We would like to apologize to the customer for any inconveniences associated with the failed delivery of the dumpsterOn 11/18/15, we arrived at the customer’s location and due to space limitations we were unable to successfully deliver the dumpsterPer the mutually agreed upon Terms of Service, customers are subjected to a $fee for failed delivery for reasons outside of Budget Dumpster’s controlHere is a relevant excerpt from the Terms of Service: Dry Run Charge(s): Budget Dumpster L.L.Ccharges a fee for unsuccessful container pior drop-off attemptsWhen this happens, we call this a "dry run"When a container is unable to be dropped off or picked up due to the following reasons, a fee is charged to the customerValid reasons for us to charge a client the dry run fee include but are not limited to; overloaded containers, low laying power lines or tree branches, cars or any items or materials blocking access to pick up or drop off a container, door open on a container, material heaped up or hanging over the sides of the container, containers that are too heavy to be removed, locked gates or fences, inaccessible driveways or parking lots for any reason(s) out of our controlThe dry run fee can range anywhere from $150-$This fee covers drivers pay, fuel, and time for re-routing the drivers planned schedule which takes an immense amount of workWe made every effort to avoid failed service attempts because they are very costly in terms of time and money for all parties involvedDespite the fact that the customer was deserving of a Trip Fee per our Terms of Service, we decided to act on the best interest of the customerWe did not immediately charge the customer and returned to the location with a smaller truckUnfortunately even with the smaller truck, the location did not provide enough space to safely deliver the dumpsterThis 2nd failed attempt resulted in the $feeThe fee was not a result of cars, or even the first attempt, it is a result of the customer not providing enough space to maneuver and safely place the container on the propertyWe hope that the customer can consider that this is not a punishment fee, but rather a recoupment cost to cover the time and money lost associated with a failed deliveryIn addition, the customer is only being subjected to of the failed deliveriesWe appreciate the customer’s feedback and businessThe customer has paid in full, we consider this a closed matter and will not be providing a refund reversalHowever, we are willing to provide the customer and the Revdex.com additional documentation at their request

They did not said they were coming out FridayEven Dale, the supervisor who I spoke with, admit it was not scheduled for Friday and said "at the latest" was Monday, October 5thAnd the only reason why they were there Friday was because I had request for "as soon as possible" and Friday was the day the picked to be there without my knowledge until the driver was already at the propertyThe Director of Quality has contacted me in regards to this issue and is investigating the matterI do not wish to close this complaint until I hear further from him Regards, [redacted] ***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below They did NOT send us the actual weight ticket until now, this is the first time we have seen anything from Budget Dupster except repeated copies of their invoices and threatening phone messages about how they are going to "send us to collections" if we don't pay them right nowAnd, by the way, they lied when they said we stopped communicating with them, because they were informed that we would be taking this situation to the Revdex.com to be sure that we were not being overcharged, since they had already tried to charge us over $incorrectly for our dumpster And, if, as they claim, the dumpster had gone directly from our yard to the landfill, then the date on the ticket would be differentIt wasnt picked up on Nov25th And what identifier do they use to show what dumpster comes from where, because I still think they have the wrong one Regards, [redacted]

We would like to first sincerely apologize for the negative experienceOn 11/13/17, the customer had dumpsters delivered making the day rental period to end on 11/23/The customer contacted us on 11/14/17, setting up the removal of both containers to occur the following dayOn 11/15/17, we arrived on-site and could only remove one of the containers due to the other being overloaded with materialsA representative contacted the customer and left a voicemail explaining the necessity to off-load the excess materials and to contact us once it is completed to schedule to removal of the containerAccording to our records, the customer did not contact us to schedule removal until 12/5/Unfortunately, the representative made a billing mistake and subjected the customer to extension charges for using the container beyond the rental period for both dumpsterThe customer should have only been subjected to extension charges associated with the overloaded container that was not scheduled for removal until days beyond the day rental periodThe customer has been refunded for the extension charges associated with the non-overloaded dumpsterThis documentation has been attachedWe are very sorry for this issue, but will not be refunding the valid extension chargePlease contact us for any additional information or documentation

We are very sorry and understand the delayed service may have incurred additional costsHowever, at the time of the order the customer agreed to our Terms of ServiceAs mentioned previously, here is an excerpt from our Terms of Service: Budget Dumpster will not be liable to Customer under any circumstances for costs, expenses, losses and/or damages incurred by Customer in any manner relating to such delays.This information was also successfully sent to the customer prior to the delivery of the dumpsterWe do not feel this situation warrants a refund and hope the customer can take this agreement into consideration

