I am rejecting this response because:My computer was NOT REPAIREDMy husband picked the computer up on the 22th of April and was told it was repairedAfter getting it home, not only was it not repaired, all my programs had been removed (without permission)I have none of my documents which included research on a book I am writing, my photosmy writings, my Family Tree Maker Program and other information Now the printer won't work and I get messages such as .....Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restartWere just collecting some data and then will restart for you, Then the message that it failed appearsAlso a message that there is a malware/ spyware problemAnother message says: checking media presence...media present...Start PXE over IPVthen the compute freezesWe have a contract with the Geek Squad and they should have noticed these problems when they had the computer in their possessionNOTHING HAS BEEN REPAIRED....on Monday, April 25, my husband went to Best Buy and asked for the manager (was told the manager doesn't work on Mondays) so he talked with the assistant manager who in turn talked with the Geek Squad and we were told that they would send a tech to our house on Wednesday the 27th at 8:a.m an that he would stay here until he got my files back and the computer repairedAt 8:on Wednesday, April I received a telephone call from a woman stating that the technician had an emergency and would not be coming outMy husband then went to Best Buy once again and while talking once again to the store assistant manager was abruptly dismissed when the assistant manager got a textHe told my husband that he could no longer say another word to him because I had placed a complaint the the Revdex.com.What started out as a simple request to see why my computer wouldn't connect to the internet has turned into a farceI believe this is what is legally referred to as NEGLIGENT ENTRUSTMENT and I want my computer fixed, I want my files and programs put back exactly as they were and an apology in writing from the CEO of Best BuyI don't want to have to pursue an attorney or report to the Attorney General of Texas but I don't deserve this kind of treatment as a customer

I brought my laptop that was not working on 11/to the Geek SquadI purchased a service contract at that time for $to repair my laptopHowever my motherboard was bad and the cost for repair I was told would be quite a bit and advised me to purchase a new laptop which I did about two weeks later after careful consideration and a second opinion I purchased a new laptop and iPad and gave them my email address of *** ***@att.netThe lamar.edu address has been invalid since I retired from the university on January 30, So I could not have given this incorrect email address and never have received any of my billings onlineI prefer the old fashion paper method in hand Also Best Buy has my correct mailing address and email address since I recd my first billing notice by email on 3/10/when I notified Best Buy, CitiBank and The Geek Squad by phoneAfter doing this I personally went to the Best Buy store in person to talk to Geek Squad in person and dispute the charges It is strange after all these months they sent me a bill at the right email address and also the bank never sent any notice by mail to my addressI would say this is a Geek Squad Scam and you need to set the record right by correcting your errorThank you in advance for your cooperation and assistance on handling this matter Sincerely,*** ***
