For the second time we found ourselves in need of quick help and Ben Franklin came to our rescue During the installation of a new washer and dryer, the installer confirmed there was a leak in our utility room behind our washer so he couldn't install it I quickly called Ben Franklin and relayed the issue we were having I was again impressed by their organization and professionalism Carlos arrived just a few hours later He found and fixed the leak, helped me hook up the washer and fixed the leaky hose bib on the back porch Great service!!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.However, ONLY, as long as Benjamin Franklyn Plumbing puts My-balance down to "Zero", that will "only workout" if they hash-it-out with "USBANK Visa", who stubbornly says that they indeed DID pay Ben Franklin the bucksEach side (the plumber and the credit card co.) have REFUSED to communicate with Each-Other (I don't know why they won't do this, it would resolve the problem right-of-the-bat)! I'm tired of being their "Go-Between"! That method ain't workin'! All I want is "Guaranteed ASSURRANCE from BOTH partys that I won't be charged this dollars! That's all I ask! If this isn't resolved, my next letter will be to the ATTORNEY GENERAL! I've "washed-my-hands, of this issue FOR GOOD! The ball is NOW in Ben Franklyn Plumbing, and USBANK Visa's, court!!! The plumber called me first thing in the morning to let me know his arrival timeWhen he was stuck in traffic, he called and let me know he would be lateAwesome! When he arrived he did a thorough review of my house, described the problems he found, and let me know the best approach under the Ben Franklin plan that I haveOnce we established the what and how, he went to work and did a great job! No hidden fees, charges, or other unexpected problems

*** was very friendly, courteous, and professional in answering my questions and arranging for the technician to come to the house and give a free estimate on replacing a water heater
*** Grant was the technician on this job He called in advance of arriving When he arrived, he was very professional and provided a competitive quote for replacing the 75-gallon gas water heater As the heater had a small leak, I asked if he could install the next day and he replied that he could do it right away even though it was 2:pm in the afternoon He estimated it would take hours to complete the job As I have a finished basement and delicate fixtures in the middle of the room, I requested he keep the area very neat and clean during the removal of the old water heater and installation of the new
He returned within minutes with the replacement water heater and had all necessary drop clothes and tools to do the job A second colleague joined him to help remove the old heater and put the new heater in place They did an excellent job in respecting my property *** encountered a couple unexpected situations but was efficient and resourceful in resolving them He did an outstanding job, and I would gladly have him perform another service in my house

Absolutely first class service provided by James this Monday the 3rdof April He renewed an aging toilet, did a safety check of the house plumbing, and also a water quality checkI appreciated his care in backing up the truck up our rather narrow driveway, and putting on protective footwear for work inside the houseAlso, a clear and informative explanation of the service contract convinced us to take it upEnjoyed having James over- a true professional!

We had an issue with the main waste stack leaking in our year old house Ben Franklin responded to my call and set up an appointment to evaluate the situation Because of impending bad weather I called the day before the appointment to get it rescheduled They graciously did so When the appointment came around, the plumber who came out was courteous, clean and thorough After initial examination he said he would have to break through one of the plaster walls to get at the source of the leak He did so carefully and soon had identified the gash in the pipe We discussed options at length and agreed on how we wanted to proceed He wrote up the order and we scheduled the appointment for later that weekWhen that day rolled around he showed up right on time with an apprentice and they got to work I expressed my concern about not cutting the hole in the living room wall any closer to the floor than it needed to be (I have one very curious cat) He promised to do his best but said there was no guarantee He and his partner went to work, did the job thoughtfully and carefully, and completed everything that day In addition to the main stack they replaced a cast iron waste run to a water closet on the first floor I was very pleased that they had not gone any lower on the hole in the wall than it already was They cleaned up after themselves and truly left the work area cleaner than it was before they cameBenjamin Franklin doesn't do their own carpentry work but they arrange for a contractor to come to the house and quote the job In this case it was repairing the living room and basement stairwell wall I got a call from the contractor the next day and we set up an evaluation The contractor took a look at the work to be done, quoted me a price and set up an appointment to do the repair He showed up punctually to do the work and came back the second day to finish up with a skim coatAll work was competed satisfactorily and we are certain we will not have to have any of this done again Overall we are very pleased with the company, with all the representatives we dealt with and with the work

We had a tough problem with a leaking pipe in the crawl space As a result we had a muddy mess to work in, but *** was up to the challenge and repaired the problem quickly, effectively, and without complaint
