I needed a repair of the water heater that was installed by Ben Franklin in my home several years ago The plumber diagnosed the problem as a faulty thermostat(s) He required my credit card before he could start work I have been a loyal customer for many years Both of my credit cards were declinedThe plumber would not start the repair without an approved credit card I have never failed to pay them in the past Then the plumber refused to leave until I paid him for making the trip to my homeFinally, I applied for a credit line and was approved I then received a call from the high pressure salesman, "we could replace the parts for $but you really ought to replace the water heater FOR ONLY AN ADDITIONAL $ I told the sales manager where he could shove his new water heater I promised never to do business with the company again I said, "FIX THE PARTS AND GO TO HELL" The plumber repaired my water heater When he was waiting on my doorstep for an approved payment, I had a good mind to call the police and have the plumber removed from my home for trespassingDO NOT BUY THE SERVICE CONTRACT! They will come every year and bug you for purchasing a full bathroom remodel They are pests!
And the prices are high

John was great, he determined what the problem was, gave me a price and then did the workhe was done in less then an hourThe only negative is that their pricing is a little high

On June 9, 2016, we had Ben Franklin Plumbing , of Port StLucie, replace our electric water heater Our Service Pro was Bill Sand he was friendly, congenial, informative, and did a top notch professional installation of the new water heater From beginning to end this has been a positive experience for us We first spoke to Mario Hwho explained everything in detail and set up the appointment and were so pleased with the workmanship of Bill SWe certainly would recommend Ben Franklin to any of our friends

Scheduling our appointment was extremely easy *** *., our plumber, was prompt, courteous and extremely knowledgeable He provided information on how to take care of a couple items to ensure their extended life He also pointed out some improvements that we might want to consider...he did not attempt to pressure us into getting them completed as soon as possible