We would like to first apologize to the customer that he remains dissatisfied with his dumpster rental experienceThere are many aspects of this process that we would like the customer and the Revdex.com to take into considerationThe weight limit associated with the dumpster was properly communicated at the time of the order, multiple times via email and always available on our websiteWhen the dumpster was removed from the customer’s location, it was taken directly to the landfillThe customer’s materials were weighed multiple times in a highly regulated, governmental processIt was determined by a state certified Weigh Master that the customer’s materials weighed tons or tons over the maximum weight limitBudget Dumpster has zero influence over the weighing of the materials or the amount of materials that the customer decided to dispose of into the dumpsterThe customer stated “there is no way” that this could be trueHowever, the customer’s materials weighed more than double the maximum weight limitThis infers the customer does not have a true understanding of the weight of his materialsWe are willing to take pictures into consideration, but pictures can only convey volume, not weightTo be clear, it is not the volume of materials, it is the actual weightIn addition, upon request we can provide a weight ticket from the landfill to further document the weight of the customer’s materialsIt is true that this not the only complaint regarding overages, however only 20% of Budget Dumpster’s customers exceed the weight limit, with many choosing to do soThe customer has taken financial responsible for the overage fee and we are more than willing to address any additional concerns

We are sorry that this fee was incurredThe customer is required and agreed to have the location properly prepared for the piof the dumpster for the entire designated dayThis includes keeping the location free of any obstructions and the materials must be within the confines of the dumpsterWhen we arrived on-site, our records indicate that the location was not properly prepared for pidue to the dumpster being overloaded with materialsWe make every effort to remove containers, however due to our tight schedule of deliveries and pick-ups it does not provide us the opportunity to remain on-site for an extended period of time to allow customers to prepare the container for removalAs mentioned previously, per the mutually agreed upon Terms of Service, we are able to subject customers to Trip Fees for any reason beyond Budget Dumpster’s control, which includes the overloading of containersThis fee remains unpaid and according to our records, the customer has requested to be subjected to the collections processWe consider this issue a closed matter

We apologize to the customer for any confusionAt the time of the order, the representative properly communicated the weight limit associated the dumpster and the fees associated with exceeding itThis information was also successfully sent via email prior to delivery of the containerWhen the removal of the container occurred, the dumpster is sealed and taken directly to the landfillThe materials were weighed multiple times in a government regulated process and a state-certified Weigh Master determined the customer’s materials weigh tons or tons over the ton weight limitDespite the details of the complaint, on 9/28/the customer was provided via email the weight ticket from the landfillThe weight ticket has been attached and is the official document that verifies weight of the customer’s materialsThe landfill was able to verbally verify the weight on 10/27/Also attached is a photo of the customer’s container taken due to a Trip Fee for not being able to successfully remove the containerIn the photo, the dumpster is filled to capacity and includes concreteAlthough volume does not determine weight, it can be inferred that this total amount of materials would be rather heavyIn addition, due to the customer exceeding the limit by over tons, the customer is not able to accurately estimate the total weightWe understand that estimating weight can be difficult and apologize this fee may have been unexpectedHowever, Budget Dumpster did not have any influence over the weighing process or the amount of materials that the customer decided to put inside the dumpsterWe are simply recuperating the additional disposal costs that the customer incurredThe balance due has been paid in full and we consider this a closed matterUpon request, we can provide any additional informationThank you

They should have weighed the dumpster at my home before leaving my property to prove it was over the weight limitAlso, no one from Budget Dumpster called me to ask my permission to charge my credit card for this charge of $120.75, as well as the $for the extended timeWhen I spoke to Danny at 910-660-extension on Thursday, July 20th, He advised me that the phone call was being recorded and that the dumpster fee of was for a day rental from July 24th 2017- August 3rd and the dumpster would automatically be picked up and that I should be sure to have all vehicles out of the driveway because there was no guarantee what time they would deliver and pick up the dumpsterIF I wanted an EARLIER pick up I should call the number above, otherwise the dumpster would be picked up on August 3rdBudget Dumpster is now changing their storyI would like to obtain the recorded conversation and proof of what was in the dumpster, otherwise there is no proof that what I put in the dumpster weighed over tons Regards, [redacted]
