The individual’s complaint is based on an error the individual made that is out of the control of Bittrex.  In an attempt to deposit digital tokens with Bittrex, the individual sent their tokens to the wrong address.  More specifically, they sent the digital token that they intended to...

deposit with Bittrex to an address for another digital token.  Because Bittrex is a company that is on the cutting edge of blockchain technology, it has the capability and technical skill, in certain cases, to recover the digital tokens that were sent to the wrong address.  But, this process is dangerous as it potentially puts Bittrex in a situation where it could inadvertently lose funds.  As such, Bittrex currently only has one individual on staff who would provide this service at all.  And, even in that case, it takes the individual a significant amount of time to complete the process correctly.  This is simply not a service that Bittrex offers to all of its customers because of the complexity, cost, time, and risk.  While we sympathize with the individual who cannot recover funds, Bittrex cannot help every individual that makes an error.

I am rejecting this response because: I have received a message reopening my complaint, but it is a generic messaqe and once I tried again and responded they did not respond until today and with a...

different support person who sent the same generic message about uploading files. I have tried numerous times with the same results and they do no communicate other than sending the same message from different persons. I have also uploaded files to the support ticket to be manually verified.

the same time, bittrex.com states that they can not get me through the passport of the Russian Federation, which contradicts the procedure for passing the verification of jumio.com. I believe that bittrex.com specifically does not want to verify me on the passport of the Russian Federation for the purpose of using or stealing my money which is deposited into the account. This problem is not just me, other people from Russia have the same problems and we are not satisfied with the work of bittrex.com.I attach screenshots of correspondence with jumio.com and bittrex.com. to confirm my words.

solved and the ticket is closed.I reopened the ticket for a speedy resolution. COINS OF IGNIS TRANSFERRED FROM ANOTHER EXCHANGE. In my wallet Bittrex.com coins did not come.

I am rejecting this response because: It is very common for people to inadvertently send ETH to an Ethereum token address. This is not a case of a cross chain transaction error. This is a case where 40 ETH has been sent to an ETHEREUM address, albeit marked in Bittrex's system as an MCO account.  It should be a simple matter to sweep all such incorrect transfers to either credit the client's Ethereum account with the appropriate amount of ETH or refund the money to the client.  Other exchanges resolve such issues within two days at most. It is completely unprofessional for Bittrex to retain USD$40,000 in ETH that does not belong to it without responding to the client.  They should ensure that their systems are able to resolve these kinds of inadvertent transfers automatically.  I will ensure that Bittrex's response is posted on all the appropriate public forums to ensure that everyone is aware of their policies regarding inadvertent transfers of ETH to incorrect ETH addresses and that they do not have systems in place to resolve such issues.

I am rejecting this response because: I have provided them with a Government issued ID(NIGERIA  VOTERS CARD). many people from my country are using the same ID I provided to verify thier account on  Bittrex. I dont know why they refuse to verify my own account with my voters card. NIGERIA VOTERS CARD are recognize worldwide. i  have even contacted Jumio netverify myself to confirm whether they accept NIGERIA VOTERS CARD. THEY SAID YES. I dont know what is bittrex problem from verifying my account. (Jumio netverify is the one handing Bittrex verification)

I am rejecting this response because: I sent in USD 650000 via bank wire transfer. I didn't buy or send any coins from other exchanges. The business already confirmed that they received the wire. However, the money was...

never credited to my account. The business's response is not acceptable. I require that Bittrex, Inc. Credit the $650000 deposit to my account as soon as possible.

Thank you for forwarding the concerns from one of our customers about Bittrex. We are pleased to let you know that we have resolved the issue with regard to verifying the identity of the individual at issue, and our customer is now free to trade. As a U.S.-based entity, we must comply with all U.S. anti-money laundering laws and regulations, and also takes steps to prevent fraud against our customers. While we have tried to make Bittrex's government-mandated identity verification processes as straightforward as possible, sometimes the photograph does not match, or the name and/or address does not match the information we have on the account. Those issues had to be resolved before we could allow any activity to occur. We sincerely apologize for the delay in getting this done, but unprecedented interest in Bittrex, combined with some technical issues, slowed our response. However, we have been working overtime to develop some technical fixes, hire more support staff to handle the problems, and work to prevent this situation from ever happening in the future. We understand how frustrating it was for our customer to be in that position. We have notified the customer that he is free to use his or her account. We appreciate the Revdex.com’s interest in this matter. We consider this complaint resolved, and would ask you to close this matter as well.
