has a zero balance, this will not reflect your credit score and your balance at the News-Democrat is now also zero.

Customers account is currently paid thru 10/15/16. The 'robo' call was a courtesy call to make sure the customer had received delivery.  The account has been flagged in our computer system as 'Do Not Call' as of 10/4/16.  Delivery will stop on 10/15/16 unless we are otherwise notified....

 The News-Democrat would happily honor six months free by contacting me directly at [redacted].

Customer has been contacted and her account has been changed to reflect a discounted rate.  Please call [redacted] for our local customer service if problems persist.

After discussing the complaint over the phone with the customer, the Belleville News-Democrat cleared all balances on the customer's accounts and flagged the customer's account to avoid being contacted again by the News-Democrat.  The News-Democrat honors all requests by customers not to be...

I am rejecting this response because:REF:complaint ID [redacted]: Nonsense why would I contact Belleville News-Democrat (BND) to stop papers when I was on vacation over Thanksgiving WHEN the subscription expired on 11/17/2017. I NEVER automatically renew subscriptions period....

The only reason I called was to tell them I didn't want the papers thrown on my driveway. If they think I'm going t pay them for a service that I did NOT order they have another think coming . If they want to go to arbitration be advised I'll be on vacation the 1st 3 weeks in February.

WE have replaced our old carrier and have addressed the inconsistent delivery with our new one. The customer has been given credit in the past for any missed papers and his account has been extended 28 more days.

Belleville News Democrat did stop but one week later we started getting Sunday newspaper from the Belleville News Democrat. Again, we do not want any newspapers dropped off at our residence. As of this present date we have received three unwanted Sunday papers. Will drop these unwanted newspapers at the BND downtown office as proof we are still getting unwanted papers
