This 5K was falsely promoted, was hazardous and is ambiguous about the specific Charity it SUPPOSEDLY donates, and does not share the amount of money or the percentage of receipts it donates
The Pre-Party was true to its description, but once the 5k actually began, it was patheticThe course varied over grass, gravel and pot-holed pavement that was on an old racetrackNOT continuously lit with backlights like advertised with "foam stations all along the course", but only one lame foam station right at the beginning of the course, then two at the very endPeople were SMOKING on the course, and the outline of the course was done so poorly, it couldn't accommodate the THOUSANDS of people trying to proceed through itPeople were falling into holes or indents in the ground, and there weren't emergency personnel along the courseThe mini-bottles of water handed out ONCE were WARM, as were the ones handed out at the endThe mass exodus of cars TRYING to exit was just a cluster of bottlenecked cars and tempers were HIGH by the end of this insanely UNDERWHELMING experience
This was not a FOAM runThis was a BUBBLE run to which of the four machines on the WHOLE course was not working, the staff was VERY unfriendly, products were sold OUT before 6pm, the course was HORRIBLE and MANY people fell and we're injured, it was NOT AT ALL stroller friendly to which I almost dumped my son out face first on the ground hitting a protruding piece of concrete followed by a horrible pot holeThere was nothing GLOWING about it Very very very disappointing especially when that is how I tried to celebrate my sons 12th birthday and MANY of my family members paid to do this as well and we all live at least hours away!

I participated in the Foam Glow 5k in Nashville on May 9, 2014, it was a diaster The race course itself was a major issueIt wound around the property at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds in Nashville, which was not a suitable location for a 5KThey crammed more that 14,people into a field to walk that couldn't handle even 1/thatWe walked on a mixture of asphalt, uneven grass with holes hidden in the grass and by the dark, and gravel pathways composed of large stones several inches thick that were not packed downParts of the area we walked was so dark that it became a hazard because of holes in the fieldI injured my knee thanks to one of these holes Only water station and it was at the end, and if like me you got hurt you just had to suck it up and complete the 5k because there was no volunteers or security to be see except at the start lineI am signed up for their Blacklight Run in October but if it is at the same venue I will not be attending
