The individual’s complaint is based on an error the individual made that is out of the control of Bittrex.  In an attempt to deposit digital tokens with Bittrex, the individual sent their tokens to the wrong address.  More specifically, they sent the digital token that they intended to deposit with Bittrex to an address for another digital token.  Because Bittrex is a company that is on the cutting edge of blockchain technology, it has the capability and technical skill, in certain cases, to recover the digital tokens that were sent to the wrong address.  But, this process is dangerous as it potentially puts Bittrex in a situation where it could inadvertently lose funds.  As such, Bittrex currently only has one individual on staff who would provide this service at all.  And, even in that case, it takes the individual a significant amount of time to complete the process correctly.  This is simply not a service that Bittrex offers to all of its customers because of the complexity, cost, time, and risk.  While we sympathize with the individual who cannot recover funds, Bittrex cannot help every individual that makes an error.

I am rejecting this response because: bittrex insists on legality but independently approves verification from countries that are under sanctions. It is legal? In this case, I ask you to open a basic verification so that I can provide personal documents that confirm that I am not a citizen of a country under sanctions.

 However, they should crate individual addresses for the user as most other coins do not require you to enter a message.  Biters makes a lot of money and only having one person handling these support requests is too few.  All in all I did finally get the funds and that is what matters.  Thank you Bittrex.

Thank you for forwarding the concerns from one of our customers about Bittrex. Unfortunately, we are unable to resolve this complaint because our customer has not submitted proper identity documents to us. Bittrex is registered as a Money Services Business under the Bank Secrecy Act, which means...

that it must comply with the Act’s implemented regulations; 31 C.F.R. Chapter X. Bittrex takes it obligations to prevent its services from being used to launder money, support terrorism, or commit fraud seriously. This has required a customer identification process in which each customer must submit a photograph of a government-issued identification, phone number, photograph (which is digitally compared to the photo contained within the identification). To date, the customer has not submitted the required identification, so we are required by law to suspend the account until such time as we are able to establish his identity. Once the customer is able to submit the required identification, then we will lift the freeze and allow him to conduct activity. We appreciate the Revdex.com’s interest in this matter. Because this matter is out of Bittrex’s control to resolve, and the customer can reactivate his account by complying with the required procedures, we would ask you to close this matter as well.
