Overall very good experience with Brewer & Stratton as they provide excellent service in managing my property and finding tenants in minimal time.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

This is the first of us hearing that our applications and fees are good for 30 days. I would appreciate a list of comparable properties being represented by this company or a full refund of our application fees.

Brewer Stratton Property Management is professional, organized and are knowledgeabl. The people are very honest and easy to work with. It is a pleasure doing business with them.

I have had the pleasure of having Matt S[redacted] (BREWER & STRATTON) as my property manager for the past 2 years in Phoenix. Matt has always conducted himself in a highly professional and friendly manner. His customer service skills are exceptional and he has carried out all request asked of him in a timely and proficient manner.

Matt's communication skills are excellent and well utilized as he has at time deal with some difficult property management situations for me but has always risen to the challenge, found solutions and initiated action to my satisfaction

Matt is always polite, courteous and friendly and has never me a cause to question his skills.

Living in Australia I have bee able to trust Matt with the day to day management of my properties without concern and valued his expert knowledge in the property management industry

I have been extremely impressed with how easy Brewer and Stratton Property Management made it for me to view homes. I work crazy hours so I especially appreciated the Rently lockboxes which allowed me to view several properties at my convenience. When I called in to their office for assistance, Meredith was so sweet and helpful! I would definitely recommend Brewer and Stratton Property Management to anyone looking to rent a home!

This company as a great team, they are dedicated to their customers, our Rep Mathew is a Professional, nothing but Great experience with them, our 1 year contract is coming to an end in June and we will be singing a new contract, best experience we had with a rental company

I have been with Brewer & Stratton for almost a year now. The star in this company is AJ S[redacted]. Always on top of events... knows how to get and keep tenants. Best of the best!

I am writing this response in regards to this complaint. We take these types of complaints extremely serious. As a Co-Owner and the Designated Broker of [redacted] & [redacted] Property Management LLC, I personally called [redacted] and spoke to him yesterday for over 30 minutes in an effort to resolve...

his complaint in how we presented his application to the owner. Our conversation was professional so this complaint after the fact really surprised me.

I let him know that we approve and or decline a rental application based upon the following criteria: (Rental History, credit report, criminal background check, and income.) We presented his application to the owner and based upon certain criteria that was on the application we made a decision to decline the application. He is upset with us because his application was declined. Although we regret having a dis-satisfied customer, we do not regret the decision in declining the rental application.

A great company that I highly recommend

Such a great company to work with! They have done a great job from beginning to start!

I met Damon S[redacted] in 2010 and hired him to look after my Australian clients who are investing in the Phoenix real estate market. Property managers are the key ingredient to growing a profitable real estate portfolio. Not only is Damon a smart manager, he's an investor himself. It's rare to find this winning combination of skills. Brewer and Stratton Property Management is a valuable member of [redacted] Phoenix team and they play a vital role our clients ongoing success. [redacted]

AJ S[redacted] of Brewer & Stratton has managed our nine Phoenix homes for almost two years. He has done so in a professional manner which is important since we are absentee owners. Our calls to him are returned promptly and he keeps us advised of any tenant applications Unlike our previous property managers (we have had four) he is interested in getting good tenants and not simply renting to anyone. I have found his judgement to be sound. My experience has been that tenants often complain about property managers but we have had no complaints about AJ. Finally, Brewer & Stratton does not add on a lot of extra charges to their bill which other property managers have done. I would definitely recommend him.

This is disappointing to see a complaint on a matter that we were trying diligently to resolve through direct communication. [redacted] the complainant wanted her 80.00 application fees back that are 100% non-refundable no matter the situation. I agreed refund 40.00 initially and she wasnt happy, we...

then agreed to refund the 80.00 application fee to resolve this as quickly as possible. We feel wronged in this situation as the fees were refunded yet a complaint was still filed, even though we agreed to her terms. Please let us know if you have any questions regarding this matter. [redacted] hasn't responded to any of the mails we sent to try to resolve this matter.

We have been working with Brewer and Stratton Property Management for over two years now. Their Company is Top Notch! I have been impressed with their entire staff and how each of them care about taking care of their Owners, Tenants, and Vendors. My opinion is that you won't find a better Property Management Company anywhere in the Valley. I highly recommend Brewer and Stratton PM to anyone looking to rent, maintain, service, or even sale their property. If you are looking for a Property Management Company that is efficient, technologically advanced, and offers five star customer service then you want to use Brewer and Stratton Property Management! They truly are at the Top of their Industry!

Matthew s[redacted] is just awesome from beginning to end! The company is fast, friendly and quick with your needs.

My wife and I have had nothing but trouble from this management company. Rudest and least helpful customer service we have ever had. they should be avoided at all costs!
First the house that we were interested in renting was listed at one price then later we find out that it was actually 105 dollars more and when asked about the discrepancy we were told that they only use the site to let customers see the house(without an agent) and that the pricing issues were not their responsibility. Despite this we still decided that the house was worth the extra money and proceeded with the rental process. After a few days we put a deposit down and they very briefly went over the actual cost with tax etc... At this time we asked if they would ask the owner of the home some questions about prepayment possibilities and some additions to the home. They said that they would and never contacted us back about it.at the lease signing we learned that the deposit was only 75% refundable which was never mentioned before during any of our conversations. At this point we asked about backing out of the deal and were informed in that case the deposit was entirely forfeit which also was never mentioned before. As we could not afford to lose 1000+ dollars we continued anyway. at this point we again asked them to ask the owner about the prepayment and additions to the home to which we were told that they already done so and left me a voice mail with the info. The problem with this is that I have no record of any phone call or voice mail from them that week. Which got no reply from them at all also we asked that the large amount of cigarettes in the backyard to be cleaned up because we have toddlers in the house. the reply was that's probably not going to happen. At this point we were so frustrated that we asked to speak to the manager who told us that the agent we had been working with he had personally trained and thus would have told us about the deposit rules.He completely ignored the issues we had about not calling us back and the price discrepancy told us that sometimes you have to do things your self in a rental home in regards to our cleaning requests. D
I can promise that when the lease is up we shall be moving and never again will we do business with Brewer and Stratton.
