Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Regards, [redacted] In response to your letter dated February 27, 2015, I would like to inform you what really happen with my phone conversation with [redacted] [redacted] (U-Hauls Eastern Florida Regional Office) Mr [redacted] did contact me to inquire on the hitch & wiring and if it was installed I stated yes, I did get charged for installing the hitch, wiring & labor charge Mr [redacted] stated that I did not get charged for the labor on the hitch I told Mr [redacted] that he had been miss informed & I did get charged for the labor At this point, I suggested that Mr [redacted] look up the account and see that I did get charged(Note: I felt I was being called a liar, so I gave Mr [redacted] my credit card number & conformation number to look it up.) After looking up the account Mr [redacted] stated that I indeed paid labor charges and that U-Haul would be sending a check for the labor chargeI still feelthat this case was very unprofessional and that U-Haul needs to get their facts before calling a customer The sad part about this was that it was U-Haul’s “Eastern Florida Regional Manager”

Uhaul put the hold on my credit card and they are the ones that have to release the holdMy credit card company cannot release it they still think it is a valid holdI am really sick and tired of the excuses and the lies by uhaulThey put the hold on my card so they need to quit making excuse and trying to make it everyones elses fault and release the holdI will not accept any more reasons or excuses from them

I had been working with Jeff P [redacted] on the issue and trying to get a resolution for dispute on contract number [redacted] - Brain H [redacted] says I dropped truck at wrong location and is charging me instead of the which was the contract amount You had said you could not find where I called on Nov 4th Sat and got permission from Uhaul to drop the truck at that location I called sprint looked at my phone records online it shows I called ###-###-#### which is UHaul on Sat nov 4th at exactly 11:am and talked for mins I contacted Jeff P [redacted] UHaul dealer in town I rent a storage unit gave me his name Brian Hill is rude UHaul yesterday without authorization charged my credit card 629.80- I then called my credit card company today telling them I did not authorize paying UHaul anymore than my contact said which was amount I won't pay UHaul anything over this amount and credit card company will not pay it I would like this matter resolved I called and got permission to drop the truck off at the interstate drive location, I did everything I said I would Uhaul has lied to me twice saying they would send me transcript of my phone call Nov and they didn't send it Now you are saying you cannot even find where I called on Nov I have proof I called what number I called what day and what time I will not be charged an unfair and wrong amount I will pay UHaul and nothing more For the recordthis whole situation doesn't make the UHaul company look goodBrain H [redacted] knows trying to charge for a truck I rented drove two hours and dropped off at the right location the location I got permission to drop the truckj at, is outrageous.If you would like to call and discuss this farther you can call me- I tried to call John L [redacted] today but lady said he wasn't in today I would like this resolved,***

The reason I emphatically did not accept this resolution was because it isnt fair of a complete and total misunderstanding and me being charged dollars when the vehicle was brought back on time, with the desired gas plus I had the damage waiver on itI will accept the charged but I would like HALF to dollars credited back to my checking accountThis has put me in a financial burden almost beyond repairThe manager [redacted] told me have fun going in debt while he charges my card and laughed about it, told me thats what I get for taking the rental out of state when my car almost came off the tow which I had to wait hours in Utah to get help from someone passing by because I have no serviceTHIS IS A PERSONAL VENDETTA AGAINST ME and if there can not be a resolution I will file a civil complaintThey could have negotiated or made a deal with me but they even told me I owe more dollars which all in total is 5000.00!!! They are just making up what they are trying to charge me and that coward [redacted] is a complete unprofessional jerk who does not know what was all said and the one recording that could have shown I did what I was suppose to do is missing (how convenient for them to rob me)Respectfully,

When I received the call from Uhaul I relayed everything turned out okHowever, when I made the reservation weeks prior, and having been asked to change the location the day before and then again the day of and to go to a strangers houseTOTALLY UNACCEPTABLEWith week notice there should have been no problem picking up the truck I reserved at the location I choseThe only thing that was fine was that we ended up with a truck on the day we needed it
